    Its contradicting, if we took a 2 year study program follow by a pgwp then why they still want us to go back to our home country after the graduation? Shouldn't we be contributing to Canada economy?

    Hi! I got my visa refused for
    1) travel history
    2) insufficient finances
    3) officer doesn’t believe I’m going back home
    -I reapplied and mentioned in my study plan all the lands and estates that I have back home. I also mentioned that I will have to go back home because my siblings are all underage and I think it’s my responsibility to fund them after I graduate since my parents are getting old. I also uploaded my American Visa with my passport along with other travel stamps. Do you think that’s enough?

    • @AK-uo4ih

      I also payed 60% of my tuition fees and uploaded the receipts.

      @studyliveexploreca  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi,
      I am not sure what the exact reasons were. But yes you need a complete and clean travel history. Also proof of funds for tuition as well as living expenses for a year. Explain the strong home ties as well and what your plans are when you go back home.

    This topic is really ironic because we study in Canada because eventually we wanted to be PR. Aside from that, Canada is advertising that being a student is a pathway to PR... but still, we really need to prove that we will go back to our home country after graduating.

    • @studyliveexploreca
      @studyliveexploreca  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello Mark - :) although student pathway is a dual intent - we encourage students to satisfy the officer that you’d be going home after studies. Student permit is a temporary permit - it does not guarantee your PR. At the end of the study permit - you have to go back to home country. So you have all the means to tell the officer your intention to stay here, but you are increasing the chances of getting rejected. I put out this video for awareness - but if you still decide to do the dual intent I guess it will be your discretion. :)

    Hi, MC! I've watched your video til the end. I wanna ask if I should not include in my study plan the fact that right after my study, I would apply for a pgwp? Should I just focus and convinced them that after my study, I will be back to my home country immediately? Thanks!

    Hi MC! Thank you for this! I was actually looking for an answer to my question re restrictions/best program and glad I found your vid. You mentioned that say for example, you have an IT degree already, the next program to take should be a post graduate or specialization already right (i.e. analystics, networking etc). How about taking business mgt or business administration (to further management and leadership know-hows and to prepare for a management position), is it a good plan? Will there be implications? since IT is not related to management.
    Thank you :)

      thanks for subscribing, happy you like the video.
      As for getting denied, its not so much about the length of the program, but more how valid your case is, strong SOP, proof of home ties, relating your program to previous education, live/work experience, goals etc.

    Hi! I find your video interesting. I just want to ask your expert advice.
    I finished Bachelors Degree in Tourism, Hotel and Travel Industry Management. I applied and got refused due to purpose of visit. The course I’m supposed to take is Hospitality Hotel Operations college diploma in Canada. Could it be the reason why? I said in my SOP that I’ve been a housewife for more than a decade. Do I really have to take Masters if I don’t remember anything from my previous studies or it’s ok to repeat.

    And if my travel stamps and visas are in my already expired passport. How can I show proof of travel history?
    Also is it true that they reject the visa if it's s bank loan? If the money is in my account for more than 3 months, do I have to declare where it comes from?

    Honestly I resigned from work just to go there, to seek job there. But unfortunately it didn't happen bec. Of that.
    Then im planning to apply SP for intake sept. 2023 in CA, without any stamp in my passport. Should I declare that I was offloaded even i had my visit visa?

    I think it would be great if you start a series on how to apply for PR through express entry as an international student in Canada. Because after finishing a year of studies here, there’s a lot of doubts in the minds of people. Like whether proof of funds is needed or not, if needed how to show it.
    Can we make our Express Entry profile while we are studying as an international student and then upload the diploma once we finish the program in Canada to be eligible for rounds as soon as we finish the program?

    • @studyliveexploreca

    Hello! Isn’t it questionable that your ties on your home country are your child and spouse and then later on they will apply as OWP and TRV? Does the one who applied for SP needs to be in Canada first before applying for OWP and TRV? or once SP is approved OWP and TRV can apply right away so they can depart to Canada together? Thank you in advance! :)

I can get 6 mos. bank statements for my own account, but for my sponsor's, I only have their bank certificate and 3 mos bank statements. th-cam.com/video/M3WJhpERIR8/w-d-xo.html
      However, when applying for the study permit, they mostly want to see that you have plans to go back home and home ties, so you dont just stay in in canada living of the government.
      I know its very controversial but thats the way it works in most cases ;)

      You dont have to lie - but you have to prove that you’d be living Canada after completion of ur program- that is one of the eligibility as per the cic website. You can tell them ur intention to immigrate - hence thats not the goal of study permit right? Study permit is temporary permit - you must leave after duration of your program.

    Hi coach MC, I need your inputs, as you were tackled from here about the visa refusal, my case, I applied my MPNP year 2007 but I was refused as the reason having not strong ties relationship in Canada, yet, when the time that I applied, her brother was sent online his application too, same time and date. Is it red flag to VO? Another, when I came here in Marshall Island I am again refused for C1 (US visa), then after a year, I reapplied again and God's grace I am granted C1 visa with 5 years validity. Do I still need to declare my MPNP and US Visa refusal. Thank you.

      Well a deposit of a large amount in your recent account history will raise questions yes. Since some people only borrow that money from someone and then send it back once they are approved, which you should not do.
      In your case I would give them the account history, explain in your SOP why and how your mother is funding your studies. And also have a letter from your mom explaining how and why she is funding you etc. mention the money transfer.

My family had applied for permanent immigration visa many years ago for USA, but the processing is still ongoing and even though we still haven't been accepted or rejected, is it something I need to mention in my statement or interview for obtaining study permit for Canada? I also had to take a gap year from my university because of this visa processing issue, since we were called for our USA immigration interview back in our home country where we had to travel from our country of residence (UAE), and after our interview the embassy kept our passports in their custody, which prevented us from returning back to UAE on time. I'm just unsure of how much of these points I should mention or leave out, so would greatly appreciate your opinion on this matter!
