Doug is absolutely right (as usual). You can’t judge by eye with an air fryer. It cooks so quickly that it’s super easy to overcook. An instant thermometer is must. Cooking times are guidelines only. You have to check frequently and stop when the correct internal temp is reached.

It’s my experience that breasts definitely need to come out at 165, dark meat (thighs and drumsticks) actually do better at 175-180. They have a lot more fat to render as well as connective tissue. So my advice is take thighs and drumsticks to 175-180 internal, you will taste the difference!

We rinse the chicken with boiling hot water and vinegar and lemon. My family is from the islands so that is how I learned to clean poultry.. Tried this recipe in the foodi ninja and my family loved it!! Thank you😊😊😊

My husband used to deliver chicken to slaughter houses. I tried your chicken and it is great.....I know this is months after u did this video but I just got mine and I love it. It is just like yours.

It’s 2021 and I just bought my air fryer same brand as this. Thanks for sharing this recipe! There is only 1 recipe for this unit in their website. All recipes are for the instapot pressure cooker with airfryer hat(top)
I have a great KGourma 6 quart. air fryer. I take very good care of it. I don't put it in the dishwasher. I just hand wash everything it's holding up very well. I only use silicone tools. I'm very gentle with it. Does just fine. And it doesn't scratch when you put the insert in correctly. It has a certain way that you can see it in there. If you don't you go Uh Oh

Also, I HATE that paprika doesn't have much taste because it's so gorgeous! LOL! Thank you for a wonderful video. Getting ready to cook chicken leg quarters in my air fryer for the first time. Love your video. I have the newest one with 2 drawers. You mentioned you were baking the chicken. I’m courteous as to why you didn’t choose “bake” instead of “air fry” with your settings. @@EjCoolSwagg Ok so basically the time in the air fryer was off because every fryer has their own speed. I followed the general “check a quarter of the way and spray oil, then flip half way through” rule. But I used 20 minutes at 400degrees. The taste tho... AMAZING. I will state that I let it marinate overnight and then air fryed it. That really had a nice kick!
