    This video answered two major things I was trying to figure out: how to retime an animation and delay certain parts and how to keep certain key frames fixed while allowing me to stretch out the animation. It’s like you read my mind lol.

    I feel like these tutorials are the foundation for what's still coming.. It's like you're preparing us and building a solid foundation for what's important to know! I love the workflow and ease to follow along! I gotta say - and plz take this as positive feedback/ constructive criticism, I was strongly tempted to pass on this video because the thumbnail & the title was targeting a specific group, maybe on the advanced level, that I didn't feel compelled to watch it.. but because I already watched your previous videos, enjoyed your way of explaining, and learned a lot, I forced myself to watch it, and I'm glad that I did, because this definitely was one of the most important and helpful tutorials I needed to watch. Again, thank you for making these videos, and thank you for the free effects too 🫡

I used to work with graphics and animation in the previous century, then stopped for a long time, and am just picking it up again as a hobby/possible extra income, so I'm just so thankful you and others are giving your time and energy to make these current tools less daunting, for everyone and for free! And thank you! Right now I need to mainly speed up my Workflow In edit page to have more time for fancy stuff in Fusion, so that may be the idea for some future video:D But ofc. It mainly depends on you, I don't know if you rather want to focus more on Fusion stuff.
      Anyway some scripting would be useful too. For example, some script for auto updating bin when you add new stuff to folder on your system. That would would be a huge time saver! Especially when you are downloading lots of the stuff frequently to add it in video.
      I heard it is possible to script that, but i never saw proper tutorial for it.

    Thank you for your efforts! Unfortunately, I can't get this method of saving a Setting as an Edit Page effect to work in v.18.6., mainly I think because I can't find the directories or else because I actually need to compress it into a .drfx file or something. When I click on the three dots to find the effects directory, Windows 11 just dumps me on the desktop.

    Hey, thats a great video, thank you for that. I have a small question though and maybe you can help me with it? I created some kind of very simple transition effect in fusion and I'll need to use this effect very often, so I wanted to make it useable from the edit page. The problem is: The animation done in fusion starts at frame 1 and ends at frame 30;when I cut the beginning of the clip I want to apply my effect to in the edit page, the effect disappears. I guess its only used for the frames I actually animated in fusion, but that are "gone" due to editing. is there any solution for this? Saving it as a transition didn't help sadly. Maybe you have an idea? :)

    Ryan - Excellent tutorial! Quick question. You brought up the keyframe stretcher. Is there a way to keep Fast Noise rolling inside a clip that uses a keyframe stretcher?

    • @RyanOsborneUK
      @RyanOsborneUK  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Darren!
      I actually didn't realise that the keyframe stretcher paused the seethe rate of fast noise. Had a play around in a blank Fusion comp before I got back to you here.
      The short answer is yes, you can exclude the fast noise from the keyframe stretcher by merging the fast noise to the node tree AFTER the keyframe stretcher in the chain (so it won't be affected by the stretcher so to speak). But I've got a feeling this might not always be ideal, depending on what you're creating.
      Let me know if this helps you. If it doesn't, I'd be interested to know why, to see if we can get to the bottom of it together.
