Received mine today but noticed the ball joint boots do not have an airtight fit. With enough extension it seems the boot would let dirt in. Has anybody noticed this?
Why did you choose the standard over the heavy duty? My GX is a daily driver and I don’t think the added cost of the heavy duty would be worth it to me.
I thought I answered you, but TH-cam is showing that I did not. Sorry... I went standard because of the same reasons. I don't do extreme wheeling, but I do take it out and push the limits. Haven't had any issues so far with this. Some people just like to buy heavy duty, and then drive to the mall LOL.
I finally got mine installed. Just posted a video if you are interested. Very tight fit, which is a good thing I guess. I think you will be as pleased as I am with the installation. Have fun with the install!
I'm about to pull the trigger on these for my 05 T4R. Have you installed them yet? If so, how long have you been running on them? How much offroading do you do? Thoughts so far? Thank you in advance

Most aftermarket UCAs don't have a boot at all and are open. I grease mine often and keep fresh grease at the ball joint.
