- This is our second video about unreal blackout tattoos. The blackout tattoo originally started out as a way of covering-up all those regrettable tattoos and was a cheap alternative to laser removal. The blackout tattoo has now become a trend in it's own right. From completely black sleeves and full body suits to blocks of geometric shapes and patterns. But beware the whole process can take some time as the designs may take several sittings to get the right coverage and be very painful in the process.

Most of these are freshly done which is very deceiving to viewers who are unfamiliar with heavy black work. How they look when they're freshly done versus the tattoo fully healed is a completely different story. Not only is the precise execution of the tattoo by the artist incredibly critical but the after care of said tattoo is even more critical. It would be nice to see pictures from these artists with their works fully head. The biggest misconception with this type of tattooing is Instagram and tattoo artists who claim "One Shot" black outs. Touch ups and multiple sessions are a must in order for it to be true black and even then it still may not be fully saturated and blacked out.

I had an ugly tat made centuries ago, it was just a blue blob sitting on my shoulder, and in a sudden moment of clarity decided to do a cover up with a big heavy black star on it. Now I'm crazy about blackouts. Stiil, I like them to have shapes, meaning, something creative about them.

Is it possible to use a special paint that glows at night from the daytime sun? Well, there is such a plastic that absorbs light during the day and glows at night. You can even use skin-colored ink and the tattoo will not be visible during the day, but at night it will be visible, it will glow.
This paint can even be used for "graffiti" and paint on the walls.
You can even paint your car.

Must take a long time to get one arm covered entirely in deep black ink, let alone an entire body. Some of those were really exceptional art.

it's not permenent. the whole point of getting tattoos is that it's permenent...
blackouts are the new lion, tribal, rose and all that other common stuff. I do like when they get creative but a big black area is just dumb

I like it when they go over it with white, silver and grey and maybe some red in certain areas. But all black nothing else idk
@@user-hn6og3gg5n they have uv ink so im sure with some tweaking they could probably make something similar.
@@JL-rx7ou Yea i like when they go over it with white but the problem is sometimes they have to go over it 3-4 times just to get it to stick. There is a guy named remmy who blacked out most of his body suit "which was sick before he did that" and hes been covering it with white and its hard to tell he had anything done in some places. Id say with time theyll make colors that can go over black just fine but as of right now it takes a bit of work to get colors over black but when done right like you said it looks sick
@@mech0p yeh I know who your talking about I watch his channel sometimes. What he did the first time when he did his blackout suit looked amazing he did a bunch of white and silver with some other colors and looked great. But yeh he’s been worked on dozens of times to get the blacks saturated and then dozens more for the silvers and whites. He’s lucky since all his artists give him friends prices because if not that suit would of cost him easily 50-75k with the amount of non stop work he does on it
