I laughed out loud when you got to the cup drawer! I thought you had been exaggerating - but no! I have recently found your channel and I am hooked. I love your personality! Keep up the good work and THANK YOU.

@@TheSecretSlob The struggle is real with adult travel mugs and water bottles here. Only problem is I need to clear a drawer or part of one so the bottles and mugs have a "home". Thanks for your videos, I am doing the 21 days plus the days of decluttering!

I have a super small kitchen. My microwave is on a cart, that has two shelves behind doors. Had issues finding covers to match containers. Took them all out, matching tops and bottoms, then using boxes, put round containers in one and lids to match in another, placing both on same shelf. Did the same with square/rectangular containers. Sure saves time. Oh, and got rid of the odd ones.

Spot on! I was chuckling when you spoke about children’s cups; my cupboard is overflowing with all kinds of cups and plastic water bottles. Lesson learnt from you: be ruthless and have a good clear out! Thank you for your brilliant video series.

Love you video's. Growing up in Tennessee my Mom would use old butter bowls to store left over's in. It was always an adventure to find the one that had the actual butter in it lol.

I sometimes use Tupperware without a lid as a container in any other part of the house, like organizers in a bathroom/bedroom drawers, also to store nails/hairpins or keys. But definitely some of them should just go away over time :)

I was going to say the same thing -- square or rectangular containers can make fabulous drawer organizers. But after you're done decluttering your whole house, then take unused ones to thrift shop.

my Tupperware "hack" is to buy a system. Like we have a cheaper system but about 20 boxes in 3 different sizes. You can totally stack them, and there are only 3 different lids. Pairs is not a problem anymore and they fit together nicely!

Excellent job! My, that was a lot of cups, but you did fantastic! 👍👏👏 Tupperware type stuff is both wonderful and evil. I have tried everything to keep Tupperware organized and it is impossible. Why is there always a mystery lid with no bottom? It's like socks that lose a mate in the laundry! The Nobel committee should have an award for whomever can solve these first-world problems. 😊

I Completely understand the Kid Cup problem!! She is reluctant to let go of them bc of having neighbor kids that come over and hang out! And I probably have 10 wooden spoons, all with different tips! Insane! I have 12 shelves period in my kitchen! It's a huge problem! No cupboard. And that's it for cooking utensils, pans, food containers, and lunch containers, plates and bowls which are kid and adult, food and bigger items like crock pot and Ninja stuff. It's a nightmare! I am going to have to get rid of every pan, baking wear, plate, bowl, cup, utensil and kid extras like popsicle making things etc! I have no choice having to use that little space for food and everything! I have more room in my kitchen for cabinets but the landlord doesn't have an ounce of empathy for the situation to be remedied I guess

Where do you live in Canada’s?

  • @lynnwells324

Love the show but no....our Canadian mothers talked about Tupperware drawers and they were filled with sticky plastic containers bought at their Tupperware parties in the 60s and 70s. Younger Canadians (you know, 50 and under) talk about our storage container drawer and I regret I haven't space for my zipper topped bags in mine.
Despite this quibble, I am following your videos and have a less crowded space because of your upbeat enthusiasm about cleaning and getting rid of possessions. Forgive me, must go shine my sink.
