I agree with everything you said. Managed to get a 69 reg BRZ new from my local dealer. It sat in the showroom a year during COVID until I bought it post lockdown with 6 miles on it. It was the last one the dealer could get in WR blue and second to last new BRZ the dealership could get.
I've enjoyed every minute of owning it and don't plan on selling it any time soon. Probably one of the lowest milage ones in the UK, I haven't clocked 6000 miles yet! I'll never track it, just enjoy driving round the country roads.
I didn't know there was less than a 1000 in the UK, but what I did find out was my car was one of 36 registered in 2019 in WR blue.
I do think it will be a future classic, it's a pretty car from all angles and will become extremely rare within so many years.

I ordered at 2024 BRZ Limited; and I am so looking forward to owning this vehicle.

As with for example the Nissan S13/S14, finding an original untuned one in 5 years might be impossible

I'll have the unicorn then as I don't plan on modifying mine - well unless you count mudflaps. I've put a set of OEM Toyota gt86 flaps on mine for practicality. Something that Subaru UK strangely never offered as an option.

Don't forget there was a kitted BRZ in fast and furious 8, which adds something, probably

Here in the USA we got both the BRZ and the FRS. I drove a BRZ around 2015, which I think was a 2013 model and although it looked really good, I found the drive very disappointing.
But I'm not the target buyer, I'm an old man & I told the salesman, I'm sure the kids will love the car,
largely because they didn't have much of anything to compare it to.

The cat isn't for everyone but it really suits UK roads much like Japanese roads. We have narrow twisty country roads which the car excels in. I must admit on the straight it's nothing special!

I'll have to drive one. I've got a buy window. I'm looking for a drivers car. Track once a month.... second car. Most of all, reliable and enjoyable without breaking the speed limit on the public roads.

Google the GT300. Such an epic looking race car.

No turbo let the car down

True you can add a turbo and extra power so easy getting your average car to look and handle like this masterpiece is damn near impossible
