      My doubt is... If I get a OWP, because my wife is coming with a study permit, but I wanna go a few months after her. How much do I need to proof ? I've saw that a couple need to prove 14k, but if she go first and I go after the calculation is different?

      Hi,
      with a GIC you should get it pretty soon once they received your money.
      If you show your bank account, get a cert from your bank, make sure to provide 4-6 months of your account history as well.

      See here:
      www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/get-documents.html
      Stocks are good to add to proof of funds but don't count much by themselves, as they fluctuate and are not as liquid as cash.
      A full scholarship is hard to get but even if you have one, don't you still need a place to live, buy food, pay your cellphone bill etc?

    What if I have the amount but not in cash ?
    and what if I only have the amount for the tuition fees but not for the living (bc i could be living at one of my relative's hous)

    • @studyliveexploreca
      @studyliveexploreca  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I recommend to have the first year of tuition and 10000 cad saved in cash before you apply. If its only a one year program and you get support from your relatives and have say 5000 for living expenses, yes that might work but maybe not.

    I’m in a bit of a dilemma.
    I’m planning to visit Canada with a two year Post Graduate Degree and would like to know how to show my funds for visa approval.
    1/ Do I need to have LIQUID CASH available in the bank six months prior to applying?
    2/ Would FIXED DEPOSITS work as a sign of funds available?
    3/ Would a student loan for the entire amount of education and stay be enough to apply for visa?
    Please do let me know.
    Appreciate all your efforts.

      I am pretty sure the school will refund you, if you show them that you were refused. But they want to see the original refusal. Double check with the school to be sure.

    Hi. I just want to inquire, Do I required to pay the 1st year tuition fee & its receipt to be submitted to student visa application? or Tuition fee Deposit plus ( 1 year tuition fee + 1 yr cost of living equivalent of amount of bank certificate) instead? Otherwise, I will inquire the procedure as to how to refund the 1 year tuition fee because as per the school that i previously applied, tuition fee deposit is enough.

    Hii Mc , I have a question regarding the GIC, can we have a sponsor through it? For example, my dad will be my sponsor but we are applying through the student direct stream, I've heard that the gic requires the money to come from my bank acount, so can my dad, for example, transfer the money to my account before? If yes what type of documents will I have to show?

    • @studyliveexploreca
      @studyliveexploreca  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as the wire transfer going to GIC should be from the same bank account holder name. That's what matter most :)

    Hi there! great video and great content as always. Regarding Canada Study visa, I have shown an amount as proof of funds in my bank account for which my bank account statement is submitted with the visa application. My question is from thereon, do I need to maintain or retain the mentioned balance amount (which was shown in my bank account during visa filing) in the bank account under my study visa results have come or can I break the account to withdraw the funds, if Yes then will breaking of funds before my application results will lower down the possibility of Study visa in Canada.

    I have done my engineering in ece. But want to take masters program in data science. First question is it possible to get a ms in data science, if i do not have degree in cs or math or stats. If yes, please give me some University name which have cheap fees structure. Also if there are exposer of internship or co-op with my master program it will be better. Also i want to work part time to cover my expenses and fees as i belong to middle class family.

    Would a 2-year tuition fee and miscellaneous fee totaling 50K CAD and 10K CAD be sufficient proof of funds for a single applicant?

    • @studyliveexploreca
      @studyliveexploreca  ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on your tuition fees, and other costs, but with 60K your chances are probably good for getting a study permit.

    Hi Ms. MC, my uncle will sponsor me throughout my study in Canada, he is a PR in Canada by the way. Would it be okay if I only provide a letter of support to the VO? I think the Affidavit of Support should be notarized and I watched on some other videos that it's hard to get papers notarized in Canada.

    • @studyliveexploreca
      @studyliveexploreca  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi,
      Well it doesn't have to be, it just makes it a bit more trustworthy.
      Its not hard to get papers notarized, you just go to a lawyer or Public Attorney, takes five minutes and cost maybe 20-30 $
      Bank-statements are pretty strong as well.

      If you need to use that account on a daily basis then small amounts are ok, but the majority of course needs to stay there as you need it for Canada. (Unless you use some to pay tuition fees for example).

The cic website says "Certified bank statements or financial investments with past six month's history including your submission month.
