I love that you’re making more beginner friendly videos for Fusion, Casey. It helps bring more people into the Resolve community and that’s always a major win. Please also make more intermediate and advanced videos for Fusion, VFX and compositing in general. That said, thank for all the Resolve resources you put out. It’s invaluable!
I'm a beginner to fusion and your tutorials r really helpful!
Extremely slick. Thank you!
so helpful and so cool
That's a pretty awesome way to do it
Great job Casey, love it!
ive do soo many amazing things and grew my tiktok to 200K thanks to your help. PRICELESS
Or use the sPolygon. From what I understand the shapes are vectors but the polygon with a background is still raster and heavier when it comes to complicated compositions.
There is no sPolygon in Fusion. Only Ellipse, Ngon, Rectangle, Star and booleans of these.
Sweet!
Thanks!
thank you
I think BM needs to refine it's tools to make this method more simple.
You know.. just like you would make text+ and a background- boom you made a text!
that's how shapes also should be...
But thank you for the hacks!
noice
First and best
Would there be a way to draw a shape lets say a "cartoon" face then match move your drawing to a video of a face? Or is it just going to be a lot of key frames?
I have been using circle and line and box jpg files, resizing them for illustrations and the like. No more! I am going to make Fusion Macros for these! Thanks.
Does resolve/fusion have the onion skin (preview faded the previous and/or next frames) feature? It is really great for 2D hand drawn animation. :) I'd love to have it. :)
do you have a video on essential nodes?
Anyway to take off the artifacts in videos?
Is there a way to use gradients with sPolygons native?
On today's episode of Fusion with Bob Ross...
so what is the fastest way to make a shape with different fill and stroke color in fusion ?
Is this for Resolve 18.6 or it does not matter? (I just watch the first minute of the video)
Really I find it faster to make shapes with affinity designer or photo and save them as pngs, then manipulate them in davinci. You can be way more creative with your designs that way.
Imagine Fusion but with Figma's capabilities to design stuff 🤯
Sadly the new version is so buggy which is surprising. I had to roll back. I will wait for the update.
“New version”
Are you referring to v18.6 as buggy?
@@JoshKaufmanstuff yes. Crashes a lot. If you delete a clip then everything after it gets audio issues. It's not just me. The forum is full of people with these issues.
@@DrOrion I've been seeing a lot of crashes with v.18.5 also, however I've been dealing with several variables such as experimental graphics and competing programs operating at the same time on my computer . .
What would be the last "stable" version that you have used?
WoW, THIS MEANS NOW WE CAN CREATE SOUTH PARK LIKE CARTOONS AND REUSE THE CHARACTERS ETC BY EXPORTING THEM EASILY!!!
Adobe Illustrator is DONE
