That's what happens when an *_automative designer_* tries to describe graphics. The _shoulder line_ is NOT out of place, that is if you let your mind-eye complete it. The line runs from the rear _haunch_ and through the tail light and wraps around the back end of the car. The line _"break"_ above the rear wheel is meant to create an illusion of haunches at the rear section of the car, again letting the mind complete the picture. Just like printers, automative designers don't seem to understand the *_graphic design_* aspect of automative design.
@maskawathrasha485 🤣 Not at all! It's just that you'd expect a *_designer_* to understand these things. As a Graphic Designer, it's quite frustrating when designers don't seem to grasp the purpose of such subtle design cues.😁
With the ban of ICE cars here in Europe in just a few years, this will be a collectors item as one of those great cars we used to have before having EV's
Love your design reviews! That rear character line does intersect through the center of the taillights, which then divide through the entire tailgate, so it is cohesive. I think the price is fair considering all the unique factory CF body panels but would like to see the decals painted instead and the large mid-body triple graphic/stripe carry all the way through top to bottom like the race car. I’m OK with the Avus wheels but have to admit, the more IMSA race car inspired BBS or something like the Rotoform Aerodisc type wheels would knock this out of the park!
If it had a screaming V10 bi-turbo and extra wider wheel arches plus a WRC style double rear wing the 200K asking price would be justified. This just has a special Audi trademark paint job with a rear wing and nice wheels.
@@AndrewTSq we haven't seen any times yet so I'm not going be the dummy that days stuff before driving it or seeing it perform. + everyone thats driven it literally everyone has said it's phenomenal and u can't feel the extra weight.
I've never really cared for Audi's recent platforms, but purely from a standpoint pf looks, it *does* look good, I *love* those wheels (they look like one of Volk's recent TE37 evolutions), the decals are nice, BUT that front fascia being ALL piano black kinda ruins it. From any distance, all you see under the headlights is just the big black hole. They should have done the Audi logo in white and added some actual colored trim in the front, cause it's just too much black in one big area. Overall, still way better looking than the current BMW line, and I've been a lifelong M-car lover and owner (that love has started to fade quickly with the G series, though, but I'll never sell my M2 CS).
Not speacial enough. If they really wanted to justify the enormous price, they should've just dropped the R8 V10 in it with the Huracan Perf power figures. Certainly the price would've been justified and it would have been a heck of a lot more special.

You sound like you've been waiting for the moment to say all of this your whole life, lol. But yeah, I definitely see what you mean.

I drove one of these on a track in Poland yesterday, ours was number 009/660
10:28 bro doesn't this line go all the way through the rear lights, it has a continuation?
yeah i think that’s what they intended but the inward curve of the side makes it look kinda out of place.
GMK be like :3

This BEAUTIFUL THING is already sold-out worldwide - you should have made this video a few months ago, immediately after the launch.
Great you open by giving the car's name. I couldn't tell from the thumbnail since 90% of the name is blocked by the car 😅
I guess the auto industry is going to get worse after the M5 CS

Crazy the m5 cs is still the benchmark after all these years. Absolutely blows this out the water.
wow its almost as if the m5 cs not only weighs lesser than the audi but also has slight more power and better aerodynamics, who woulda thought, right?
The Mercedes GT is kind of the benchmark
BMW fixed this with their overweight M5.
@@khalilmontgomery7165 mercedes GT is slow asf.. doesn't even do 10s to the QM.

Audi needs to change their look at least once every 50 years
true at this point they change their design more than Honda does on their civic
Honestly, I can´t decide if the livery looks cool or tacky
‘Excluding destination fee’ lol what about the fat markup they’ll put?
Never late for school!
This thing is rarer than the new ferrari "hypercar"
Could you upload a vid about the Porsche 992.2 GT3?
Nothing new
Imagine paying 100k for a paintjob 😂

RIP the Audi RS6.

Are you gonna take a look to the new Petrol MINI JCW?
It’s probably already Sold out 😅😅😮
i wish they made more of them, like imagine a non livery RS6 GT.
You can get it without the livery
M5 CS kicks VAG RS6 GT wathevers ass.
The Price of an actual Supercar? $198K?
Guess the M5cs will remain the epitome of all german 4-doors
Nah the new m5 looks like the Honda accord wannabe
Good thing that Peter specifically mentioned M5 CS not the new M5.

Meh. Crazy expensive.
the wheels are actually from a german youtubers wheel brand called "rotiform" (jp performance). i think
