She did a great job- BUT... I had cleaned rental properties waaaay before Airbnb was a glint in the investor's eyes. I wanted to let her know that you NEVER use fabuloso (with or without bleach) for floors other than tiles. You'll end up suing your cleaner for destroying hardwood floors, marble, luxury vinyl, and so much more. It makes a house smell amazing for hours, but you'll regret using it when it damages fixtures. Less is best when it comes to fixtures and flooring. Dawn dish soap is a professional cleaner's best friend that will avoid calling your insurance company to file a claim and a time-consuming lawsuit against the cleaner. Bleach in the right places (bathrooms) is good, but rubbing alcohol and peroxide do the same and have a low risk of leaving splatter marks. I get more brand new clients because an inexperienced cleaner took fabuloso to an expensive fixture, and they come to me unhappy! Just some food for thought for those new cleaners out there trying to start their own side hustle. There should be a disclaimer on that stuff, as it does more harm than any good to a house.

Glass Cleaner - I use e-cloth or Norwex glass cleaners. NO STREAKS, no chemicals needed. Simply rinse and use again. Saves TONS of time.

I’ve had bad luck with Fabulouso . It left the tile floors sticky and gave me a blinding headache so bad that I had to walk outside. The smell lasted in the rental house I was cleaning for days . I had left the Fabulouso in the cabinet at the rental house one day and a friend that was helping me clean used it . The stickiness never left the tile floor after that day . And the smell made me sick /get a blinding headache again. I had to toss it to keep anyone from using it there again. Just wanted to mention that because some guests might be sensitive to fragrance like I am . I used to use rubbing alcohol and peroxide to clean a lot of things . Peroxide gets grout white again. Thank you for the video. I’m getting back into cleaning and looking for a good rolling cart that holds everything and handles stairs . That’s hard to find . All the stair climbing carts are practically microscopic.

Kirkland brand anything is the way to go. I use Costco for everything. You can get all of that stuff you shared from Costco and I also get my Kirkland Brand K-Cups, Facial Wipes, TP, PT, gloves, toilet bowl cleaners, and dishwasher pods (Kirkland brand ftw again).
The one expensive addition I did make is to provide my cleaners with Clorox Germicidal Spray which is a hospital grade cleaning product. They use that and Lysol to disinfect surfaces and high touch areas.
Good call on the oven cleaner though. I need to pick something up.

I am an extreme couponer. Every item that Hayley pulled out of the cart, one-by-one, I thought to myself, "I can coupon that." Everything in the cart, including the same kind of Costco Kirkland-branded items, such as paper items and hand soap, can be acquired through local retailers for pennies on the dollar cash out-of-pocket. Sean, you are really gifted at maximizing revenues. I'm really good at going through expenses with a fine-tooth comb. We both know that creating a greater spread between revenues and expenses increases profit. Have you considered hiring an extreme couponer who could help lower your overall cleaning costs? This may be a worthwhile use of your resources.

All expenses for cleaning supplies are clearly tax deductible. Hiring an Extreme Couponer can be a grey zone in terms of an audit. And then you would have to deal with wrangling another human.

I'm a professional cleaner (mostly on apps like Turno now) and I agree with almost everything she said, especially Lysol. I just didn't have a good experience with Fabuloso, it seems to be an extremely concentrated product, the smell is very strong and it looks like glue has been dropped on the floor.

By the way ! Cheap $1 glass cleaner works amazingly on floors ! No residue . And as another commenter mentioned, the knock off magic erasers , melamine sponges are way cheaper and better ! Moo Moo Magic brand . Thank you for the lint roller reminder . They work in tubs you’ve dried a million times and the one hair that won’t come up no matter how many times you cleaned and dried . Am window vacuum sucks water off shower walls nicely too . As well as cleaning windows. 😊

Great video! Thanks for sharing, and you seem like a really great person to work with. Congratulations on your success so far!
    Just a few questions:
    1. Do you happen to have a list of exact brand and type of products (that glass cleaner)?
    2. Do you refill a travel size dish soap bottle or refill a smaller regular bottle?
    3. Do you have properties near salt water, and if so, do you have any specialized products for that?
P.S. I started using the RainX window cleaner on my glass hurricane doors and it lasted longer against the grime of the salty showers than just normal cleaner. Maybe that can help your team, too!
