Love Beer and Bread too! We just recently picked up Isle of Cats Duel and Sky Team. Have been playing Isle quite a bit, that one gives the feel of the original with some interesting two player mechanics. Just played SkyTeam last night and enjoyed that too. Other favorites in our collection are Canopy, Splendor Duel and Mandala.

Thanks for sharing! Quite a few two-player only games we haven't played yet.

Nice list. It strange you didnt put Azul on the list, many consider it one of the best 2p games.

      Azul is a wonderful game.
One of our favorites. It didn't make this list since we were focusing on game that were max 2 players, and Azul can play up to 4.

That is a great game and will definitely be showing up in future videos and lists. Would love to hear other games you enjoy playing with 2 players (even if they play more). Suzanne and Conesy always need more games to play!

@wiscodice_main In fact I just got into board gaming recently. I started with Catan (like most of people), and Azul will be my second game actually, Im getting it tommorow. I did some research and Castles of Burgundy seems like the one thats liked by many in 2p. How did you like it if you had a chance to try it?

Glad to hear you're exploring the wonder that is board gaming.
Castles of Burgandy is great. We own the recent/updated version. We've found it scales well for 2 players.
We recently put a list on our website: Wiscodice.com of great games for starting a collection if you need more inspiration :). Also, feel free to reach out with any questions on what to try next and let us know what games you are enjoying (or not).
