11-52 cassette is a great reason to make the rear access hatch bigger, even if it looks ugly 😬

I agree but my eye likes also elegance. I see the nice small cover more often then I need to take out the rear cassete ;-)

Just curious if buy a bulk in future (looking about 6-7 years time) would it also be possible to get like torque amount for each bolt part or like a pdf on site? (I like to follow to make sure get right and not over tighten stuff

Why not make the same access hole on the other side also? You would not need the special tool & special screw. The fit of the axle is very tight. With dirt and rust it will be difficult to remove. You even hurt yourself during dismantling. So better to fix the axle with a maintenance-friendly system (for example a crew from the side).

If you make many holes in a construction you need to use more material to reinforce the construction

taking it out is the easy part i guess ;-)

if the otherside also has a cover for assembly and if the axel goes a bit smoother so you could retracted just the hub part, then it would be more easy outside of the workshop
