I was expecting him to use random.shuffle so that he not only knows the entire order in advance, but more importantly avoids drawing the same choice multiple times
It's just too difficult if you do it for individual pieces and pawns. you should just put (pawn, bishop, knight, rook, queen, king) in the list and then you just need to take anything that qualifies for that. Of course if King is the first thing you get you're still kinda screwed and it just becomes a "can't capture anything" challenge.
@@kazarinnWe meant doing it on the H pawn... we're just dumb because we forgot how En Passant works (H4 to G5 is not how that works, need a pawn on G5 to move to H6 to do it)
This challenge had an utterly enormous chance of going very wrong very quickly. You tackled it anyway and did your damndest to make it happen. Testosterone.
Ahh, so Simp has become the 100-rated paid actor that resigns after losing their queen, conveniently winning the other guy's blunder-everything challenge
The best part about this is that if your moves weren't so awful, you might get flagged for cheating, given that you were consulting an external program, making a suspicious number of your moves fall within a certain time window.
This feels like it would have been more interesting if Simp rolled two or three options at each stage, giving him a choice of a couple of valid targets. Only having one option each time seemed a tad too restrictive, even for someone like Simp who is definitely not a coward.
You need to remove the taken pieces from the list otherwise you might get the same result twice, and change from running the program each time you need a result to hitting space or something
I slightly corrected the code: import random import keyboard targets=["A","B","C","D","E","F","G","H","Rook1","Horse1","Bishop1","King","Queen","Bishop2","Horse2","Rook2"] while True: target=random.choice(targets) print(target) targets.remove(target) while keyboard.is_pressed("n")!=True: pass

This, but you know the entire list in advance should be easier to plan!
I don't think it'll solve any of the problems demonstrated in the video.
I thought this was the challenge and Simp failed to understand that like a total coward. I hope he will make another one
It would be less funny and most importantly, only a coward would do such a thing as "preparing a plan" in advance
I was expecting him to use random.shuffle so that he not only knows the entire order in advance, but more importantly avoids drawing the same choice multiple times

babe wake up, CANON PIECE (and pawn) NAMES JUST DROPPED
Edward's new life as the King has begun.

He's used these names before tho
Not new indeed.
@@RandoStaRR not all of them
I'm so happy for Edward! After all those years of hard work as an e-pawn, he was finally promoted to the king position.
Edward died so many times and became a queen so many times, he has the experience to be good king
Edward was a king in the original program, which it seems he just re-used now.
He just called the pawn Edward from the onwards.
Edward becomes king of an enemy that destroys Simp

A "can't capture anything" challenge could have still happened but this would have certainly made it easier for simp
let's upvote it so he sees it.
Your plan sounds suspiciously similar to something a coward will do.
Each piece should get an entry in the list (so 8 pawns and etc), so getting the king will be less likely at the start
@@guiorgy i like this better
This would be a fun challenge to repeat.
understandable ending
"How the f**k am I supposed to reach that square?"😂
I demand this series continue until you win a game under these rules.
And by "demand" I mean "politely request"
i second this
Agreed! Please repeat the challenge! And to make it a little more doable, give yourself a free reroll for every capture you make.
+1
You forgot: "and I'm not a coward"
Which means he is
Maybe this time (and only this time) he was a coward
We already know by now that he's not a coward.
Well he didn't say he was a coward... He didn't say...
4:54 - 5:12 I can feel that bishop's pride on its aggressiveness, not realizing all those moves were blunders.
You know what, the opponent moves like a stream sniper....
The Octopath Harvey was an unexpected, but totally welcome surprise
Indeed
This was a really fun idea, it's too bad you got the worst possible outcomes.
that has to be one of the longest videos without ads and disclaimers on this channel.
Loved the fact you put Octopath Traveler Harvey in this
And I supposed Harvey Dent from the Batman movies.
Nah what I meant was that he put a picture of Harvey from Octopath traveller over the h pawn
When the RNG hates your guts, it’s hard to win.
1:56 bro forgot the french move
Your (oops, not) right!!!

That challenge was impossible, but you tried it. You are not a coward!
well, what if you get the same piece twice? You see, a random order or pieces, that doesn't contain doubles should be better.
Andrew cosplaying as Gwen. Is there something you'd want to share, Simp?
That 100 rated guy finally feels that he is crashing an opponent
Kudos for trying.
Also btw I would've just had the script scramble the list then print it out instead so you didn't have to keep running it.
Do this again, but don't specify the exact piece, just the type of piece (Pawn means any pawn, Bishop means any Bishop etc.)
The Ocropath reference was hilarious
So I think Edward suddenly becomes the king
I would like to see this challenge again but with the allowance of any 1 piece or pawn taken between each target.
Note that this program could have returned twice the same piece/pawn, which would have been terrible and funny
Gaol is pronounced "jail" as per your Pokémon video
I'd like to see this again, or maybe a version where it is only pieces and not pawns
This would be a very interesting challenge if both players had it.
The en passant should take priority over the challenge
This challenge sounds like unless you get really lucky your best hope is to get a locked position and go for a draw.
Octopath Traveler baybee!
Harvey! Wasn't expecting that crossover. I only just fought him for the first time a couple of days ago.
It’s unusual for you to run out of time

Man, this was the best and funniest challenge in a while
This but pawns can be captured anytime. They're like the nameless henchmen in an action movie, who cares when they die?
RNG was not on Simp's side
Octopath Harvey as the H pawn was awesome :D
Again with the "surely he'll move the knight he's been hanging for 5 moves over the bishop he just moved" line.

That guy triple defended his H-Pawn...
I honestly think it was a good idea to take the h pawn when the knight was coveeing it because he might not see the knight defends.
I thought it was fairly clear the opponent was attacking your rook with the knight, but other than the random pawn move, good game.
Seriously, what an impossible challenge this game was.
The moves of the 100 rated player are truly incomprehensible. But then again, so are Simp's.

I can see this idea not being impossible if you can capture anything in order to kill your target.
You know, like a really determined assassin would.
I think a better version of this challenge would've been if the targets could only be the pieces, and pawns were free to take whenever.

You have to pop the captured piece of the random list, so it doesn't appear twice.
