Awesome explanation I am going to try it today and that little slide on the B to the 5th fret Really does give it that elegant smooth flavor I could hear Stevi singing it Beautiful song 🎵 Thank's Brother !! 😎
That added ninth on some of the F chords and the periodic G7 voicings were what I was trying to figure out for ages! Thank you! One additional thing, though: I think there are a few Gs where the high E is left open in one of the layers rather than fretted at the first or third fret, so there might be a G6 in there sometimes, but I can't say precisely where; most transcriptions point to the chorus if they include the G6 interpretation, but I'd have to relisten to be sure. There's a lot more going on in that song than is immediately obvious despite being so firmly rooted in such a simple Lydian vamp. It's a bit like the rock version of Erik Satie in that way.
