Thank you from WV. I enjoyed your video . I found you because I am looking for a pb ball recipe and I plan to make these tomorrow. Merry Christmas and thank you so much for sharing your recipes.
I use a lot less wax but have also been making these for years. They are very good. This year I found peanut butter Oreos which I used to make truffles. I crushed them in the food processor with cream cheese, peanut butter, a little butter and some powdered sugar. I dipped them in dark chocolate. They turned out fantastic! I need to find that tool you are using.
Oh my gosh that sounds so good. I’ll have to check into that. And I’ll see if I can find one and link it. I honestly didn’t even think about trying to link that so thank you for reminding me. But it makes it easier.
@@boriquaqueen520 Crush one pack of peanut butter Oreos in the food processor, pulse in an 8 ounce block of cream cheese. At this point the original recipe has you stop adding anything and use this dough to roll up the truffles and dip them in chocolate. If you refrigerate the dough first it's easier to work with. I added 2 or 3 heaping spoons of Jiff peanut butter, a couple of tablespoons of softened butter and probably close to a cup of powdered sugar before I pulsed the dough. It was stickier but was workable after being in the refrigerator. They turned out perfect! Next year I might try some other Oreo flavors. Hope this helps!
Oh my gosh that really sounds good! Idk if I’ve seen PB Oreo’s. I thought you were talking about the original. Now I make some that are the original with the cream cheese dipped in chocolate or candy melts. Thank you for sharing.
My husband loves peanut butter balls, and I didn't know it until I mentioned your video, thank you! :) By the way, I like your shirt a lot - God bless you!
Have you ever tried coconut oil instead of the wax? It would be better for you and a really good taste! Thank you for sharing! I enjoyed watching your channel.
Yes ma’am. I actually have and I do agree it tastes really good and coconut oil is very healthy. But for me I guess I like or I’m use to a more crisp “like” chocolate. And not so much a soft chocolate. But I do appreciate your comment. Merry Christmas 🎄 ❤️
@sharonmayeaux3284 no worries. I’m actually getting ready to release a new candy video tonight or tomorrow and I do use the chocolate chips and coconut oil. 🥰
lol I think it looks like it’s a lot more than it really is on the video. But as long as it’s the food grade paraffin wax, it’s just goes straight through you. Don’t hurt but not beneficial either 😉
By mixing it with my hands I know when it feels right. I'd have to put it in my hand to roll the balls, so my thoughts its no different. I just make sure my rings are off, and hands are very clean lol.
Yes that is true. It will certainly help thin out the chocolate, it just makes the chocolate stay softer than what I prefer once set. But it does give the chocolate a good flavor to me. Thank you for your comment. Merry Christmas 🎄
Oh wow in your Peanut Butter balls? I bet that is really good. Years ago I use to make some candy with butter, cream cheese and I want to think dry jello trying to mimic the flavored creams like Russell Stover. They were pretty good, not as good but pretty good. I may have to try that again.
It is in the description box. Just hit more than it should open up the entire box. Then scroll down and it’s I think after the first paragraph. If you don’t sent just let me know.
You might want to raise your overhead camera up a little higher. My sister-n-law makes these for Christmas every year so I have never had to make them. I may try it some time though. I make other candies for Christmas.
Thank you, I know it's a little close, I hope to get a better stand soon for my camera, but I appreciate your feedback. I love all kinds of candy at Christmas time, I bet yours and your sister-n-law's are good.
Well since it was for my family and I’m a germaphobe so my hands stay clean well as much as possible I wasn’t worried about gloves. And yeah you could do a hand mixer but you can feel that consistency you need with a mixer like you can your hands. Kinda like with meatloaf. Plus it’s fun mushing the peanut butter and butter together. lol 😉
lol. Over my years of watching TH-cam I have found there is a team pro-music and a team that is opposed to music. To me I think it helps fill in the gaps and hopefully overrides if my mouth accidentally smacks (I hate that sound) but I do try to turn it as low as possible for the team opposed to music. Hopefully you can still like me. 😁

Your peanut butter Oreo truffles sound delicious. Can you give me the measurements of each ingredient?

I was looking for an easy peanut butter recipe! This one is EXCELLENT! Thank You and yes, I subscribed! Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones 🎄
Wonderful. I’m glad this will help you. Merry Christmas 🎄
They are really good
Thank you. 😘
Make a dipping tool by breaking off the middle two tines of a plastic fork. It lets the chocolate drip off more quickly and easily with less mess.
That’s smart. Never thought about that. I’ve only used toothpicks or the tool in this video. Thanks for the tip. 🩷
This is how I have made Pnutbutter Balls for years. Love these.
Thank you. I love pb balls. My girls and my oldest niece they ask ealry in Dec. usually, when am I gonna make them haha.

Aww thank you. Maybe you’ll be able to make him some. Lol. And the shirt I actually made that so thank you very much. 🥰
These sound so good
Thank you. 🥰

Might as well eat a candle 😆

I’m gonna try these, but you can keep the wax, thank you!❤
Hahaha. That’s ok. It’s not everyone’s thing. I hope you like the PB filling. Merry Christmas 🎄
Why don’t you use a hand mixer? Just curious!

same amount of solid coconut oil can replace the Gulf Wax-- I am not opposed to Gulf Wax, but it an alternative is always good to have

I also put cream cheese in mine
