So glad Blake said: "I got my PaPa back". Yes, I did sit here a scream "YES, YES" when you said he found the phone. (yes, even teared up) Much love to you and Hubbins. ❤
I got hit by a car when I was kid in the crosswalk Renton Washington my mom witnessed the whole thing it was around when I was 2 I'm lucky to be alive I'm happy you and Blake are too😊
That's true love right there. It isn't about the love and attention that you get, but about the love and attention you give. We can all be fortunate that the love we give is reciprocated by our partners.
I'm so glad that everything worked out for you and Blake. Although it's safe to the cloud, my phone has the last voice message I ever got from my mom and it would kill me if I could never hear her voice again
We recently lost our oldest cat, Lucy. She looks a lot like Beans. She passed in my wife's arms and seeing Beans made me think of her. She was about 15 years old and had a good life. Lucy was a 9-Lives rescue from our local pet store, when she was 1 1/2. Hope this doesn't make you sad. I still have my memories and photos of her. Glad your Hubban found his phone.
My wife held our cat Luna in her arms as she passed. She had cancer of the jaw and operating would have been possible, but she would have lived a miserable life if it had been successful so we decided not to prolong her suffering for our selfish desires. It was still incredibly difficult, but we knew it was the right thing. The crazy thing is that she used to knock over books from our bookshelf so that she could get behind it, and after she died, on a couple occasions, we found books on the floor like she would have normally done. It hasn't happened recently, and I like to think she's moved on. Still, it never gets easy.
That was hysterically funny. I have done the same thing. But my stuff was backed up. I really wanted the story to end with you guys finding the phone still on top of the car. Lol
I'm only about halfway through and I know this is a stressful story but I'm laughing over your pronunciation of "tortillas." I love you, girl. I'm glad you found the phone! I bet Blake backed it up now. Also, BEEEEEAAAANS!
"I have depression" RIGHT!!!! Like I spend MOST of my days trying to NOT jump into traffic just give me a reason 🤣🤣🤣 FRFR though I bet had y'all put out an SOS call those fr the hot mess express that are close enough would have been in gear ready to help💜
First of all, you drive on the WRONG side of the road, how dare! Second of all, what a great story. I've had memories lost on devices in the past and I know the feeling of how hard it is to never hear a voice or see an image, so now I do that at every opportunity with the people that mean the most to me, and I do not regret it. PLEASE let the footnote to this story be that YOU'RE USING THE CLOUD NOW. :D
What a story! I laughed! I cried! I had goosebumps! Next time send out a message to the Hot Mess Express - anyone in the area would have come out to help.
glad you found it. please have him back his stuff up. the cloud is an option, or i just plug my phone into my computer sometimes and copy all my photos ect onto my hard drive just in case. also i was so happy to see beans. shes just precious.
I left my phone on the roof of my vehicle at a gas station once, luckily I heard it slide off and I stopped immediately to get it off the ground...Fortunately this was back in 2007ish when phones were sturdier and not all glass. The only other time I've come close enough to high anxiety levels is when I laid my phone on top of the self-check at Wal-Mart, made it all the way to the car and couldn't find my phone....I hauled ass back into the store and it was where I left it. So glad you two were able to find the phone.
You two are so lucky you're not roadkill. My back yard abuts I-75 and I don't like getting on the road side of the fence. Several years ago, when that stretch had some construction forcing traffic to the right lane and the shoulder, I got a car through my fence. I'm shocked the police didn't make you leave. Glad you're both ok. BACK UP THE PHONE!!! 😊
I hope he set up everything on the cloud now!! I have my pics on 3 different types on cloud storage and a portable hard drive just so I won’t lose this them. My voicemails I want to keep like my Grandmom leaving one singing happy birthday to me are saved that way as well. We’ve also scanned all of our important photos from growing up and old family photos from family that are gone now saved too on that off chance we have another house fire. We had a fire not too long after my daughter was born and we lost some photos due to smoke & water damage, but not everything thank goodness. We also transferred all the old home movies first to DVD, then to digital to back up everything.
One time I was walking down the street and tornado sirens went off and it started to downpour. I ran down the block to the bookstore and the manager was huddling employees and customers into a back room with no windows. After a minute everyone's phone but mine goes off with a weather alert. I thought it was weird but didn't check my pockets for the phone I figured it was in the car. A few minutes go by and the wind subsides but the downpour of rain continues. In the pouring rain I run back to my car but my phone is not there. Immediately I retrace my steps and halftime way down the block in the middle of the flooded street, rushing with water like a river is my iPhone! 😮 it was under 3 inches of water sitting in a pothole 😱 But then it worked fine that's the end of my story
This neighborhood here is bad in Vancouver. Washington just says I go to Dutch brothers. And that's about it these days. I need to leave the house because i'm moving out to a better neighborhood more out in the country
Given that it had a happy ending, that is one HECK of a story!! So glad you're both safe and sound. So glad Blake got his memories back. Hope he's taken the time to preserve them! I had a laptop die on me a little while ago, and a whole external hard drive a few years back. No major emotional attachments like a beloved relative's memories, thankfully. But it is a bummer to lose things. I can only imagine. So thankful that everyone is alive, safe, and well! Hope the experience had no adverse health effects for him; well-wishes for a speedy and healthy healing process!
The thunder at the beginning....."My tea's gone cold I'm wondering why I, got out of bed at all, the morning rain clouds up my window, and I can't see at all..."
My wife and I once got back to our apartment and realized that I didn't have my wallet. We spend the next hour trying to retrace steps understanding last time I used it, and we finally concluded that I gave my wife my wallet after exiting the restaurant. That was the last thing we could recollect. I go back to the car, check on the floor, seat, trunk, whereever. I didn't find it. We go to bed for the night, uneasy that my wallet is missing, thinking we would go to the police to report it next day. Next day, it occurred to me that my wife had it in her hand in the car. So again, I went back to the car. I check *everywhere*, certain that I'd find it somewhere. Just when I'm about to give up, I notice something on the ground, almost hidden underneath my car. It was my wallet. We spent the night with our wallet under the car apparently after she had dropped it without realizing (I guess we had a few drinks that night). I can't tell you the type of relief we got to see it there and with nothing stolen from it. Thought I'd share that little story. Moral of the story: shit happens. :)
SOOO glad y'all & memories r ok!! I would've done same thing coz that would be devastating (experience losing vids & pics of kids on crashed computer)! I could totally listen to u tell ANY kind of story too! 💜🖤💜
Sometimes the worst days make for the best stories (of course, a happy ending helps immensely!) Being able to look back and laugh your ass off at the seemingly crazy and unfathomable sh!t you had to go through to get a thing done is invaluable.
Did something similar. Put my phone on the rear bumper of my truck while loading up. Found my phone a few hours later in the middle of an intersection. Never again.
Wrap that phone in banana peels. Those things have amazing traction. Last summer, I followed a Hyundai Santa Fe for 25 miles, and it had two bananas right on the edge of the roof. Damn things never fell off. (I was scream-laughing the entire time)
We used to travel from Corbin down to Knoxville when I was a kid, because that was the closest ophthalmologist. But, yep, straight down I-75 for about 90 minutes, and then back again. That would've been miserable. If it wasn't storming, it would've been oven-hot and muggy. And, as someone who now lives in Colorado, where Spanish is a commonly-used second language, two "Ls" together ("ll") between two vowels is pronounced like a "Y"; the vowel "I" is always pronounced as a long "E" ("ee"); and the accent in Spanish words is usually on the second-to-last syllable. So, the word "tortillas" is pronounced, "tor-TEE-yuz." 😃 A single one is pronounced, "tor-TEE-yuh." 👍 (In fact, the word "Colorado" actually comes from the Spanish name for the area, "Tierra Colorojo," which means "Red-colored land." And a "J" in Spanish is always pronounced as an "H". 😁)
I never knew that about Colorado! Thanks for that! I know that a lot of people, including me, often mis-pronounce certain words on purpose, just because we can. I don't know if Ashleigh mispronounces tortillas because she doesn't know the correct pronunciation, or because saying tor-till-as instead of tor-tee-yas is just fun. Like saying "ours devours" instead of "or durves" when pronouncing "hors d'oeuvres," or "Hhasta banana" instead of "hasta mañana," or "jai-rose" when ordering spiced lamb on a pita (gyro, correctly pronounced yee-roh). Sometimes it's fun just to mess with stuff, just because. Even when (especially when) we know better ;) But it is important to know the correct pronunciation, as well. Otherwise, it's just ignorance. It's best to know the rules, before breaking them. :D
Please give me more information about the scar removal procedure ... i had open heart surgery when i was 13. i have a keloid scar and i am always on the look out for something to help reduce/remove my scar
You know I said I was in Lebanon Tennessee that's correct but there's some state park with a damn at the park and it has this road to Lupe's up through the trees at the bottom of the WhatApp it whatever it is there's a lake has a bunch of boats on it was a true beautiful place oh by the way Quinn Tarantino film The death proof in Lebanon
Ashleigh, that sounds like a story for Reader's Digest. I'm glad that everything worked out and that Blake has that part of his life back. Peace be with everybody :)
Oh,my God!!!!! I'm glad you are so able to laugh about it! Paw paw's memories are unbelievable important, but please, I hope you never have to do that again!!!
When the notification for that post came up, I looked at your eyes & immediately started pinning the location down on Google Earth. If I could have gotten there fast enough to do any good …
I like would like to live in Chicago. But I think it's too big for me. I think Chicago's still the third biggest city in the United States. And I thought seattle and portland were big Cities I think I like it better in the suburbs over the country where it's more quiet than anyways. You too, have fun, though. And a great lake it's on is it lake superior I don't know
Ashleigh and Blake are the Poster Children of PERSEVERANCE!!!🥰
I’ve never related to anything more than “i have depression, fuck it” 😂😂😂
You Missing the Exit was how you figured that out before you got all the way back home, so that's so great!
So glad Blake said: "I got my PaPa back".
Yes, I did sit here a scream "YES, YES" when you said he found the phone. (yes, even teared up) Much love to you and Hubbins. ❤
'Ever play Frogger' LOL I'm so glad things worked out for you two! That must have been scary for Blake and you.
You sound like a very supportive partner you two are lucky to have each other
Now the question is.......
Did he back it all up to the cloud???????
10:43 I absolutely lost my shit at this 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂OMFG!!!💀💀💀
I got hit by a car when I was kid in the crosswalk Renton Washington my mom witnessed the whole thing it was around when I was 2 I'm lucky to be alive I'm happy you and Blake are too😊
Blake should count his lucky stars he has an excellent wife as in you.
That story was crazy. I can't even imagine how you both felt by the end of all that. So glad he found it in the end.

07:21 One Hell of a wife!!! Such a badass muhfuggin woman, Blake.....you did good my boy👏👏👏
Such a great storyteller! Made me laugh and cry. 💯 glad it had a happy ending!
This is why Ashleigh is the conductor of The Hot Mess Express 😂
We retraced the FUUCK out of our steps😂😂😂
That was hysterically funny. I have done the same thing. But my stuff was backed up. I really wanted the story to end with you guys finding the phone still on top of the car. Lol
"We keep getting close to it but it's moving for some reason."
I'm only about halfway through and I know this is a stressful story but I'm laughing over your pronunciation of "tortillas." I love you, girl. I'm glad you found the phone! I bet Blake backed it up now. Also, BEEEEEAAAANS!
True dedication and mutual support. This is why I love this woman so much.
You were so sweet doing whatever it took to find Blake's phone.
You're a keeper for sure. 💞❤️💞❤️
You summed up ticks so flippin well!!!
Sounds like y'all were made for each other. Awesome story, glad it had a happy ending. ✌️
First of all, you drive on the WRONG side of the road, how dare!

Nearly cried the whole damn time that i listened. Thank God you found it.
"Mediocre surgery" 😂
3.6 rating on the surgery. Not great, not terrible.
And yes I did have a red rider B, b gun. I used to practice shooting bottle Caps at the city park in seattle
What a story! I laughed! I cried! I had goosebumps! Next time send out a message to the Hot Mess Express - anyone in the area would have come out to help.
OK...now PLEASE tell us that your Hubbins has taken the precaution of backing the damned phone up?! 🤣
glad you found it. please have him back his stuff up. the cloud is an option, or i just plug my phone into my computer sometimes and copy all my photos ect onto my hard drive just in case. also i was so happy to see beans. shes just precious.
I75 is CRAZY!! You two are very brave or just very desperate.
Great story, Great outcome.

Because like classical rock and country. Classical music and jazz has got scales
11:18😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Loved the story and happy it all worked out, bu the purrrrrr from Beans at the end was worth the watch!
2:55 We Android people also have everything saved to the cloud.

Got pretty good at it, too. A rifle or a twenty two just got a little bit more kick
Not me crying when he found Papop. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So glad nothing happened to you or Blake (and shocked LE didn't pull over and ask what the hell you were doing, lol).
Hope you and man will be all right I will pray 🙏 for you
I know I shouldn’t laugh but that has totally cheered me up, I’m so happy you both found your Phone 🙂
Please tell me he back up his phone to the cloud after that.
The thunder at the beginning....."My tea's gone cold I'm wondering why I, got out of bed at all, the morning rain clouds up my window, and I can't see at all..."
You know, as a phone, you have a pretty easy way to make it make noise to make it easier to find once you were close by.
Kind of makes sense where it was. If he was on the left side of the car when he put it on the roof, it probably fell to the left, where the median is.
Awesome story.
So glad he found everything and that you all are safe. I used to cross the freeways when I was a teen so I know what you mean about frogger lol.
You are an amazing story teller :)
Phone: Important
Others lives: Not Important
john wayne was my Grandma whitney's favorite

I know how she feels been there done it luckily my wife left hers at the Walmart and it was still there when we got back.
Did something similar. Put my phone on the rear bumper of my truck while loading up. Found my phone a few hours later in the middle of an intersection. Never again.

I see that you and your husband are doing well I wish you the both of luck.
What was the classic rock and country from the 70s? I also like classical music like mozart beethoven j s Bach
I'm so glad it all worked out. I hope the first thing Blake did was back that shit up tho!!!
Teamwork! Yay! Glad it worked out.
Ooomph, sweaty sutures! Grateful you found it all, Blake.🖤 Did Beans get a brush-out? Love how your tips went with your search & rescue gear, Ash.💛

When the notification for that post came up, I looked at your eyes & immediately started pinning the location down on Google Earth. If I could have gotten there fast enough to do any good …
A long, rough day, ..............but the phone is where it belongs and you've got a story to tell.
I like would like to live in Chicago. But I think it's too big for me. I think Chicago's still the third biggest city in the United States. And I thought seattle and portland were big Cities I think I like it better in the suburbs over the country where it's more quiet than anyways. You too, have fun, though. I'll be sick of seeing the Sears tower or the Willis towers, which is called now. Used to be the biggest building in North America. Also like the Chicago river. And a great lake it's on is it lake superior I don't know
You really are a ride or die Ashleigh 🙌🏼
What an adventure!
what a story!!!
God bless, could you have called it while nearby?
Now Twelve gauge shotgon the other hand
Wife level: Goddess

Something you both will laugh at in years to come.
