Therefore, I thought I should subscribe as I have been spot selecting your videos of late. You are doing great! I decluttered my bathroom yesterday as I am keeping a day behind you so I can plan ahead. My bathroom basically just needs organized since I usually buy only what we need. No extras. Learned that from my early FlyLady days. Will try to declutter a drawer tonight or keep it for tomorrow. Thanks again! Go you!
Great job! I tend to keep cords, tho-- IDK if they go to something, or other ones will wear out. Or I'm just paranoid -- LOL. Since you have so much space in your hot spot area, have you considered clearing that countertop off the rest of the way? I love a cleared-off countertop, visually; plus it's so much easier to wipe down. I love all your space! You're so much fun to watch.

Thanks for the instructions. Finding you and Diane in Denmark to be very informative and encouraging. A suggestion for you which may not apply. Most men are taller than their wives... so if you have high cupboards/shelves that are uncomfortable reaches let his stuff go there. You put your stuff slightly lower (but not so low the kids can mess with it). During your initial junk draw organizing it seemed his stuff was very low and stuff you needed was barely within comfortable reach.
HOW DO YOU KNOW IF THE CORDS DON'T GO WITH SOMETHING!?! 🤣😳😩 That's one of my biggest feats. I can't part from them because I feel like I might run into whatever they go to... So we have a drawer with ones that most likely go to things in the house and then the rest go in a large tote with tv cables and extension cords.... Gonna have to declutter that thing soon!
I label all cords with a white marker. Try running around your house and matching up as many as you can, or as you declutter and come across things, go get the cord
Can you do a video on how to organize a paper filing system. Paper filing is our biggest problem! I just can't find a system/don't have enough creativity to create a system that actually works. Realistically, I'd like to have a small area on a table that organizes the papers by what mostly comes in. Then, I can pick one day a month to file each stack. I'd love to see how you do this.
Sammantha Combs I thought about attempting to use some sort of file or dividers in a basket and drop, bills, promotions, kids etc but I've not tried yet bc someone always just drags the mail in and throws it somewhere lol
I have junk drawers, junk closets, junk shelves, and then there is my husbands garage! He passed in September so it is still hard for me to declutter "HIS" things but I have started. I just finished the bathroom #1. It is now all my stuff and things I really use. Bathroom #2 is mostly his and will have to wait. Now I am going to pick a drawer and start. A little each day or whatever I can get through! Good luck on your closets! You've got this!
I don’t have junk drawers, only junk bins and used to have a junk cubby. Lol. But got the cubby sorted and have really reduced the junk bins in the past couple of months. Still have a ways to go though
Cubby is done though! Pick away at the bins a little every day and they will be done in no time! I also have a bin around occasionally when I have to tidy up really quick and just toss everything in a basket. It can be daunting to tackle it since everything is random in there! Tip for your McDonalds coupons. Keep m in your car! If you are like me you probably forget to take your coupons or end up at McD's spontaniously and won't have them with you. It annoyes the hell out of me when that happens. Love your channel btw...currently bingewatching all of them getting inspired and motivated to tackle my own home even more.

I started using a fine permanent pen and writing on the cord (end) what it goes to! Helped tremendously!
