This is the system i purchased through costco. the directions and information on when (how) to change filters is garbage to say the least. The red/blue blinking fauset light tells you to replace which filter? Does it know based on Part Per Million, time or battery level? I know ways to "reset" light but again, not knowing what it measures or indicates makes it useless in a way. I've changed the stage one filter at the six month mark but the light remains red. How many times do you need to refill the tank and empty? I did 3 times, just like the original installation. Stage 3, I will change at trhe one year mark. Having a sense of the number of gallons/liters each filter can handle (especially with original part per million and reduction would be ideal). I am sure we don't all use the same amounht of water, nor start with the same amount of ppm in the water. If you chan ge because of bacteria buildup, then give us a baqseline measurement so we can keep an eye on that too. I've found little to no information on stage 2 filter replacement information. Luckily I have a ppm meter from amazon. I will post a video about this system with my meter readings if the company doesn't do an in depth follow video about all this stuff soon.
The blue light on the handle changed to red. Is that because of the battery in the handle or it's time to replace the filter. How often should the three stage filter be changed?
Hello - i need help: the reverse osmosis faucet on top of the kitchen is leaking water even when it is not been used - what could be the problem? Do those white and blue hoses need to be replaced every so many years? i have replaced the system 3 separate times already and i am ready to just remove it entirely because the water leak in to the base cabinets causes so much wood rot problems.
I think this is it🤷♀️ th-cam.com/video/Q2u0hE7oXS8/w-d-xo.html If anyone is minding this channel, please post an official video of the battery change & one that shows the step by step filter changes; Including how to use bleach to sanitize the line(s). Thanks!
One complaint I have with this is how unintuitive the color coding was done. All tube colors match with their respective ports, EXCEPT the faucet and drain are backwards. The faucet port is white and drain is blue, but the blue tube goes to faucet and white goes to drain. Very silly.
PLEASE post a video on changing the filters on this model.
The written instructions are fair but the installation video is excellent.
How do you replace the #2 filter
The cheap, plastic fittings are easily broken. Steel or brass fittings would have been a better way to go.

it turns red when it is time to change the filter. it recommends changing the battery there as well at that time. it is very easy to do...google it!

about every 4-6 weeks (at least at our house) you have to clean the tube that runs from the system above. we use a wire to clean it out
Stage 1 don't stop to liquids (running water)
How do you reset the light on the handle from red back to clue?
I meant blue!

You have to change the filter.
