Is the call quality good? What microphone does it use? Also is the GPS accurate? Can you run the app GPS test and see how many satelites are you locking to, how fast and how many meters is the accuracy? I had a terrible experience with an android unit on my previous car and i returned it in 2 days because the GPS accuracy was 50 meters (!) and the external mic was so bad that no one could here me well in a phone call.
Im using the built in mic on it, well my wife is, and when she calls me i have no issue on hearing her, dasaita told me that they got an upgraded external mic but i did not installed it, i’m planning on testing it on soon, i made a video regarding gps test, the dasaita is getting 10meters accuracy indoors using the toyota built in gps antenna satellites connection is more stable compared to the 10m accuracy of the included gps antenna.
Nice video! Does it show the 360 bird view when you drive forward less than 5mph? (Like when pulling into a parking spot) And how quickly does backup cam turn on when you start the car and go into reverse? Thanks and keep up the good videos!
Thank you for watching, unfortunately I don’t have factory 360 camera on my car, in regards to starting the car and go into reverse immediately I haven’t tried yet, because i start the car, open the garage door, adjust the seat and mirrors first before reversing, because my wife is the one using it 99% of the time, but she’s not complaining anything about it.
When you put it in reverse, does it show factory rear camera? When you press View button to left of steering wheel, does it show the stock aerial camera view? A follow up review after a few months of use would be great. I suspect it will have annoying “features” that make it no better than stock.
@@Forged_Garage when you connected your phone with the wire, were you able to get sound? I keep connecting my phone with a wire, then I click on the 'mirroring' but no sound.
@cristophermartinez7197 not that i notice, i only tried to do mirroring once doing this video, i will check it when the rav is here, my wife is the one using it and sometimes leaves it at her work place.
Yes, you can set it up from settings, but mine opens up automatically even before i discover the settings for it to automatically open up. I have to check in the morning. How to do it
@Forged_Garage wow thanks for the quick reply! That is really good the hear. What about the mic? I heard it isn't the best? If this is true, is it perhaps possible to buy an aftermarket mic and plug it into the headunit? I assume most mics are compatible (like powerdewise).
Yeah, but we’re not supposed to be watching and driving, this size is discrete enough not to get the attention of the authorities if they happened to be driving beside you.
For driving safety, we do not allow watching videos while driving by default, but you can set it to allow in the settings and watch it on a large screen
Great video again! Very much considering this headunit

Yes factory reverse camera works perfect, I don’t have the view button on my rav4 so i cannot answer your other question.
Bluetooth call are good? Any noise ou bad quality?
Yes, no issues when i test it, sometimes my wife calls me when she’s driving it and i can hear her perfectly
I have the same unit on my 4Runner and it's great. However, do you get a light static noise when using CarPlay?
I don’t get any static noise
@@Forged_Garagedid you ground the unit?
@cristophermartinez7197 no, not this time because the unit comes in and out of the vehicle, coz im testing other headunit.

Which do you like better, this or the roadanvi ? Looking to upgrade . Thanks
I like the dasaita, better specs than the roadanvi.
@@Forged_Garage wait, The roadanvi has better specs ? But you like the Daisaita better ? Why ? Please explain
😂 just a typo, i meant better specs than the roadanvi, it was the middle of the night when i replied 😂
@@Forged_Garage ahh ok haha got it
Thanks
Can this unit be set to automatically launch Apple CarPlay when the car is started?
Yes, you can set it up from settings, but mine opens up automatically even before i discover the settings for it to automatically open up. I have to check in the morning. How to do it
Would this unit work for a Rav4 2024
Unfortunately no.
Did you noticed a difference with the music with this headunit?
Oh yes, audio is way better

Can the Dasaita run 2ohm speakers stable?
Sorry, idk, i just run my stock door speakers with jbl 322f dash speakers
Our head unit supports aftermarket subwoofer/amplifier
oh video of youtube played is so small screen, its almost same as 9 inch original toyota screen...

get a real headunit
😂 its a nice headunit you should try it, feature wise, it’s better than the big brands on the market.
@@Forged_Garage good for you lol
Could you please suggest one very reliable (probably the best) for 2024 rav 4 pls?
