I really like how much you can abuse the hidden block in the early Mario Party games. Also, at 55:57, I didn't even know you could stand on top of the blocks in that minigame!
You're treating us well with these uploads, i didn't expect the next tas to be released so soon. As last time im going to edit this once i finish watching but its really late for me right now so I wont get the chance until much later. Still leaving a comment to help boost cuz you deserve the recognition.
Yeah, I also wasn't expecting to upload so soon after my previous TAS. Although, I've had this idea for a while now and decided to finally start working on it after I had finished Neon Heights. As you can imagine this took way longer to make compared to my usual TAS videos so I'm likely going to take a longer break before making anymore TAS content.
I had an idea of how this was gonna go and around turn 18 I was like “trust the process” cause it was getting kinda dicey there 😂😂. But it all turned out how I expected! Great video as always!!
This reminds me of when I was playing with my brother and mutual friends of ours back in the mid 2000s and 3 of us got a block on turn one (only 1 star though) and we went absolutely insane! Also, I'll never not laugh at the Quiz minigame lmao
I always love how much time and effort you put into these tases. You already did something similar, starting with a 9 star deficit and turning around and winning the game, but I think it would be fun to pick a Mario party game, purposely give yourself the worst luck possible, but still win the game in the end. Could be a fun puzzle to work out!
That could be a really fun idea! Give myself terrible luck most of the game and give the CPU players great luck but then make myself win the game on the final turn.
Yeah, a reverse mushroom TAS could be interesting to try out. I often have people suggest unique ideas on how to shake things up so maybe I could do a short series exploring different ideas.
Here's my TAS challenge for you: Bowser's Warped Orbit cap challenge! Rules: -Play Bowser's Warped Orbit with maximum turns and maximum handicap -Get as many stars into circluation as you can -Only your opponents can land on Bowser spaces -You should have at least 50 stars by the end of the game -Have fun!!!
Here’s something he should add to make it more challenging: only you can land on DK spaces. And instead of ending with at least 50 stars, see if you can end with 99 stars.
I do that to reset the hidden blocks. The game keeps track of where they have been and won't repeat any of the blue spaces they've just been at but exiting the game resets this.
Once I tried to tie a dice roll, but it was never happening but then I thought it made sense that you can’t tie, the turn order makes sense how to decide, but if you tie at the end of the game and roll the same number does it decide the turn order like Mario Party DS if you don’t tie for first
You decide to play a casual 20 turn game of Mario Party and somehow manage to get 99 stars and 999 coins! I would say go get a lottery ticket after but I feel you would have used up all of your luck on that one game of Mario Party.
@@BeastlyN64You know, you COULD accomplish this 99-Star 999-Coin goal faster if you started each player (including yourself) with a 9-star handicap, then relied on Golden Mushrooms rather than Magic Lamps to obtain stars. Maybe then the total Star threshold among players could reach 99-100 in only TEN turns - which is how many turns you USUALLY like to do your TASes in.
@@BeastlyN64Oh, and one little detail I forgot to mention: Reversals could help too. Either through Reverse Mushrooms or through Bowser's Reverse Curse.
@@BeastlyN64As for the board to do it on, I'd say Spiny Desert. This is because you might be able to use the mirage stars to your advantage so as to cash in a single extra space.
Also, I think you could probably do this a LOT faster if you gave EVERYONE (including yourself) a 9-star handicap at the beginning, then stole everyone else's stars with Chance Time once everyone reaches 25 stars. How about that? (Maybe even in 10 turns if you're wise enough with Golden Mushrooms and/or Reversals in EVERYONE'S hands...)
Yeah, using handicaps it would be possible to pull this off in 10 turns. I just initially wanted to do this without handicaps because the idea of getting all 99 stars while on the board was a fun challenge. Using golden mushrooms instead would be the way to go! I would just need to RNG manipulate to get a good star cycle each time just so it's possible for all players to buy 2 or more stars every turn and also land on a blue space containing a hidden block.
That's gotta be the most absurd first turn of Mario Party of all time
I wonder what the odds are of that happening in a real game of Mario party with friends..
