Easy to use touch screen, can stop and re-set time th-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB and temp at any point in the cooking process, unlike some of these (an Ultrean model we returned) that need to time down first to re-set, which waste power and time. Stays cool externally and the 3 beeps when done aren't that bad, 5 beeps for Shake reminder on the pre-sets. So far chiken, pork chops, grilled cheese, hot dogs, asparagus with prosciutto, frozen sweet potato fries, have all turned out really well. Holds 4 average drummies which works well for 2 people. The recipe booklet is great. This size unit doesn't take up too much space on the counter-top so that's a bonus. We're looking forward to using it even more in the summer instead of the oven, to keep the house cooler when we aren't barbequing. Less cleanup than with an oven. The detachable inner basket is easy to use, no problem with the screws as some have commented, but a simple screw driver would remedy that if it happens. We really love this little gizmo!!
Brother I'm a new viewer and a viewer for life! I'm 50 years old and have been cooking all my life but I new with the air fryers. Thank you very much for sharing your videos Man it was a big big help!
Best looking fried chicken I've seen without being fried .... air frying is the way to go! Oh my goodness, I would have love to take a bite of it. Love that u can open that air fryer anytime u want to.
Doug, you are so cool !, I like your down to earth approach in presenting your food videos, I have fun watching them, sometimes you make me chuckle !, you are very good at presenting the products you bring the folks, with your precise explanations of functions and results, mixed with small doses of entertaining humor. You are a pleasure to watch, thank you for the fun & education !!.
@@COOKINGWITHDOUG I know what I did wrong as I didnt do the egg wash. I love the Kentucky Kernel!! Im 64 so have only been doing "gadgets" for a couple years but am having a ball!! Thank you Doug. Where is your online cookbook at??
Doug, I made chicken legs using your air fryer fried chicken recipe. The only difference was instead of the pink salt I used Weber "Kickin' Chicken". What a hit that meal was!!!!!! My husband and grandson just raved. But.....guess what? I used my Ninja Foodie in Air Crisp. Worked great and was a snit to clean up! Thank you for the cooking lesson!!!! You inspired me!
😋 I gotta stop watching these videos after dark 🍗🤤 Just got an air fryer. Looks like I won’t be going to any fried chicken joints for a while. Made air fried chicken the other day, came out crunchy and delicious in less than 20 minutes.
Yum! Mama don't fry chicken no more.... If you love Nathan's fries, check out their onion rings....you won't be disappointed!( coming from a girl from Brooklyn that used to go to Nathan's all the time!)
PLEASE, Doug, do a review of the EVO oil sprayer. They are expensive and I am wondering if I should invest in one. Very mixed reviews online. Love your videos!!
Doug! Love your videos, my wife and I have been binging all week. You have been having us TEMPTED on the June oven, and I gotta ask a question. How does the air fryer on the June compare to a dedicated air fryer? Been watching your June vids and it looks great but is it just as good?
If Nathan’s is your second favorite fries, what’s your first favorite fries? BTW, I can’t get Nathan’s Fries where I live near Kansas City, Missouri. Bummer.
Yes I’m that newbie....just got mine....thanks. Hope you do a potato 🥔 in Air Fryer because I did mine with two pork chops and the potato came out hard so had to throw it out 😢 any tips Dough ? Maybe cooking time is different for both ?
Doug, my Daughter has gotten me an Vortex 6 fir this past Mother’s Day( the same exact one your cooking in) and I have already cooked in it twice. First, I baked an whole chicken and today I’ve cooked an chuck roast . I Googled the recipes for both meats but, before the suggested/recommended cook times and temps were completed I noticed that the meats looked overly cooked, (burnt ). I am a newbie at Air Fryer cooking but I must admit that I’m a pretty good cook in the kitchen. Both times my meat turned out overly dark, burnt and dried out. I was embarrassed to feed either of them to my family. I figured that I must have to tweak the cook times and temps for air fryer cooking. Please help. In this economy I can’t afford to waste my groceries like this. 🥵. Any ideas, suggestions or recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks In Advance.
I’m trying to figure out why mine doesn’t come out like this. I follow EVERYTHING down to the same type of oil you told us about before and when the same amount of time as well as asking Alexa. And it cooks BUT the breading is falling off and it’s taste floury. Something not right
Shake off the xtra flour...the flour should not look caked on...and are you spraying oil until you see no white of the flour...and finally what size and brand is your air fryer
Alexia rosemary sea salt frozen fries.. Tech nathan's is my favorite but I can't eat 2much because it makes me feel like I'm getting fat after the 5th crinkle 😅🤣😂🙃

A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Do you oil your fries before cooking or no?
Wicked, yum
So what is the use of air frying if u use oil
Air fryers use LESS oil
Does your fryer ever smoke if grease from the chicken drips on the bottom??
No...u would have saw it in the video
@@COOKINGWITHDOUG i realize that,, however, I know of a few that have tricks up their sleeve to keep this from happening, so just thought I'd ask.

Great, now my screen has a bite mark on it. Lol
Is there a law I don't know about that states all chicken must be coated in flour or bread crumbs? Yuck. Or am I un-American?
