A long time ago I was staying in a vacant home. I cleaned it painted over the graffiti and kept the vandals out. One day the owner showed up he was so shocked by the work I'd done he began paying me a small fee to stay in his empty properties. When it got rented out he put me in another. It's how I got back on my feet
As a parent of a deceased child, its not uncommon to maintain your child's room in an orderly fashion through the mourning process. When I look at the child's room I get a sense of a child passing away. My gut is telling me the squatter is a parent who is still grieving. I felt a sense of sadness in the home. Yes I was surprised you didn’t check to see if electricity and water was working. Check closets next time .. it’s amazing what details you find.. not really interested in Disney toys 😊
Yea that bothered me. Also, he said the squatter was hiding well...I'm like, ummm did you even look in any of the closets? It's like he didn't want to touch anything except the squatters stuff lol. I really wanted to see inside some of those closed doors.
I was thinking that too!! That huge bed could easily hide someone... y'all notice the furniture is art deco/Victorian and the light fixtures are art deco.. im wondering if its held in trust??
I'm wondering if there are any secret passage ways.. houses like this almost ALWAYS have them. They may be there.. i wonder why they left with so much left..
If they are squatting ... they are probably terrified of you. They may be afraid for their safety or of being reported. Just let them be. I am sure they mean you no harm. This is a beautiful home. Whoever is there is not damaging the property 😊. Amazing furniture and collectibles left behind. Thanks for the explore.
I think the power was on in that house @ 6:43 you can see a light switch in the bathroom that has a bulb illuminated behind the switch, the type you use so you can see the switch at night. Also as others have mentioned the microwave has its green illuminated clock showing.
This mansion was probably for sale at one time, cuz it looks staged in the bedrooms. I just love this mansion and would love the opportunity to make it a home. The furniture is definitely not cheap, looks very high end. I am watching from WI. Thanks for the tour, just beautiful...
The power was on. There was a light switch that had a night light glow and the clock on the microwave was lit. I’m surprised they didn’t try the faucets. That would be a good reason to be squatting at that location. Probably even has heat going in the winter to keep out the damp.
Why would someone just up and leave a beautiful house like that with all the furniture etc? Why is it not up for sale or rent, obviously you had permission to go in unless the doors where open? Didn’t you get information about it and find out who the owners are? Frustrating you don’t investigate the complete building by opening closets and doors? Also I would be looking under the beds, every nook and cranny. You have the voice of a cop... lol that’s why they may not show themselves thinking it’s a trap? Or maybe they are out buying more pizza and a vacuum cleaner? Lol 😂. Sadly it’s just a matter of time until the scum of the Earth start vandalising this beauty. 😭😡
My husband got a new job 3 hours away from our home that we had a mortgage on. We paid someone to stay there and watch over it for us while it was for sale. Unfortunately neither one of us are business minded and trusted the people when we shouldn't have. Most of our things were left there until we could come back and get them. They ended up leaving our house open and didn't stick around. They stole alot of our things but there were some things left behind. It became a place for anyone and everyone going through it. It broke my heart. You just never know the circumstances around someone's home. I always feel sad watching these videos just because I know how terrible it feels to have strangers in your home.😔 And on the other hand for some reason I don't know if maybe it's just the mystery or what but abandoned places are mesmerizing. Sometimes though they are not abandoned just in transition.
they said they were convinced there was a stranger in there with them....hiding. so they wisely did not search out obvious hiding places in order to avoid confrontation. it was a safety measure.

Oh wow, what a beautiful house. I would love to restore that. I wonder why it was abandoned. Maybe the owner is in a nursing home because they are not able to take care of themselves and they don’t have anyone to take care of their house. I am watching from Australia and we don’t have any beautiful abandoned houses like this.
First time I've watch one of your videos, I really liked it. The quiet time is nice, it give a break from moving cameras. I also liked the way you shared your lighting equipment. I'll see you again! By the way I live in Victoriaville, Québec.
Oh, for sure there are squatters, this is heaven for a squatter. A delight. I don't like where I live. I would love to 😊 live there too, you think? Haha
The date on the pizza boxes was from October 21/2019, don’t think they are there now. Beautiful home, you were so worried about the squatter that you were going way to fast. The second was from November 2019.
Theresa Cawthon it’s just as bad that this dude is running up in someone else’s home just to get attention on youtube ,with bad recordings at that & meanwhile he’s all fixated on talking about someone else being in there ? Why is it ok for him to be in there recording video to plaster on the internet in someone else’s house? That’s messed up
Kri MD so then why are you watching? He wasn’t talking bad about someone staying there, he was simply letting whoever it was know that they were only taking pictures.
I appreciate your honesty, l have watched two of your videos so far and I'm hooked. This mansion is stunning from the outside but not so much on the inside. The blue wall is hideous and so is some of that haunting furniture. I think the squatter was under the bed in the childrens room. Watching from Australia!
Well this is a different one, you owe more “What up.” Lol You should explore this again, with Carlo...show us more of the 🏠.....What a gorgeous place!🤘
I’m pretty sure the family who owns this beautiful place must of gone out on a trip and couldn’t return back home due to an accident, it’s the only way that mansion could of gone abandon with everything inside.. 😢
This is a beautiful mansion I like everything about especially the pool all that is so amazing, and the basement of so amazing so much space, and the kitchen I just love the kitchen just the way it is, that is such an awesome placeand also that the bedroom where it's at pizza boxes are I just love that bedroom, even the bed that's there and that little room that's attached to wear all those leaves are at, that's great space, such a beautiful mansion .
Thank-you for the tour guys. I have not seen other tours of yours and enjoyed the house. The movement of the camera was at times quite erratic and hard to follow. It's like you gloss over everything four to five times. I takes a few moments for the human eye to adjust but then you'ved moved on three shots ahead. Your nervousness is coming through.
Hi I am a new subscriber. Loved your video and beautiful photography . The house does not look like anyone has really lived there except for the squatter . From CA
Because it doesn't belong to him or her, and doesn't give a shit about the place. And squatters are lazy, thats why they never work so they can have a place of their own.
@@noralynn6318 I don't see that they have been disrespectful of the house at all. A few empty pizza boxes and bottled water doesn't mean they aren't taking care of it. They haven't ruined any of the rooms. Looks like they are only using the 1 room
No sheets... bottles on the floor...: Squatters 101. I was jamming/dancing 💃 to the music 🎶 so hard I almost forgot to watch the video...back to jamming. 21:50 Let's all pause for the wooden nail dowels in the flooring. Carmin San Diego is in Springfield, Missouri.

Your videography is subpar. Swinging around and only glancing looks in rooms; no details. You should have searched for the squatter before you videoed because this is not an explore.

I'm watching this from BC. It's amazing this place isn't being lived in. What hooked me was the basic layout upon entering the house. From what I can recollect as a kid in Montreal,it sure reminds me of our house with the catwalk n chandelier n all. Cool place.
Well at least someone is living there ,I always thought that would be so awesome to be able to living in luxury somewhat and pay for none of it lol 🥂 cheers to the squatters
Fantastic video. Thank you for taking us with you. I loved the last room you were in, especially the window seats and windows. The fireplaces all through the mansion were awesome. Thank you again for the video. 😊🇺🇸

Thanks for the sub!
San Angelo Texas I wanted to ask why did we open the double doors.
New sub here. Wish I knew ABOUT where this was. Great window castings & door hardware is fabulous. Upstairs foyer = landing ..
I wish you would have shown the kitchen area better. You spent way too much time in the bedrooms.
Sorry!
I would be too if i knew there could be a squatter that might jump out.
Just subscribed, awesome mansion. Watching from Carson City, Nevada USA.
Beautiful home, and to me peaceful, I enjoyed it very much.
Awesome video watching this in Bellevue Nebraska
Thanks for watching!
Oh, for sure there are squatters, this is heaven for a squatter. A delight. I don't like where I live. I would love to 😊 live there too, you think? Haha
I totally agree!
It is sad that someone let that mansion go to pieces, cause its beautiful.
Very beautiful home. Ever find any history on it? and I will be watching from Greenville, South Carolina.
Not that I know of
Beautiful home! Thank you for sharing.
Be safe!
While looking for squatter i really like the grey stone bathroom
thanks
Wow! Beautiful Mamsion.. thanks for sharing!
That bed in the master bedroom has definetley been slept in !! All of the other beds are made !! 😲😲😲😲
The light fixture at 3 mins omg 😍💜
The date on the pizza boxes was from October 21/2019, don’t think they are there now. Beautiful home, you were so worried about the squatter that you were going way to fast. The second was from November 2019.
If they are staying there it is pretty disrespectful not to keep it tidy. ☹️
@@breAnnasmama oh brother
I appreciate your honesty, l have watched two of your videos so far and I'm hooked. This mansion is stunning from the outside but not so much on the inside. The blue wall is hideous and so is some of that haunting furniture. I think the squatter was under the bed in the childrens room. Watching from Australia!
Well this is a different one, you owe more “What up.” Lol You should explore this again, with Carlo...show us more of the 🏠.....What a gorgeous place!🤘
Will do!!
Amazing grace! These places r soooo amazing!! I am watching from Kittery, Maine! I want to see more!
I’m pretty sure the family who owns this beautiful place must of gone out on a trip and couldn’t return back home due to an accident, it’s the only way that mansion could of gone abandon with everything inside.. 😢
maybe they forgot that they have a mansion 🤣🥰
That happens more then folks realize
U kind of doubt that, being there really weren't really any personal items left ! Tooth paste and soap can be gotten anywhere, lol's
new subscriber... love the mansion especially the bed in the master bedroom... love your videos
Thank you so much!
From CA
Thanks for subbing!
Who keeps someone taking all the beautiful furniture? What a gorgeous home!
Good video- enjoyed it--Watching from Florida 😎
Why the squater doesn't clean the place? Is living for free.
Because it doesn't belong to him or her, and doesn't give a shit about the place. And squatters are lazy, thats why they never work so they can have a place of their own.
And it’s such a beautiful home, squatters please keep it that way… Thank you 😊
If I were a squatter in an abandoned place, I would clean up the place and be respectful of others' belongings.
Yeah! They should clean up!
Love it!!
Great video. Can’t blame someone for wanting to squat there. Can’t imagine what it would be like to live there
My thoughts exactly
Hi again from Palm Springs!
Another great video! Loved the still photos as well!
Interesting start with the squatter issue but you still kept filming which made the whole visit so much more complete for me stuck at home during the pandemic! Great job! Thanks for sharing!❤
Thanks again!
Your videography is subpar. Swinging around and only glancing looks in rooms; no details. You should have searched for the squatter before you videoed because this is not an explore.
The furniture is beautiful and the kids room is awesome. I am from Naperville, Illinois thank you the video and pictures out of this world I am glad you appreciate the art ❤️ and property. Maria Aldama
You are so welcome!
The fact that he was showing us dead bugs on the floor💀 and spider webs 😂😂😂 look who tf wanna see that I wanna see the house ‼️ like the house not abandoned 🤤🤤 you thought the maids was still going clean it up 🤭🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️👀
I'm watching this from BC. It's amazing this place isn't being lived in. What hooked me was the basic layout upon entering the house. From what I can recollect as a kid in Montreal,it sure reminds me of our house with the catwalk n chandelier n all. Cool place.
hey thanks
Watching from New Zealand , love this place would love to know about it if you find out what happened to the owners!
nope havent found out anything
Kia ora from New Zealand x
Beautiful house... ❤️ Antic furniture i really love that master room unique. Thank for this video 👍👍👍
Wow!! What a love,y home that homeless person has! Lol...I would for sure seek shelter in this home if I was homeless as well 💗 Great find and awesome video. Lots of love and support from Kentucky 💙
You and me both!
What a beautiful home! Loved the furniture would never leave it behind! Love the kitchen!
Thank you so much!
If I were that squatter I wouldn't be homeless. I would have sold all that stuff. This is insane.
Free housing is enough. No need to sell anything just clean it up get a job and move on. Just take care of it as a stepping stone maybe come back and purchase it.😁
Just came across your video. Loved it! Can't wait to see more. I know you will get better with each one! Definitely subscribing🤗
Thanks very much
