Over the decades, Zabar’s has developed a reputation for high quality product and service when it comes to smoked fish. Their smoked fish department is one of the busiest fish counters in the city, hand-slicing and selling thousands of pounds of smoked fish to loyal customers every week. It’s a reputation Zabar’s is very, very proud of; and Saul believes a lot of it has to do with his keen taste for smoked fish.

    Not impressed by an old man sticking his finger into fish and then moving on to the next one. No glove changes. I would say it is like spitting in the food and be happy about it. The basic thing is what they show is do not eat fish from Zabar's , or buy smoked fish from ACME .

      This is the risk we take everyday when we have others prepare our food for us. I've tried my best to cook my own meals for the most part however there are things that I cannot make myself. I did go to Zabar's recently and did not try the smoked fish. I did buy a lot of bread.

      its worse because its a wholesale shop not even his own food supply. it speaks volumes for Acme to have never seen it.
