Tires: Vredestein Wintrac Pro on the OEM Camaro SS wheel setup. Would not recommend driving in accumulation more than 3 inches on the street. You’ll be beached until you can get momentum rolling. For deep snow driving a 18 inch wheel would probably be killer to get the car moving faster from a stop and do fine but this is an example of a the worst case scenario.
Hahaha in snow this deep it’s as good as useless. Gotta dislodge the heavy stuff somehow. Snow driving in snow and ice mode is actually really good though. Keeps the car straights and avoids the tires from slipping when applying throttle in a turn. But getting out of deep stuff. It won’t do much.
I think the 305 would be too wide to get going in the deep stuff but shouldn’t be a problem when the car is rolling. I’m on 275 standard SS rear and 245 up front. Was thinking of doing 245 out back but our winters in NY are non existent these days. Didn’t want to sacrifice all the dry weather driving grip.
