You really give some great hints you are so detail in every way. Keep up the good work. May God prosper you in every way. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Love how yall run your Airbnb and how you teaching the little one money doesn't grow on trees it takes hard work and dedication....my wife and I wanted to do Airbnb also you give very good information on the business keep up the good and very professional work .
Nice! Thanks for sharing. You mentioned the smart lock entry in your other video, but curious what do you do about access to other doors, like door to the back yard, porch, etc? Also Smart Locked?
A great way to get more guests to sign the guest book, is put it in the living room with a pen so that it’s there whenever they are hanging out and it’s in plain site 👍
Sorry if you covered this but what do you think is a good time frame between check in & check out to ensure everything is cleaned properly and replenished before the next guests arrive?
Our check out time is 11am and check in is at 3pm. If we were renting back to back, this is plenty of time to change everything over and reset. We choose to give a day in between check ins and check outs, so there's room for error. In case there's a mess or smell that will take longer than a few hours to rid. ☺
Yes you can! You can set it for as long or as little as you'd like. We keep a day in-between our check out and ins, in case there are any unsuspected surprises!
Thanks so much for watching!! We have not made many changes to our cleaning checklist, maybe a few extra details for our newest property, which includes a patio sitting area. But overall, this list covers pretty much everything!

@@TheHomemadeHaven Do you find that most guests leave these untouched because they have brought their own? That is my hope, so they don't have to be replenished too often...just curious your experience. Thanks!
@@neecick for the most part, yes! But if we have quick, 2 night stays.. where they have flown into town (and can't fly with large quantities), they do use what we supply. I'd say it's 50/50 ☺
No.. squatters have no rights here for the length of stays that we allow. Also, we have control of the door lock.. if we ever encounter guests who won't leave, law enforcement would be involved. Thankfully, we haven't had any issues so far! 😊
@@AlexPerez-rt5yg I'm really not sure! We manage ours ourselves and have a friend clean it for us now. I would call your local property management companies and ask around.. or put an ad out on Facebook or something! Best of luck!
You have a beautiful unit and you seem to put a lot of love into it. But as a cleaner there was only one thing that bothered me. Please don’t leave your towels on top of the toilet like that. You have a towel rod on the wall. If you trifold them long ways and hang them you should be able to put both sets on there. Sorry just a little ocd about it.
Thank you for these videos ! There are very few you tube videos on airbnbs that have valuable info or pertinent information like yours.
Thanks so much for the feedback and for watching! We truly appreciate it ☺

I'm surprised you haven't switched the doors on the fridge. Do you get complaints about that?
No complaints! Hasn't been an issue, so we haven't considered it ☺
Where do you guys get the little additional things like coffee etc? And did you factor that into what you charge?
Mostly from Amazon! There are links to most of the items we use in the description box.
We did factor their costs into our nightly rates ☺
Nice! Thanks for sharing. You mentioned the smart lock entry in your other video, but curious what do you do about access to other doors, like door to the back yard, porch, etc? Also Smart Locked?
We keep the other entry locked by key, so our guests only have outside access to the front door with the keypad, until they've checked in. :)

About once a week or as needed! :)
do your comforters have covers?

Hi, approximately how long does it take to clean a 2 bedroom appartment
We have someone who helps us clean now, and she's typically in and out in about 1 to 1.5 hours! :)
Great information and advice!
How much to charge for a cleaning like that?
It depends on the area.. but we pay our cleaner $100 per clean.
So u don’t always wash the shower curtain? As a guest I always wondered if shower curtains were washed but I guess if they look fresh it’s a no
We wash as needed! And always have an extra on hand in case we need a back up ☺
I’m an Airbnb cleaner. If our unit has the removable curtain insert we do change them every turn.
Nice, thank you very much for sharing!!!

Toilet tabs , ruins your rubber seal in your bowls . Use some vinegar, probably better
Thanks for the info!!
Other than cleaning. What about Sanatizing by spraying beds. Pillows etc.
We use hot water and bleach, so they are sanitized each time they're washed :)
Looks great! Semper Fi!
Thank you!! Semper Fi!

We have not! We live near a military base, so our traffic flow is always steady!
