A few weeks ago you guys were talking about what to do for every tenth episode of Back Issues, you could have Tiffany lead them. It's always really fun to see Tiffany do Dr Strange, Saga, or any other indi book and it would be cool to make that a regular thing. Just a suggestion, great work ComicPOP!
Finally. I love this comic. This was what made me get into Dr. Strange. I love the story, art and characters. Brian K. Vaughn once more astounds me as a writer. Whether it be this comic, the Runnaways or Ex-Machina. I still have to check out Saga, but needless to say, this remains my favorite Dr. Strange story. It's right up there with trial and torment. Overall, excellent overview. And I cannot wait for the movie!
If I could only like this for every Mel Brooks' film allusion/joke in this episode. I counted four, with the fourth possibly being from something else. Bless the Ben and his love for classic cooky comedy cliches, alliteration always inteded
Bryan k vaughan has done some mainstream work. he had an excellent run on mystique that really fleshed out her character. also a run on ultimate x-men where he introduced interesting concepts such as mojoverse being running man in genosha and Mr sinister being some punisher guy and apocalypse is a mannequin he dressed up. ha ha. good stuff.
That bit about how science and magic are on the same scale reminds me of how in Fate series, there's a distinction between magic and magecraft. Like magecraft is creating what humans are already capable of through science, but magi uses supernatural means to reach the same outcome. So humans can fly with planes, a magus can just do that with a spell. Meanwhile magic refers to things like time travel, traversing parallel worlds, etc. ALSO there's a character in Fate too, who's an assassin specialized in killing magi, and one of his arsenals happen to be a gun with bullets infused with his own powdered rib bone.
Awesome..! Nice to change it up sometimes and have another POPian do the hosting..! Tiffany is great and really gets into it because she has a big love for the character. Maybe someday we could have Ben doing Preacher or Ethan doing one he likes..?

The idea that Strange can't use magic to do anything not known to science doesn't make any damn sense, except that the story requires it. But since you have to accept the reality the author gives you, I won't complain.
I love when Tiffany does the show, take no offence Sal but I really like the change love Dr Strange, I'm hopping it will be the best film of all te MCU

Funny, I didn't think about it the dozen times I read "Otkid" in the book, but once Tiff said it I was immediately like, "wait, is that Ditko backwards?!" And it's not :( Just one letter off though, so a jumble of the name at least.
After watching the movie, I got really interested in Dr. Strange, is this a good comic book to start with(learning the story and staff) . I am not very familiar with the world of comics but i know it's a very big world (bronze age, silver age etc) and I don't know where to start with.
On the subject of Vaughan, what did you think about "We Stand on Guard?" I just got the hard back yesterday and dove into it. Im still not sure how I feel about it.
This was a pretty good book. The only other experience I had with Doctor Strange was his first appearance from Marvel Firsts: The 1960s. Great episode too. Always love Tiffany's enthusiasm. Awesome job, guys!
I bought volume 1 of ANAD Doctor Strange. I didn't like it very much tbh. The art was cool but it felt like a weird Scooby Doo episode story wise lol. I really want to read some Dr. Strange but I don't know were to start, I may buy Oath.
The Oath and Triumph and Torment. You can buy a marvel unlimited account, they have a lot of his series'. If you wait a few months marvel is releasing quite a few Doc Strange Trades over the next few months. Just search for them on Amazon.
Were getting a new character as far as i know. Maybe Dormammu will be teased in the movie or at the end credit scene, and will be the villain in the sequel. Well find out relatively soon, though.
