The cic website says "Certified bank statements or financial investments with past six month's history including your submission month.

Hi mc, thanks for the info. I just want to ask whats ur take if we have a house thats still under amortisation and that we would let someone rent it when we go to Canada? Would that help with our pof too, and that the rent would somehow supplement with the monthly amortization?
I am pretty sure the school will refund you, if you show them that you were refused. But they want to see the original refusal. Double check with the school to be sure.
Hi MC and Mr felix! Thanks for this video.. May I ask, when is the best time to produce my bank statement and certs, my relative's who is living in Canada, and other sponsors i would like to add in my application?
Hi, unfortunately it will have to be in a bank account. Or what you can do is use some of the cash to pay the first tuition, or purchase a GIC, they will accept that.
Good day , , when I am applying for visa on the imm1294e form , for post graduate certificate, what should I chose as level of study cause post graduate certificate is not listed
I obtained a personal loan and invested in a fixed deposit. now it is almost 6 months I did that, will it be a problem? will they check the history of my loan account?
Hi, as we mentioned in the video, have your friend write a statement where they describe how and why they will support you. The more financial proof they can provide, the better (Bankstatements, paystubs, etc.)
Hello ! Thank you for the video. I would like to ask if the proof of funds for my son is from my personal loans here in bank in middle east is there a problem ?
If you need to use that account on a daily basis then small amounts are ok, but the majority of course needs to stay there as you need it for Canada. (Unless you use some to pay tuition fees for example).
Hi Ms. MC thank you for lots of informations it gives me hope. I'm from Philippines but I'm working in uae, I want to know if where should I open my savings account here in uae or in the Philippines for my proof of funds. Thank you in advance.😊

can I show my own financial statement as a parent to support the sudies for my son incase? Also you've mention the total number of years of studies say 4 years I should show upfront for total amount?
Hi, unfortunately it will have to be in a bank account. Or what you can do is use some of the cash to pay the first tuition, or purchase a GIC, they will accept that.
Hello, i have a few questions, What if I have the amount but not in cash ? and what if I only have the amount for the tuition fees but not for the living (bc i could be living at one of my relative's hous)
I recommend to have the first year of tuition and 10000 cad saved in cash before you apply. If its only a one year program and you get support from your relatives and have say 5000 for living expenses, yes that might work but maybe not.
Hi Ms. MC! If I am to open a GIC account today then lodge my application after 3 days, will it be a red flag? I am considering to open one before I lodge to have a stronger POF. What do you think? Thanks!
You can use the GIC as a proof of funds as soon as they have your money and you have proof of that. Not sure what exactly the bank gives you but should be some form of statement or certificate.
Hello- new subscriber here! I need an advice pls😊 I am planning to take a program on Customer/Client Relationship Management in Toronto. After finishing this course, I’ll apply for PGWP program. But I also know that I may NOT BE able to land a job on supervisory levels during my PGWP because the entry-levels of the above-mentioned course that Im planning to take belong to NOC job C- which as a result will also not qualify me for FSW application. So my question is, can I apply for PNP on any of the provinces as an alternative instead?
Depends on your tuition fees, and other costs, but with 60K your chances are probably good for getting a study permit. www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/get-documents.html
Hi guys. Firstly, thanks for a perfectly structured video. I've just one question. I've stock that worth almost 50k and I don't want to cash them before I go to Canada. Even that much money not considered as cash, since I can cash them in 2 days? To illustrate, We're 3 as family. My wife, my daughter and myself. I'll study a 2 year program. I've 50k worth stock and I still can show the 1 year payment + 20k CAD cash. Is it still better to show only like 50k cash instead? I just want my money to grow until I go there. Is it so wrong for their consideration :)
Hi, not quite sure. I can say though you should have the money at a proper bank and show a signed/stamped statement with your funds and 4-6 month transaction history. Check with CIC for more details
They accept GICs as a proof of funds for a study permit, so I would assume they accept it for Express Entry as well. But please verify this with IRCC. A GIC is basically a savings account where your money is locked in for a certain period and earns an interest.
Got a refusal letter stating the reason for rejection is “Personal assets and financial status”. Please how do i go about responding to this from IRCC? Thanks..
@@katesylvanus765 I actually know where i faulted when providing pof. But at this juncture i need a better way of replying to the reason for refusal on my loe please.. thanks

Hi. I just want to inquire, Do I required to pay the 1st year tuition fee & its receipt to be submitted to student visa application? or Tuition fee Deposit plus ( 1 year tuition fee + 1 yr cost of living equivalent of amount of bank certificate) instead? Otherwise, I will inquire the procedure as to how to refund the 1 year tuition fee because as per the school that i previously applied, tuition fee deposit is enough.
Hi, need an urgent suggestion pls. Can i withdraw my money from bank account since i have received canada study visa approved 2 days ago ? Hope it wont be a problem while landing in Canada. tyvm
what if you have already GIC then suddenly got a result and it is declined can I still get back my money transfer over to philippine bank? is that possible?
Hi Mc and Felix! My aunt is planning to sponsor me for my international education. Does showing her bank account certificate/statement enough for my POF? Or is it necessary to have it transfer on my account? Thank you very much! :)
Is it really important to stay minimum of 4months the big amount of money give by my mom eventhough there is certification that she will help my school? Or just 1 month will do for immigration? Sorry for my english im not good
My sibling wound be moving to Canada with PR in few months and through his reference, mine would also be generated as i wish to study MBA. Do i still need to show proof of funds? I'm not having much idea about these processes as im totally a newbie.

If you need to use that account on a daily basis then small amounts are ok, but the majority of course needs to stay there as you need it for Canada. (Unless you use some to pay tuition fees for example).
Hi Ms. Mc! My aunt is going to sponsor me using her Tax free savings account. Can we use that as proof of funds? Hope you notice my question. TiA
Hi Ms. MC thank you for lots of informations it gives me hope. I'm from Philippines but I'm working in uae, I want to know if where should I open my savings account here in uae or in the Philippines for my proof of funds. Thank you in advance.😊
Hello Diana, you can use any banks as your POF as long as it's named after you or your sponsor/s with supporting documents :)
Hi, does your sponsor neccesarily needs to be in the same province as your school of interest? Or they could still be eligible even if they are not? Thanks alot!
can I show my own financial statement as a parent to support the sudies for my son incase? Also you've mention the total number of years of studies say 4 years I should show upfront for total amount?
If I have cash how do I prove to them that I have the cash
Hi, unfortunately it will have to be in a bank account. Or what you can do is use some of the cash to pay the first tuition, or purchase a GIC, they will accept that.
Hi, how can I put funds down in Canada for GIC from Nigeria?
Yes you can. choose your bank in Canada for the GIC, Scotiabank is one for example.
@@studyliveexploreca thanks
Hello, i have a few questions,
What if I have the amount but not in cash ?
and what if I only have the amount for the tuition fees but not for the living (bc i could be living at one of my relative's hous)
I recommend to have the first year of tuition and 10000 cad saved in cash before you apply. If its only a one year program and you get support from your relatives and have say 5000 for living expenses, yes that might work but maybe not.
For example, my parent will be my sponsor and she is from the Philippines, does she still need to provide income tax? Thank you
Thanks alot God bless you
Always welcome
Please can I have more than one sponsors. For instance like wife and a friend who has left my home country for United Kingdom .

Hi Ms.
I need an advice pls😊
I am planning to take a program on Customer/Client Relationship Management in Toronto.
As long as you meet each PNP requirements you can apply to any PNP programs
Would a 2-year tuition fee and miscellaneous fee totaling 50K CAD and 10K CAD be sufficient proof of funds for a single applicant?
Depends on your tuition fees, and other costs, but with 60K your chances are probably good for getting a study permit.

Stock reports aren't considered as liquid cash.
However This will support you to help you justify your networth.
Is money deposited in a time-deposits account acceptable for pof? This type of account allows withdrawal on a fixed day of every month
Hi,
not quite sure.
I can say though you should have the money at a proper bank and show a signed/stamped statement with your funds and 4-6 month transaction history. Check with CIC for more details
How can I reapply for my visa If I was rejected based on personal assest and financial
Hi mc, i want to ask if only immediate families can do it or like i have a friend and she/he will sponsor me in my food allowance is it valid?
A friend can sponsor you too, its just if its a closer relative its more trustworthy to immigration.
Just make sure to provide proper documentation.
Is GIC(Guaranteed investment Certificate) acceptable for Express Entry ?
Hi,
see here: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/proof-funds.html#table
@@studyliveexploreca I read all but not mentioned anywhere. Kindly tell GIC, which is used for study permit can be used for FSW as a proof of fund
They accept GICs as a proof of funds for a study permit, so I would assume they accept it for Express Entry as well. But please verify this with IRCC. A GIC is basically a savings account where your money is locked in for a certain period and earns an interest.
Hi, do I need to indicate or include where I get my proof of funds in my bank if I am a fresh graduate and no work experience yet?
Got a refusal letter stating the reason for rejection is “Personal assets and financial status”. Please how do i go about responding to this from IRCC? Thanks..
Tony Idoye how much did you show as proof of fund?
@@katesylvanus765 I actually know where i faulted when providing pof. But at this juncture i need a better way of replying to the reason for refusal on my loe please.. thanks
Nice content Miss MC thanks for sharing. I have concerns though. After the affidavit of support got notarized what's next? Can they simply send the soft copy via email or I need the hard copies to be submitted to the VO
Currently they only accepts online based application

Hi Mc and Felix! My aunt is planning to sponsor me for my international education. Does showing her bank account certificate/statement enough for my POF? Or is it necessary to have it transfer on my account? Thank you very much! :)
Affidavit of support and other supporting documents need mo to strengthen your application. Also ok din if may share ka kahit papano

Are fixed deposits accepted as POF?
Hi,
you're welcome!
Not sure what you mean by fixed deposits.

So that means GIC is included in proof of funds..??

Hi can I ask if my bf will be the one who will sponsor me for my expenses and for my show money is that applicable ?
About the Account Bank. How can enough money be shown? Total money most to be shown in all in the next four months or how?
Hi Laura, as per CIC, each applicant should have 1yr tuition fee + 1yr cost of living as POF
@@studyliveexploreca Hi! Thank you for your very fast answer. My question is about the four months of the bank account.
People say that the money in its entirety should be reflected in the last four months. Is this true?
is that a problem if my fund are my own savings ??
