Ben Jordan while I'd love to see Ben doing that, I think half the fun of back issues is listening to Sal talk about a bunch of the character's history as well as the behind the scenes type history and I'm not sure Ben would put in the time to do that kind of research. Still would be super cool though.
I might be speaking out of turn, but it's not something that he is interested in doing. Especially, since he doesn't have much in the way of knowledge on the history of most characters but, I am sure he appreciates your interest!
My favorite version of Gambit was from X-Men Evolution, they were able to modernize him, yet still keep the larger than life aspect about him, and prominently displayed his intelligence, and they dealt with his villain aspect really well, he didn't have an accent which was fine because they found a voice actor who had a voice like Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho and he did an amazing job with the character, and the costume looked dope as shit.
I don't care how stupid the Ghost Rider and X-Men team up is (Brood trouble in the Big Easy), I love would to see Comic Pop do a Back Issue video just for the sheer humour. I really enjoy the Back Issue videos and the guys are hysterical😄

Power inhibitors are a well established thing in the x-men. if gambit was really trying to hit that hed have power inhibitors in his nightstand drawer.
Depending on where you are in the timeline (or if the writer even remembers) when Rouge's powers are surpressed or gone she usually ends up fighting with the memories or psyches that she's stolen. Usually it was Carol Danvers, but Belladonna has fought her too. This gets touched on in and around Xtreme X-Men when she starts manifesting every power and memory she's ever absorbed. That's why they avoid her using an inhibitor collar.
You know who else doesn't get as much love attention as he should Shazam/captain marvel. I would love to see in a future video if you were able to do one on of his stories.

Hey I'm a huge fan of the channel and I was just wondering if sal has ever read inhumans by Paul Jenkins. I just finished reading it and I really liked it. I know sal hates the inhumans but it's a pretty good read and that's from someone who has never read an inhumans story. Wait, so the Savage Land takes away mutant powers? How does that work, the powers are genetic baed, so does the SL shut off certain genes? And to what degree do the powers disappear? Does Beast or Nightcrawler lose the blue fur and fangs? If they stayed their long enough, would the hair fall off and Kurt grows more fingers? I heard somewhere Xavier can walk in the SL, but I thought he lost the use of his legs when Lucifer dropped a chunk of wall on him.

Ian McKee Can't find the exact part you're referring to, but the only story I recall of Rogue in the Savage Land without powers was when Magneto was fighting Zaladane! It was basically Nick Fury, Kazar, Magneto and Rogue against Zaladane (dead I believe ). Rogue was powerless at the time and Magneto was weak because Zaladane had drained and obtained his magnetism. It's a great read if you want to check out back issues, it was pencilled by the great Jim Lee! Actually, Lee is the sole reason I'd brought it, I can't recall a story he's pencilled for that was crap!

I think there's a ton of potential with Gambit having his own stories I sad Channing Tatum didn't get to make his Gambit movie I would've loved to have seen that movie man everything I've heard about it sounds fun and interesting and so different from other x-men movies and other superhero movies
