Okay so I just tried this method on my hair. I am a true 4c all around. Had to sit under the dryer for 2 hours and slept in the rods which were very uncomfortable but can I just say, my hair looks so good. So proud of the way it turned out. Will be using these more often.
Girl I saw your videos a while ago when your hair was colored... You inspired me to try the flexi rods and after 2 failed attempts I can do them whenever I want...cuz I mastered the art of flexi rods...so thank you girl

I braid mine then add the perm rod.. I notice my fro and curls stretch better 💜 not have to worry about breakage.. I haven’t done a flexi rod set I’m may try it. Your hair looks beautiful

Question for anyone that can answer. How do you do a rod set and keep the curls from rolling back into bigger curls after separating. I literally have to separate through out the day just keep that naturally curly voluminous look. Is it just me or is constant separating necessary?
How long does my hair have to be to do this style? My hair is shoulder to breast length, maybe a bit longer. I also have the same hair type as you, but I'm worried my hair is to short and if I try it, it'll just be a waste of time. Also, do I necessarily have to blow dry/straighten my hair?
