Okay so I just tried this method on my hair. I am a true 4c all around. Had to sit under the dryer for 2 hours and slept in the rods which were very uncomfortable but can I just say, my hair looks so good. So proud of the way it turned out. Will be using these more often.

Question for anyone that can answer. How do you do a rod set and keep the curls from rolling back into bigger curls after separating. I literally have to separate through out the day just keep that naturally curly voluminous look. Is it just me or is constant separating necessary?

How long does my hair have to be to do this style? My hair is shoulder to breast length, maybe a bit longer. I also have the same hair type as you, but I'm worried my hair is to short and if I try it, it'll just be a waste of time. Also, do I necessarily have to blow dry/straighten my hair?

Just finished my first flexi rod ! I blowed dried my hair and used a mouse and automatically am already noticing frizz in my hair with the flexi rod 😣.

What is the foamy stuff you put in your hair before rolling, and why doesn't the hair kink up when damp?
It's mousse, and I want to say , she was under a dryer after she rolled it.
@tashahall4711 Yeah, it was mousse. My hair will kink up before I even finish rolling it. Wonder if shea butter would work with a little moisturizer cream or gel.
