This video in my series on the queer history of Germany describes the dynamic interactions between the women's movement and the sexological movement of the late 1800s and early 1900s and how these were influential in creating the conditions which allowed for the development of lesbian relationships and identities. It also covers the allyship which formed between the feminist movement and the homosexual emancipation movement.
