Morning. Surprisingly, this still works with pre-Sunbreak content, I don't exactly how far to an extent. To make a bench note, I'm currently on MR4 before fighting Seregios, so I don't have acces to late game story progression as of this post. I'll use my budget build for my CB as a base. 1) Save before Melding 2) Selecting "Wisp of Mystery," I made a batch of 5 Talismans using 2 MP Accelerant. Keep this in mind for later. 3) IF you don't get what you need, DO either Quit to Title or close the game WITHOUT SAVING. The RNG will still have that seed before you quit. Reload your save file. 4) This next step is simple, but can be tricky if done incorrectly. Let's use our base here as our formula. *The Quest Shuffle DOES change the RNG, but using only 1 Talisman to cycle will only output 1 'fresh' Talisman, thus changing the seed slightly, but you'll still have the Talismans from before you save after the Shuffle. Below is a control group based on my findings on experimenting with different combinations. Using our base, I yielded a batch of the following 10; [List from Top Down as 1-10; 'Skill # (Max lvl 3)'] *Wirebug Whisperer 1, Quick Sheath 1 *Geologist 1, Tremor Resistance 1 *Affinity Sliding 1, Defense Boost 1 *Punishing Draw 2, Sleep Attack 1 *Bombardier 2, Water Attack 1 *Fire Resistance 1, Defense Boost 1 *Dragon Attack 2, Heroics 1 *Speed Sharpening 2, Defense Boost 3 *Speed Eating 2, Stun Resistance 2 *Windproof 2, Evade Extender 1 5) After Melding 1 Talisman after the batch shown above & Shuffled, I took the 1, Save & Quit. The 1 I got post Shuffle was the first one; Wirebug & Quick Sheath. 6) Reload your Save. Meld "Wisp of Mystery" again with a batch of 5 Talismans using 2 MP Accelerant. Take a careful look at our yield. It's NEARLY the same batch as our base, but on the 10th position has changed. My Windproof & Evade Extender is now Position ##9. The new Talisman from this refresh a Poson Resistance 1, Bludgeoner 1 Talisman. Observations; Because we input 1 Talisman for the Shuffle, we output only 1 additional roll every refresh. BUT, if instead of 1, you can control 3-5+ new rolls, THEN Shuffle equal the amount of melds in queue. Quit WITHOUT saving. 7) Repeat Steps 5 & 6, but instead of outputting 1 Talisman, I output 4 more & Shuffle using "Wisp of Mystery." **After Shuffling, my output is now +4 in the RNG, meaning the base batch is moved a total of 5 Positions. Pay Careful of this next part. I take my new output, Save & Quit. 8) Looking at our base positions #6-10 have moved. Positions #1-5 have rotated out. Our new Positions #6-10 are as follows; *Slugger 2, Sleep Resistance 1 *Item Prolonger 2, Mushroomancer 1 *Water Attack 1, Carving Pro *Carving Pro, Partbreaker 1 Here's the Error I find in this method. Because that I input 10, output 1, using 2 MP Accelerant just for that 1 extra roll a position over, I'm losing more resources than what I put in at base. In my next Comment, I'll be conducting a live study with a me batch & compare methods.
FOLLOW UP STUDY I did a different way of Talisman RNG. The Methods are similar, though modified with the focus of a higher yield & utility. Take notes, please. 1) Save before Melding. This time, we'll start with a batch of 5 Talismans using 1 MP Accelerant to start our Seed. Heres my RNG as reference below; [Positions Top Down; 'Skill lvl 1-3'] *Recoil Down 1, Quick Sheath 1 *Stamina Surge 1 *Fortify, Critical Boost 1 *Blight Resistance 1, Sleep Resistance 1 *Fire Resistance 2, Quick Sheath 1 2) Take the base batch & Quit WITHOUT saving. Reload your Save. 3) {MODIFICATIONS BEGIN} Meld your Talismans, but create 1 Talisman on each Queue. The layout should look like this based on my RNG Queue; "Wisp of Mystery" x5, NEVER use MP Accelerant. *) 1 Talisman *) 1 Talisman *) 1 Talisman *) 1 Talisman *) 1 Talisman 4) Go to Arlow/Utsushi (Arena). Select Master Rank 2; Garangolm. Select Heavy Bowgun (Only 1 Gunner Class out 5. Gunners have lower physical defense versus Blademaster Classes). Fail the Quest. This is known as "Shuffling." If anyone is familiar with Yu-Gi-Oh, take this analogy. Do this 5 times to complete the Talisman Queue, as if you're 'Drawing' a new hand of cards after Shuffling your Deck. 5) After you Shuffle 5 times, SAVE before Melding. Don't quit to Title yet. 6) Meld "Wisp of Mystery" a new batch of 5 Talismans using 1 MP Accelerant. Here's the new list based on my RNG below. *Divine Blessing 1, Master Mounted *Water Attack 2, Wide-Range 1 *Quick Sheathe 2, Counterstrike 1 *Wall Runner 2, Defense Boost 1 *Punishing Draw 3, Tremor Resistance 1 7) This last step is more further controlling our RNG a little more, but a smaller scale, less room for error. With this new Yield, you have 2 Options; [] IF you got what you need, Save. IF you got a bad batch, Quit to Title WITHOUT Saving. Repeat Steps 1-7 before final Confirmation Observations: With this alternate method, Inputting 5 to output 5 while Reloading 1 time, but manually cycling 5 single Talismans in Queue to move 5 Positions over, basically we land at a net neutral. With understanding the previous Method, you're reloading more than twice while havibg a high input to low output, but only moving 1 Position over the RNG, again you're losing a LOT more than what you work to get for a 1 extra versus 5+. Conclusion: This is a more flexible way to get your ideal Yield without risking too much investment while having more control over the volume of yield at a safer angle. My next comment, I will reset my Cohoot Nest, Argosy & Meowcenaries with the same control Method here using our new Yield. I'll also document this next study's total amount of Resources Spent in each Facility PER FULL RNG CYCLE BEFORE STARTING A CHAIN CYCLE.
FINAL STUDY We'll use the alternate Method from the FOLLOW UP, but now we use the Cohoot Nest, Argosy & Meowcenaries for 5 Rounds TOGETHER. Like before, I had a bad batch, so I Meld 5 SINGULAR Talismans. Before I Shuffle, I Reset my Facilities listed below. Reload my Save & Meld "Wisp of Mystery" a new batch of 5 Talismans using 1 MP Accelerant. I've now got 5 NEW Talismans, below is my RNG. *) Rapid Morph 1, Wall Runner 2 *) Stun Resistance 1, Bubbly Dance 2 *) Evade Extender 1, Leap of Faith *) Thunder Attack, Reload Speed 1 *) Geologist 1, Load Shells 1 Observations; Using this Method of RNG casting in combination of Facilities, We're able to stay Neutral or gain more Returns than initially invested at Base. This has potential to go large-scale, but you risk more possible losses the higher the Volume & Resources Spent vs gained, meaning you take more trips to acquire funds & Resources. The reason why Melding 5 SINGULAR Talismans vs 5 in one Burst, is you're using Argosy, Meowcenaries & Cohoot Nest. These Facilities take 5 Quests exactly to complete a full RNG Cycle for a batch of 5 Talismans. However, with this one batch, you get at least x1 Rarity 7 Talisman, meaning you get a mild result each Cycle, while everything else in that batch has just as bad a chance of lower rolls that can give a god roll. Final Thoughts; This was an interesting find I took myself to make. I like the RNG of the Talisman System back in the traditional formula for Monster Hunter over the RNG of Decorations first seen in World/Iceborne. Although, this does open up new possibilities that these systems could coexist if done right while being fair with RNG. Worst case, you're gambling to overspending your assets on a single item type over a period of time when you have a better chance, statistically, getting armor & decorations to budget a build that's functional. There are speedrunners who TA without God Rolls or flat out not using Talismans as an additional difficulty adjustment. At the end of that day, both the abilities of your loadouts & the game sense of the players are what makes or breaks the game experience, skill or luck. I hope this info is helpful with the video author's publication of the process. I'm proving my criticism, commentary & live demonstration of events documented in my comment posts to anyone seeking out additional education about Monster Hunter in depth. I play exclusively Charge Blade across 4 Titles since 4U, clocked over 3500+ hours & Quested over 2000+ times with Charge Blade in my hunting career. I'm no expert by any imagination. I really enjoy the franchise & love the jack of trades powerhouse that is the Charge Blade. I sever tails as additional effort & have a wildcard playstile when around other players. My favourite thing playing Charge Blade is I get to dunk on Monsters, with my best dunk was Crimson Fatalis on 4U as I got a really lucky stun on it as it flew up to its meteor shower AoE in a solo hunt.
Quick Tips to MUST know for glitch at end: (I did this last night) If you want a talisman but rest are bad. Hypothetically if it’s 5th in the 1rst row of return box when u exit out to craft the batch prior to arena create 5 talismans to get that one when u return. If it’s further let’s say 7th in the row instant meld 5 then reg meld 2 & head to the arena. Also check cohoot nest after 4 arenas Check argosy for rare ore trade, Check meow-cenaries Best to Save melding pudding, wait til MR 6 so you can unlock anima melding. (Rarity 8,9,10) (Plz upvote so others can see)
I don't know if it's said in the video but if you got a good talisman during the initial phase AND you're pretty low on mats and wanna save them, quit regardless, load your game back up then meld up to that spot then claim it. Example: You melded 20 talismans in one run and a good talisman appeared in the 13th slot, quit without saving, start your save file again then meld 13 talismans (you can even just do the arena thing to progress the melding and save up on MP Accelerants). This way, you can still save a few mats while still getting your talisman.
With backroom deals the argosy will fill up much faster, so check it every two or three hunts, those extra mats don't replace your target, they're a bonus.
i just want to add you can exploit the amiibos by setting the date ahead, quitting to the title and logging back in. you have to use the 6 MHR specific amiibos to maximize profits. the magnamalo and malzeno amiibos alternate between melding and armor charms rewards. cats give you outfit tickets, dogs give you atk and def drinks etc. you can rack it melding materials very quickly. doesn’t take long to do and resetting to title is pretty quick. don’t know if any videos out there have this method. i don’t use youtube often. if you like this method please make a video on it and share with others. thx
wanted to add a correction, malzeno is the only one that gives melding stuff, so if you want you could just scan him save and reset, but if you use other amiibos you can get the bonus gold and silver balls that sometimes give extra melding stuff
I'll stop lurking for a moment to say thanks for the guide. Hopefully I can stop trying to make no charm builds due to my terrible luck. Happy hunting!
I always recommend finding where the scale lizards on map (unsure on Jungle) and hitting those 3 times for even more parts. Depending on their location, taking dango summoner so they basically always spawn may be worth for the 3 parts every time.
Does anyone know if you can use the lower-tier melding to reset the talismans for high-tier melding? Edit: in case anyone else was wondering, no. You have to meld the same tier.
With the new sniff em out command for a palamute if you run one shows them on the normal minimal as golden dots. I usually use it to just show the puppet and Marinette spiders.
why is it needed to make an "arena shuffle"? going on an expedition and returning from quest also progresses the melding, meowcenaries, etc by 1 quest. wouldnt it be faster that way?
Tried this out yesterday for the first time, but from a different source, which suggested quitting the game entirely. Which made the process take much longer, so it's good to know that just title screen works. One thing that I noticed and why I stopped after one try yesterday in frustration: The autosave setting seems to turn itself back on. Turned it off at the start, saved, did all the steps and when I wanted to restart at step 1 autosave was back on somehow.
@@ichika-matsuoka Yeah, I presumed I fucked that up at some point and did it without knowing. Doesn't really matter now, even after getting the process going I found it so insanely unfun, that I just kinda gave up on trying to get good talismans. Got my Scorned Kill, so for what it's worth, I'll just consider it "done" for now and occasionally come back for new monsters, I guess.
I've had a wex2 attack 2 charm since the first month of base game and for some reason, even today, I've never gotten one better. Just a god roll right out the gate. Maybe this'll change it thanks so much :)
yup, nothing changed for patches or anything. I would go early build, into my vampire build, and that should set you up for lot of the stuff after mr5 nicely :) if you mean LS anyways. I suppose you can do similar build with switch axe, just replace quick sheath with rapid morph.
Hmm in world i remember you could also save on mats by doing quests between batches, it was like incrementing the list by 1, then 1, then 2. Then back to 1-1-2. I wonder if this is also possible in sunbreak
I've done this method since Rise and always worked. Now, I have updated my game to the latest update where we get a couple of rare subspecies in sunbreak and went to do this method to see if it works and it didn't. I thought I did something wrong but doubted it cuz I've always done the method just fine, anyways I came here to check and follow the steps carefully and the arena shuffle is not working, I am still getting the same talismans with only 1 new talisman (the single 1 we meld before returning to title screen while saving). I don't wanna say it is certain but I think this method has finally been patched.
Do I have to have mp accelerant for this work? Every time I go back to main menu and come back my melds are complete from before. I'm making sure to not save also
I'm confused, what makes the two new melding methods better (Anima and Reincarnation)? Are the chances of getting a good charm actually higher or is it just new possible skills and a lvl4 slot?
They're probably the same. Anima just gets you better talismans when compared to high rank talismans, and reincarnation just lets you sacrifice 10 anima talismans that you don't need and receive 3 new ones.
oh sure, but with silkbind attacks its pretty easy, but guess depends on wpn. sakura slash if all hits hit a weakzone = insta mount. otherwise 2 sakuras will do the trick, for LS. SA soaring wyvern is fast mount. gs...adamant? idk lol spider i guess
You HAVE to return to title screen the second time to save? maybe im missing something? couldnt you just save in the start menu > system > save priogress?
it works the same as base rise which I believe you had to return, for some reason. i tried it once and my charms were the same, after saving once without title. altho you can easily try since there's no risk anyhow with the save
@@PWARGaming In the video it looked like you were able to untarget the monster but the video was sped up so I was mistaken. It is something I would love to have added to the game. Currently no keybind or anything to switch targets or untarget while wyvern riding.
@@4robinsona never saved after the batch, always saved after the single one and still the single one always appears to be not matching up with the first talisman from the batch
@@Noobieliciouz Well you are clearly doing something wrong. After the batch meld, did you return to title screen without saving? After the single meld, did you save and then return to title screen? Very important you do that.
I'm sporting a lvl2 quick sheathe and 2-2-0, I'm not gonna change it for a while, but save scumming is literally charm modding with extra steps, just mod your god charm and skip losing time wiping in arena and just play the game
@@obi-wan3916 Because it's pure RNG without any incremental progress or skill input. There is no reason not to skip it. The whole charm creation system is a travesty and everyone involved in it's design should be ashamed of themselves.
Curious how the odds compare to wisp of mystery. Also can you really only get 4 slot with no others? That'd be worse than 321 or 221 which would be sad.
@@diveblock2058 I guess a 4 slot would be better than 311 for S or A. I like B and C skills on charm so I can get 321 and can even get the skills at level 3 (like EvExt3, Const3 321).
@@bdhdr4226 ye I say it depends on the build but with the new +4 decorations you can get like evade extender or constitution with 2 lvls pluse two A or S rank skills
@@telancetan8500 steam has better graphics and fps but switch is portable, go with you enjoy the most since the content is the same for both (just remember there is NO cross save neither cross play)
Meh the hours i sink into any monster hunter is not something I “HAVE” to do. Degrees don’t see it as a CHORE to kill monsters for materials lol the game is called monster hunter…im surprised that people actually rinse and repeat this, suck the fun right out of the game. Just hunt what you want when u want, the materials will come naturally
this is the one i used before, but they updated it. I'm pretty sure its exactly the same, minus the new skills, and subtract lv4 slot. like the best slots on a wex 2 charm for example is still 3-1-1.
there's always a chance with the updates. I think they introduced new decos that way, iirc crit boost wasn't in base rise as a deco, till we got valstrax update or something
it got patched, so not anymore. but pc can mod/cheat in perfect charms via charm editor on nexus mods, so there's kind of no point, if you're okay with modding them in.
Not gonna lie, but getting a really good talisman is really not worth the time xD better to play the game normally and if you get something good then good, if not, well, it's not like your gonna be hunting monsters 10 min faster or anything, barely will make a difference.
The jungle map is just ridiculous. Fought Espinas there twice and BOTH times BOTH other monsters piled onto the same zone within 5 minutes. It's just absurd. I hate wyvernriding. And it all feels so forced. Like when you walk into an area with 2 monsters and they're just chilling - until they see YOU and then suddenly they want to kill EACH OTHER. Come on! What the hell game! You were so close to an immersive experience but all this drags me right out of it instantly. Gah.
it is a bit of a clusterfuck. you do have the option to turn it off, wyvern riding, but yah monsters auto ignoring you whenever another mon enters the zone gets a bit tiring immersion wise. but hey free dmg, soooo
depends on build. general use, wex 2 + whatever + 3-x-x slot is usually universal. hard to get. quick sheath 2, 2-2- slot is fairly easy tho. or qs3, 2-3 slot charm will do for future budget builds. i suspect a lot of builds to minmax with chain crit however, or coalesence for charm. Since as far as i know/unlocked, there's no decos of those.
I recently got a chain crit lv2 with 2 lvl 1 decos( was TRYING to get an Attack boost lv2 Counterstrike lvl 2 with 2 lv2 slots. Gave up on getting it because it was rare 7...) . In Garangolm armor set, you may want Coalesce lv2 quick sheath lv2 with 2 lv2 slots and 1 lv1 slot (or crit element lv2 good luck lv2 with a lvl3 slot and lvl2 slot...if you NEED one.) I'm currently still melding for MIRACLE god charms...I'm not sure if I did this right...@Brian Quintana.

After the RNG Refresh, Save & Quit to Title. Reload my Save & Meld "Wisp of Mystery" a new batch of 5 Talismans using 1 MP Accelerant.
I've now got 5 NEW Talismans, below is my RNG.
*) Rapid Morph 1, Wall Runner 2
*) Stun Resistance 1, Bubbly Dance 2
*) Evade Extender 1, Leap of Faith
*) Thunder Attack, Reload Speed 1
*) Geologist 1, Load Shells 1
Observations; Using this Method of RNG casting in combination of Facilities, We're able to stay Neutral or gain more Returns than initially invested at Base.
Quick Tips to MUST know for glitch at end: (I did this last night)
If you want a talisman but rest are bad. Hypothetically if it’s 5th in the 1rst row of return box when u exit out to craft the batch prior to arena create 5 talismans to get that one when u return. If it’s further let’s say 7th in the row instant meld 5 then reg meld 2 & head to the arena.
Also check cohoot nest after 4 arenas
Check argosy for rare ore trade,
Check meow-cenaries
Best to Save melding pudding, wait til MR 6 so you can unlock anima melding.
(Rarity 8,9,10)
(Plz upvote so others can see)
I don't know if it's said in the video but if you got a good talisman during the initial phase AND you're pretty low on mats and wanna save them, quit regardless, load your game back up then meld up to that spot then claim it.
For the riding method, you can grab a puppet spider to get an instant mount for faster farming.
Ahh yes. Charm farming. Otherwise known as crack
more like meth, least you can be productive on crack
With backroom deals the argosy will fill up much faster, so check it every two or three hunts, those extra mats don't replace your target, they're a bonus.
How to do the backroom deals? I cannot find it :( currently MR 32
i just want to add you can exploit the amiibos by setting the date ahead, quitting to the title and logging back in. you have to use the 6 MHR specific amiibos to maximize profits. the magnamalo and malzeno amiibos alternate between melding and armor charms rewards. cats give you outfit tickets, dogs give you atk and def drinks etc. you can rack it melding materials very quickly. doesn’t take long to do and resetting to title is pretty quick. don’t know if any videos out there have this method. i don’t use youtube often. if you like this method please make a video on it and share with others. thx
wanted to add a correction, malzeno is the only one that gives melding stuff, so if you want you could just scan him save and reset, but if you use other amiibos you can get the bonus gold and silver balls that sometimes give extra melding stuff
Man, why couldn't we have the bully bradchy with piercing siege mode charm farm method in this game too
I'll stop lurking for a moment to say thanks for the guide. Hopefully I can stop trying to make no charm builds due to my terrible luck. Happy hunting!
I always recommend finding where the scale lizards on map (unsure on Jungle) and hitting those 3 times for even more parts. Depending on their location, taking dango summoner so they basically always spawn may be worth for the 3 parts every time.
thanks a bunch! I was looking for that charm combo spreadsheet. I was curious to see what are the best possible charms in Sunbreak.
I have been doing that every hunt in multi, pretty good.
why is it needed to make an "arena shuffle"? going on an expedition and returning from quest also progresses the melding, meowcenaries, etc by 1 quest. wouldnt it be faster that way?
Tried this out yesterday for the first time, but from a different source, which suggested quitting the game entirely. Which made the process take much longer, so it's good to know that just title screen works.
One thing that I noticed and why I stopped after one try yesterday in frustration: The autosave setting seems to turn itself back on. Turned it off at the start, saved, did all the steps and when I wanted to restart at step 1 autosave was back on somehow.
You need to save after turning auto-save off. I personally always play with auto-save off and it never turned back on, that shouldn't happen.
Best advice here is to turn off autosave anyways. You can't interact with ppl while the game is mid autosaving and it does it so often its annoying
i heard it also slows down npc dialogues since it autosaves after every speech bubble or whatever. i assume on switch this is annoying due to no ssd.
@@PWARGaming I play on switch and never had an issue with this. The PC port is pretty bad tho, lots of issues that the switch doesn't have.
Remember guys, if you arent gonna use your high rank materials for melding then they have officially become your personal bank
Sell sell sell baby
It's probably less material efficient, but would the savescum method also work for Reincarnation?
Thanks for going through the method step by step!
no problem :)
it dose not matter I see so many people just cheat in charms Thanks for the guide it was helpful
Awesome guide bro.
Awesome video.. just got the game on pc . Can your early build video from before can still be used?
yup, nothing changed for patches or anything. I would go early build, into my vampire build, and that should set you up for lot of the stuff after mr5 nicely :) if you mean LS anyways. I suppose you can do similar build with switch axe, just replace quick sheath with rapid morph.
@@PWARGaming awesome thanks I'm probably sticking with the insect glaive it's the only thing I'm good with 🤣
Hmm in world i remember you could also save on mats by doing quests between batches, it was like incrementing the list by 1, then 1, then 2. Then back to 1-1-2. I wonder if this is also possible in sunbreak
Did they just patch that out yesterday? Im pretty sure, i got this to work two times before now; i always get the same talismans...
MP acceleration is quite helpful if you want to save a few minutes
Quick question why don't just do gathering quest and complete immediately?
I've done this method since Rise and always worked. Now, I have updated my game to the latest update where we get a couple of rare subspecies in sunbreak and went to do this method to see if it works and it didn't. I thought I did something wrong but doubted it cuz I've always done the method just fine, anyways I came here to check and follow the steps carefully and the arena shuffle is not working, I am still getting the same talismans with only 1 new talisman (the single 1 we meld before returning to title screen while saving).
I don't wanna say it is certain but I think this method has finally been patched.
It’s not working for me either
Same here it doesnt reshuffle talismans for me
How does your game look so good? What setting do you use
PC and good specs I'm guessing
Can this be done with reincarnation?
I thought that narwa parts are better for charm farming
Do I have to have mp accelerant for this work? Every time I go back to main menu and come back my melds are complete from before. I'm making sure to not save also
I'm confused, what makes the two new melding methods better (Anima and Reincarnation)? Are the chances of getting a good charm actually higher or is it just new possible skills and a lvl4 slot?
They're probably the same. Anima just gets you better talismans when compared to high rank talismans, and reincarnation just lets you sacrifice 10 anima talismans that you don't need and receive 3 new ones.
Did they patch this already? Dunno if this is still active
Cant you use the Spider for Insta Mount? i mean there is one next to the golden wirebug next to the main camp?
oh sure, but with silkbind attacks its pretty easy, but guess depends on wpn. sakura slash if all hits hit a weakzone = insta mount. otherwise 2 sakuras will do the trick, for LS. SA soaring wyvern is fast mount. gs...adamant? idk lol spider i guess
I did this for hours in Rise and without it I would never got the couple decent ones I have !! Hope rng jesus will bless me this time ;>
fr fr. i've reset about a dozen times already and most of its garbage with 5 slots per try lol still no chain crit/foray/coalesence 2-2 slot
Could be the case that the randomizer seed is only updated once you load in from the title screen
Honestly, I can't be mad at people cheating charms, I get it.
😟
but this more fun than cheat
how do you untarget stuff while mounted? the auto target thing is really obnoxious.
i'm not sure, it is annoying. you just kinda force run in the direction you're gonna go and it'll unlock eventually. idk if there's a setting tho
@@PWARGaming In the video it looked like you were able to untarget the monster but the video was sped up so I was mistaken. It is something I would love to have added to the game. Currently no keybind or anything to switch targets or untarget while wyvern riding.
Did this get patched or something?
This method doesn't seem to work, for me at least, on the switch
Does anyone have other experience with it on switch? Really wish for it to work..
It dont work for me the talismans stay the same even if i do it step by step talismans dont change. I have tryed for hours to no end
It works. Just make sure you are doing each step correctly. Not saving when batch melding and saving after you meld one talisman is VERY important.
@@4robinsona i correct miself i was skipping one step. It does work.
Meanwhile my friends just mods in the god talismans while I try to earn in legit…
Step 1, charm mod editor, step 2 enjoy your charm without save scumming for hours/days/weeks
exactly!
Why even both when it's so easy atm even with suboptimal build
I'm sporting a lvl2 quick sheathe and 2-2-0, I'm not gonna change it for a while, but save scumming is literally charm modding with extra steps, just mod your god charm and skip losing time wiping in arena and just play the game
@@obi-wan3916 Because it's pure RNG without any incremental progress or skill input. There is no reason not to skip it.
The whole charm creation system is a travesty and everyone involved in it's design should be ashamed of themselves.
@@murphyslaw3483 so like the deco system from world?
Curious how the odds compare to wisp of mystery. Also can you really only get 4 slot with no others? That'd be worse than 321 or 221 which would be sad.
that would be the case but you can get a 4 slot on two S skills so its rly good for meta talismans
@@diveblock2058 I guess a 4 slot would be better than 311 for S or A. I like B and C skills on charm so I can get 321 and can even get the skills at level 3 (like EvExt3, Const3 321).
@@bdhdr4226 ye I say it depends on the build but with the new +4 decorations you can get like evade extender or constitution with 2 lvls pluse two A or S rank skills
the max possible legit slots are 4-2-1, it is from the google doc on charm editor mod on Nexus
@@DuyPham-tp7tu what level of skills can you get a 4-2-1 max I got was 4-1-1
Is it too late to start playing rise now?
Nah.
@@KrimCoin start now won't miss anything? Is there like event quest rotate weekly like mhwi?
@@telancetan8500 Nope. All Event Quests are permanent. There is no rotating event quests in Rise.

@@telancetan8500 steam has better graphics and fps but switch is portable, go with you enjoy the most since the content is the same for both (just remember there is NO cross save neither cross play)
can you shuffle by melding a highrank charm instead?
I haven't tested, but that could save you a few materials over time if so.
@@PWARGaming I tried it and it didn't seem to work unfortunately
Does this still work on current patch? Been doing this offline for about a day.
sadly it does not
@@muro_mayo4134 Actually I've figured out it does still work.
@@YamishiMizuandDracus oh shit, maybe I did it wrong? Did you just follow the video then?
Does it work?
Meh the hours i sink into any monster hunter is not something I “HAVE” to do. Degrees don’t see it as a CHORE to kill monsters for materials lol the game is called monster hunter…im surprised that people actually rinse and repeat this, suck the fun right out of the game. Just hunt what you want when u want, the materials will come naturally
Is there a spreadsheet for base rise charms???
this is the one i used before, but they updated it. I'm pretty sure its exactly the same, minus the new skills, and subtract lv4 slot. like the best slots on a wex 2 charm for example is still 3-1-1.
@@PWARGaming ah I understand thanks for clearing that up
Shame we can't get bloodright on charms but then again it is a super good skill
there's always a chance with the updates. I think they introduced new decos that way, iirc crit boost wasn't in base rise as a deco, till we got valstrax update or something
@@PWARGaming this was also the case for some other really good decos like Masters touch.
is this works on PC?
it got patched, so not anymore. but pc can mod/cheat in perfect charms via charm editor on nexus mods, so there's kind of no point, if you're okay with modding them in.
Yea, this is too much work. Gonna fire up a trainer instead.
Not gonna lie, but getting a really good talisman is really not worth the time xD better to play the game normally and if you get something good then good, if not, well, it's not like your gonna be hunting monsters 10 min faster or anything, barely will make a difference.
I keep getting the same rolls even though i did everything right
Its patched. Read the first comments
Anyone found a way to turn off wyvern riding?
ive been trying to find info on this as well. DIdn't they show in a trailer or something that it could be disabled on attack?
You can disable wyverm riding by attack in the settings.
@@barrakuda17009 options>controls>"buttons for wyvern riding" set it to "A (weapon sheathed)"
Go to your settings, you can change it to "press a when weapon is sheathed"
Omg thanks everyone. I've looked over that setting so many times
I was hoping for a new endgame but this is fine I guess...
Indeed lol so basically charms again.... And afflicted mats for stronger weapons and outfit vouchers... It isn't that bad but could be better lol rofl
Better that than missing wyvern riding chances because the monsters had a turf war while you were on the other side of the map 🤷♂️
why are you saying argosy like that lmao. its ar-ge-sy not ar-go!-si
To much effort for this xD i just play it the normal way. Good video tho.
If you're gonna save scum, you might as well just mod the charm you want into the game.
well the majority of players are on switch so they don't have that option, so this is for them mainly.
Call me stupid but though I won't outright modify a game to cheat, I will abuse an in-game exploit. Surely there are others like me.
The savescum method is too tedious, I'd rather just play the game
it saves you so much materials tho. once you do it for a bit you will realize how hard it is to get a good charm
@@tmac1g I'll just get lucky hopefully

What is the best charm i should try yo get for LS?
depends on build. general use, wex 2 + whatever + 3-x-x slot is usually universal. hard to get. quick sheath 2, 2-2- slot is fairly easy tho. or qs3, 2-3 slot charm will do for future budget builds. i suspect a lot of builds to minmax with chain crit however, or coalesence for charm.
