I think they may have patched this out. I tested this and melded 50 talismans, didn’t get what I wanted so I quit out and then came back and melded one talisman, saved then quit out again for good measure, then I melded 50 more talismans and the table only moved by one charm. So it doesn’t reroll the entire table anymore, you’re stuck with shitty charms. So basically I have to meld 50 talismans before I can get another chance at getting a good one, what a effing bummer man. The charm grind is pretty discouraging
@@Bilbo122333 Yeah it sucks getting poverty charms. But fortunately in Sunbreak you will eventually get really good charms. In title update 5 they basically just said god charms for everyone, but if you play on console title update 5 content won’t come out for awhile so aurora melding is your best option to get specific skills that you want. I grinded in base game for more time then i’d like to admit, and trust me I got A LOT of really bad charms, but I did eventually get a handful of good ones. I got lucky and ended up getting an extremely good charm for longsword, which i’m still using in Sunbreak to this day. I was doing this a few days ago before knowing about this video when I realized I could turn auto save off, I managed to roll a Attack 3 Extender 2 with a 3 deco. Honestly, I really like how I can craft Decorations outright through playing the game, but this random charm BS is ridiculous, I'd have preferred a system that would have me gather materials targeting a guaranteed skill of level 1-3 with a random chance at a 2nd skill and decoration slots.
I'd still recommend doing the max number of melds even if it "wastes" materials when you get something good. If you're doing this method, it's probably to save time. Doing 3 meld slots means if it takes you 30 slots to find that charm, it took you 10 cycles of reloading a save where it only took a person who did 10 slots each time, 3 cycles. That's a lot of extra time spent in loading screens.
Also someone told me that when you reroll with just some talismans it also rerolls the remaining ones, for example you can get 50 talismans but only meld 10, rerolling will “discard” those 40 you didn’t get and maybe one of those was a god one. I am not sure about this but that’s the rumor.
this method working, but you need to randomize with the same melding process( meld 1 talisman out of 5, if you use that melding process, do not use other methods to refresh)
@ If you used Wisp of mystery to craft the 5 talismans then you need to craft the one talisman after using Wisp of mystery again so Wisp of mystery table gets randomized. If you used rebirth than you need to craft the 1 talisman using rebirth so the rebirth table gets randomized etc

I actually disagree with your assessment of 15 charms being the most practical number to do this instead of the full 50 and here are the reasons: 1) If one of the last charms in the pile is a god charm then you would have missed out on it had you not made 50. Sure, you "wasted" 50 charms worth of mats _but you have it_ - as opposed to just not having it. 2) If one of the earlier charms is the god charm in the pile then you can just count which number it is and instead of only making 1 charm after you went back to your pre-meld save, you can make whatever number it was and you got it. 3) Doing the whole 50 actually _saves_ mats. You know that 1 charm we need to make in order to go to another charm table? Well, that costs mats. I had 112 Narwa Tentacles when I started and absolutely chewed through them within a matter of hours. Rolling 50 charms instead of 15 considerably cuts down on your overall mats wastage since you get to see 50 charms for the price of 1 instead of only 15. 4) It saves time! Saving mats isn't the only benefit to save scumming. It saves a considerable amount of time as well - even if you have a group that's capable of doing sub 4 or even sub 3 on Narwa - and doing 50 charms just further cuts down on it since you waste a lot less time doing the steps of the exploit that gets you to another charm table. Either way, great vid and thanks for raising awareness for the trick.
Honestly this is how I felt after a few days of only doing three to five melds. I also started questioning the possibility that what if I did the whole 10 melds, would I hit a god charm faster instead of just doing the minimum. But in my case, I've had nothing just shit RNG and have barely ran into good charms.
@@GottaLoveDepecheMode Oh yea, I've been doing it for about a week and I haven't got a single charm to show for it yet. @@earthbound_one what do you mean? Doing this method, in 6-8 mins slowest you can open 50 charms vs a single hunt with that same time you can open only 5 charms.. it sounds complicated but its not at all.
Its bad that the RNG for endgame charms for endgame players is so poor that save scum is going to be used to gain those charms. Imagine if Capcom chose to introduce a better form of Moonbow charm melding for endgame melding. Would be so much better
they just need a system that can reroll a skill, or add slots, to the game. would be the perfect extra grind for absolute progression, rather than total rng, which would pair perfectly with a new half-way difficulty that the game needs (a tempered/hyper equivalent, with rewards being the new mat that lets you reroll skills).
Now i wanna laugh at people that said Jewel RNG back in World was harder. Hell I got all the jewels back then. This Talisman RNG has like so much layers of RNG - the main skill / sub skill, the levels of them skills, the skills randomly generated, and lastly the slot RNG :)
@@SdF-alvz Yeah, but at least with craftable decos, you can get a build that works and the talisman is just bonus. In World, your options were much more limited if you didn't have the specific decos you needed. The talisman RNG makes getting a god charm harder, but you don't need a god charm as badly as you need decos.
The only way i can see capcom patching this out is by having the game autosave when you're about to meld and open your rolls even after you turned it off
I'm shocked they didn't do it in the first place since World autosaves after deco melds. This will probably be patched out because it's too convenient.
I was gonna avoid doing stuff like this but I just recently heard that moonbow can't give Wex 2 charms so i kinda feel insulted by this melding system now
I tried this method and here is what I learned. (correct me if I got anything wrong). the resetting method is actually not REAL reseting, but instead, it's like allowing you to jump among tables. If you try the following: melding run 1: [cloud saving] -> [reset] -> [10 melding batch A] -> [reset] -> [10 melding batch B] -> [reset] ... melding run 2: [cloud saving] -> [reset] -> [10 melding batch C] -> [reset] -> [10 melding batch D] -> [reset] ... you will find in 2 different runs, with the same starting point [cloud saving], even with [reset], [10 melding batch A] = [10 melding batch C], and [10 melding batch B] = [10 melding batch D]. In summary, if you want to use this method, try to save your current progress if you are using cloud service. Otherwise, you have to go over everything (reset & melding with same result) again. Honestly, I will recommend the ppl who had already got a "pretty good" charm to not do this, and ppl who spent tons of mats but still hav no useful charms to try it out. For me, this melding process is a pain and boring and kinda twisted the main reason for playing MH, which is fight MONSTERS! lol GL everyone.
EDIT:(actually I can't confirm if doing quests moves the table or if only melding moves the table. I'll have to check...) EDIT 2: After some testing, it would appear that the table only moves when melding. So Table sniping is not going to be an option. How unfortunate. It would appear that table resetting is kaput. That doesn't mean that the studious save scummer can't table snipe. Boot up your favorite spreadsheet editor and start counting your quests.
Cloud saves could be a backup in case someone accidentally saves/forgets to turn off auto save, and could allow auto saving to still be on for this method.
Thanks a lot I either need Attack boost 5(no slots is fine) Attack boost 3(2;2 slots) Heroic 3 (2;2 slots) For my kind of anime damage build This will probably save me lots of time, so THANKS!

I have been doing this all day since early this morning. So about 5 hours in and have acquired absolutly NOTHING! Unless mastering a -17 sec death is something
On the step four no need to quit the game again you can proceed to crafting 2-5 more, just save after getting that 1 talisman.... i tried it multiple times...
@@ryanxue5622 Nice, lucky. Can you tell me which melding option you used? I've been hearing that the only one you can get a WEx2 charm is by using Rebirth, not Moonbow/Mystery. Rebirth will obviously take a lot longer.
I got bludgeoner 3 we 1 but still prefer attack 3 one because tigrex gauntlets have a 3 slot and I use to run good luck too on my builds, bit less dps but 4-5 more materials any hunt.
I've been using a Wex 2 x1 tier 1 slot talisman for the longest time since I couldn't get anything decent. I see this video, try it out and within an hour I got a Constitution 3 - Recovery 2 - x1 tier two deco slot and x2 tier 1 deco slots. Not quite as good as your talisman there PWAR but if you use rampage bows and Rakna's bow with healing arc shot... it's perfect! Now if I can get my hands on a Con 3 - Attack 2(or 3) - with a 3 (or 2) and 2 deco slot... I'd cry manly tears of joy.
Tried it twice now, all 20, didn’t like it, quit, melded 1 talisman on the same slot, rajang’d and then collected it, saved, did the 20 but they are NOT re rolled
No, every time you meld it resets, regardless of saves. The point of doing the one meld on step 4 is to change the table for the next batch. If you simply reload your save after step 3 you'll be on the same table you had in the first place.
@@dark666105 You must have allowed your game to save then, Did you disable saving in the options? Rewatch the video, and follow the instructions to a T. At no point did he say to craft just one after loading your save.
I did exactly what it says in the video and luckily I found a good table, my question is ... when I enter a room to play with my friends, is it possible that my table changed?
If one of your 3-5 pot roll give you a good charm and is one of the earlier one you can load and only roll up to the number of that good one. Thereby save even more material, (I.e. a 4 pot roll and attack 3 200 show up as 7th, load and meld 1pot +2 take the atk3 200 then save and re-set
I actually never realised it was and what is apparently called a God talisman. I was doing some melding pot grinding and got an attack up lvl 3 with two two slots
Remember, savescumming here is not cheating and is morally correct because the system is already cheating you by forcing you to undergo rng at the level beyond gacha games.
I tried that before the update 2.0 and that didn't work. The game automatically knew what to drop. It didn't matter how many times I reset it, the results at the end was the same.
You should mention that this doesn't work anymore in the video title as to not waste people's time. Instead, i started using the MH rise build calculator and it's crazy how many good sets you can make with suboptimal charms. The difference between a set i made with a common charm and the most optimal set was 1 level less of attack boost. I can definitely live with that until i have access to Sunbreak's superior melding.
I've been taking a short break from Rise for the past three or four days. Mostly so I don't burn myself out from grinding. Like how I did pre-patch before knowing about that cursed charm table BS and wasting SO MANY HOURS GRINDING. 😭 But I also had to take a break so I could finish this final project for my JavaScript class I've been taking. I plan to get back on tomorrow, and when I do I'll definitely try this method of talisman farming.
This is tempting but, talisman is one of the reason beside fighting monsters that made me willing to grind and actually playing the game. Although im not against it, i know its frustrating whenever you come back from a hunt and seeing your melding is producing poo talisman with no slot or useless skill that don't go with your build. Sorry if my words are confusing.
It can be really long. Personnally, I like to do all 10 slots and pray. Love the " bashing " monsters into each other for quick mats. Took me a couple days to get a okay WEX2 talisman.
Sisters and Brothers of Rise Fleet, its time. I will keep my farewell brief, never was much with words. Once you board this METHOD, there is no turning back. The next Pot your Charm will touch will be that of the New world. If any of you lost the nerve, then step away now and let no one judge you. Very well. Then Meld safe and strong... And may the Save Scumming light our way.
I wouldn't consider it scummy in the slightest. Especially since a lot of us were unknowingly at the time; stuck in a cursed charm table with no way to get god-tier talismans.

It's a 1 in 3 billion to get the exact god charm you're looking for
I've been looking for a way to farm charms more efficiently. Thanks so much!
This is huge! I know what I'm doing tonight
You should
Same here xD
😩✊💦
Hey i got that exact charm you showed on the intro!
The only way i can see capcom patching this out is by having the game autosave when you're about to meld and open your rolls even after you turned it off
I'm shocked they didn't do it in the first place since World autosaves after deco melds. This will probably be patched out because it's too convenient.
@@ant_989 Exactly
Then we probably only have until the next update to do this
other than not spending the materials unless you get a good one, this is no faster and in fact arguably identical to just doing it the right way?
I remember starting a new profile on mh3u just to get the best charm table. The good(?) ol’ days.
I legit haven't gotten a decent charm in a month, I'm going to start scumming now screw it
How has it worked out for you?
Me too. Been doing it for 3 weeks now but no God charms 😞
I was gonna avoid doing stuff like this but I just recently heard that moonbow can't give Wex 2 charms so i kinda feel insulted by this melding system now
Yeah, had to resets for ages in Wisp of Mystery for one that's average. Just use the Valtrasx armor, it's much more easy.
This will never be patched as it is been a part of MH games since the first game released.
they patched deco scum on mhw.
@@alfonsolouisalfonso955 as long as backup save are a thing save scumming cant be patched
@@kotzer71 but it can have workarounds, sorta like MHW which requires you to save
I tried this method and here is what I learned. (correct me if I got anything wrong).
the resetting method is actually not REAL reseting, but instead, it's like allowing you to jump among tables. If you try the following:
melding run 1: [cloud saving] -> [reset] -> [10 melding batch A] -> [reset] -> [10 melding batch B] -> [reset] ...
melding run 2: [cloud saving] -> [reset] -> [10 melding batch C] -> [reset] -> [10 melding batch D] -> [reset] ...
you will find in 2 different runs, with the same starting point [cloud saving], even with [reset], [10 melding batch A] = [10 melding batch C], and [10 melding batch B] = [10 melding batch D].
For me, this melding process is a pain and boring and kinda twisted the main reason for playing MH, which is fight MONSTERS! lol
GL everyone.
XD OMG Thank You Very much for this vid, my third reroll and I got WE lv 2 with a 1v 3 deco
W
Thanks dude, i am trying to get AB7 and CB3 with my narga build but i couldnt get a good talisman, this really helps
Still works?
EDIT:(actually I can't confirm if doing quests moves the table or if only melding moves the table. I'll have to check...)
EDIT 2: After some testing, it would appear that the table only moves when melding. So Table sniping is not going to be an option. How unfortunate.
It would appear that table resetting is kaput. That doesn't mean that the studious save scummer can't table snipe. Boot up your favorite spreadsheet editor and start counting your quests.
Thnx to this method, i got what i needed

This is gonna help alot!!! Thanks dood!!!
Cloud saves could be a backup in case someone accidentally saves/forgets to turn off auto save, and could allow auto saving to still be on for this method.
Thanks a lot
I either need
Attack boost 5(no slots is fine)
Attack boost 3(2;2 slots)
Heroic 3 (2;2 slots)
For my kind of anime damage build
This will probably save me lots of time, so
THANKS!
The only good charm I got so far is a Rapid Morph 3 + Evade Extender 2 + two level 1 slots. It's a good switch axe charm.
My man!! I'll welcome myself to the scumgang! I'm using Acton replay? Or The other monster hunter equipment creation thing for my 3ds monster Hunter on my pc? People call me a cheating 💩? No problem!! Cuz this makes the game fun and fair!!
Love ya bro!!
I appreciate this.
Thanks man.
Aight, I hope my 2 neurons dont mess this method and save @_@
ganbatte neurons!
Right, I'm the type of person that saves after an auto save because I don't trust it.
I have been doing this all day since early this morning. So about 5 hours in and have acquired absolutly NOTHING! Unless mastering a -17 sec death is something
even this method is rough...ive done this all day today and have not found a single good talisman
Worth the sub and like man
On the step four no need to quit the game again you can proceed to crafting 2-5 more, just save after getting that 1 talisman.... i tried it multiple times...
i thought i was going nuts, the first charm was never the first charm i had in the previous, so i noticed this too
Subscribed because of this. Thanks!
Nice work.
*flashback to how i got tenderizer 6 + 3 slots*
Let's do this!
Scoom gang wya????
Omg after doing this passively for the past couple days, I finally got a Weakness Exploit Level 3 slot 😭
I got WEx lvl 2 + 1 gem3 slot 😂 too
@@ryanxue5622 Nice, lucky. Can you tell me which melding option you used? I've been hearing that the only one you can get a WEx2 charm is by using Rebirth, not Moonbow/Mystery. Rebirth will obviously take a lot longer.

@@phillgaston478 my goodness my rajang CB would never go back in the box if I got bludgeoner w it too
I got bludgeoner 3 we 1 but still prefer attack 3 one because tigrex gauntlets have a 3 slot and I use to run good luck too on my builds, bit less dps but 4-5 more materials any hunt.
You may as well get the charm editor mod if you wanna do this stuff. Make sure to backup your save though.
It doesn't work anymore.
I'd cry manly tears of joy.
oh shit, were doing it!!!
This info is really helpful. Thanks
Tried it twice now, all 20, didn’t like it, quit, melded 1 talisman on the same slot, rajang’d and then collected it, saved, did the 20 but they are NOT re rolled
My god... I can see the light... After killing nothing but Narwa and Bazelgeuse for a while now and getting jackshit for it, this gives me hope...
sitting on 120 narwa kills... i got some good charms but i want better :D
so technically if i never log out of the game and only putting my switch on sleep mode, i will stay on the same table forever?
No, every time you meld it resets, regardless of saves. The point of doing the one meld on step 4 is to change the table for the next batch. If you simply reload your save after step 3 you'll be on the same table you had in the first place.
@@V1C10US I crafted 1 after just closing the game and reloading and the talismans I got were all the same except it was one more down the same table.
@@dark666105 You must have allowed your game to save then, Did you disable saving in the options? Rewatch the video, and follow the instructions to a T. At no point did he say to craft just one after loading your save.
@@V1C10US yes, I found out the problem was apparently closing the game doesn't work it has to go to the title screen to properly switch tables.
I did exactly what it says in the video and luckily I found a good table, my question is ... when I enter a room to play with my friends, is it possible that my table changed?
Sadly .....this is really helpful !
Rapid morph lvl 3 with slots... you will be mine. Tysm for the videooooo
Lol I’ve been getting into MH with MH Rise, but I didn’t know it went this deep. It’s cool, but I’m good.
I knew this could be done but didn't knew you had to reset the table. Makes sense. Scumbags unite!
Do you really have to tho?
doesn't work on "Melding - Vigor"? or is it already patched on all melding method?
I like the Tekken soundtrack in the background 👌

@@heroidanoite it doesn't work anymore. I checked.
If one of your 3-5 pot roll give you a good charm and is one of the earlier one you can load and only roll up to the number of that good one. Thereby save even more material,
(I.e. a 4 pot roll and attack 3 200 show up as 7th, load and meld 1pot +2 take the atk3 200 then save and re-set
So just quit and save? That will count as a reshuffle?
@@Agamerfr0zed it will cuz it works just like the meld 1 charm save and restart shown in the video.
@@aoflhs3885 That's great.
I concur. The game doesn't respect people's time. Why should we respect it's rules?
I tried that before the update 2.0 and that didn't work. The game automatically knew what to drop. It didn't matter how many times I reset it, the results at the end was the same.
yah before the 2.0 update that had bugged charm tables to begin with. luckily for us, it was fixed, and now it's possible.

Thanks bro 300 hours in lol thank you
No problem 👍
You should mention that this doesn't work anymore in the video title as to not waste people's time.
Instead, i started using the MH rise build calculator and it's crazy how many good sets you can make with suboptimal charms.
The difference between a set i made with a common charm and the most optimal set was 1 level less of attack boost. I can definitely live with that until i have access to Sunbreak's superior melding.
Yeah, i did it 3 times and “the future” was the same, let’s wait until Sunbreak for the optimal build
So this has changed now. Even after you upload you still get the same talismans
I've been taking a short break from Rise for the past three or four days. Mostly so I don't burn myself out from grinding. Like how I did pre-patch before knowing about that cursed charm table BS and wasting SO MANY HOURS GRINDING. 😭
But I also had to take a break so I could finish this final project for my JavaScript class I've been taking. I plan to get back on tomorrow, and when I do I'll definitely try this method of talisman farming.
Seems best to do more talismans at once for best results
So you jump tables everytime you quit/restart the game?
When you reset the table, do you have to use Wisp of Mystery for 1 talisman (150) or can you use Reflecting Pool for 1 talisman (10) ?
that's a really good question
You have to use the same table you want to hunt in. So sadly, if you are using Wisp of Mystery, you must do the random one in that category too.
Did this get patched?
You can still do all 10 slots to check the full seed of 50.
How often can you get a good charm from this method? Because I’d lowkey get bored doing this for hours lol
Amen!!!!!
When i try this method, i cant chill anymore, waste my time, but if you are a speed runner i think this might be helpful
its not scummy if everyone does it am I right guys???
I wouldn't consider it scummy in the slightest. Especially since a lot of us were unknowingly at the time; stuck in a cursed charm table with no way to get god-tier talismans.
