I just combed my locs out bc it was too heavy on my crown with stress made me have extreme thinning, so now my crown grew back and I retained length at MBL. I’m on a journey to Butt length too. I been protective styling and giving TLC and now close to waist length.. I’m enjoying my new natural hair journey.

Your hair is beautiful. I say leave the color it matches you. I am on a new hair growth journey I am an older lady so it is grey I don’t do color. Ive been wearing it natural and in protective styles I’ve been seeing some growth so we will see how it goes. I think I’m about bsl. What made you go to straight natural.

Hi your hair is gorgeous!! Anyways You may have addressed this in the video but when you showed the photo of you with butt length long black hair in 2021 during that time were you getting silk presses done at a salon every time or were you doing them at home at times?

Sounds like she was using developer only, not mixing with the bleach 😊 my stylist used to do it back in the day for my highlights. Nice video, beautiful hair!

I just watch this video and why you became a straight hair natural. I’m on the same page I been wearing curly hair but I keep getting breakage, taking forever to dry, experimenting with so products and lack of versatility with styles I’m over it. Anyway I’m bra strap length and I want to get a trim but the last stylists gave me cut. I was doing the once a year straightening and went to the salon and sis clipped me off good set me back. I know I can take care of my own straightening, and regimen.
What are you doing about your ends? Are you cutting them yourself or do you have a stylist? I’m trying figure out what to do.

Do you moisturize your hair with a oil?

I deep condition for moisture & I use oil or a hair serum like on my ends if my hair is feeling a bit dry :)
