  • Hi guys! This video discusses how to analyze circuits using the Thevenin’s Theorem. Basically we can convert a given circuit to its equivalent Theveninn circuit by finding the Thevening voltage Vth and Thevenin resistance Rth of the circuit and connect them in series across the terminals where the load is considered. I illustrate how to find Vth and Rth from the example we will solve. Thevenin’s theorem is advantageous to use when we are considering terminals with varing load as we would not need to recompute the circuitomce we start to vary the load.     lods panu po naging series yung 1ohm and 5ohm? diba po magiging floating wires na yung two resistor na yon since na open circuit na yung independent current source.

      Hi Dex, i mean series yung 1 ohm at 5 ohm resistors kapag hinanap yung thevenin voltage across Rload :)

    Sir yung 1 ohm po pwd po ba sa final circuit ko na po i add di ko po sinali ang 1 ohm sa pagkuha ng Rth eh. So silbi Value ng Rth is 3 ohms lang po

      Hi MR. MIRANDA! Using ohms law kung shorted yung voltage mo, means 0V, dapat
      R = 0 is zero din V = IR..

      3Vth-96 + Vth= 24
      Distribute o lipat sa kabila yung 96
      3Vth+1Vth=96+24
      4Vth=120
      Divide by 4 both sides
      Vth=30volts.

      Hi Budz, ginawa ko lang na variable yung resistor load across terminal a-b kaya naging 6,16 at 36 dahil yun yung advantage ng thevenin theorem, pwede mo bagubaguhin ang rload without repeating the circuit analyis.

      Skl technique ko, pag yung both nodes ng 2 resistors ay parehas yung parallel connection nila
      pero kapag sa iisang node lang sila parahas at magkaiba na dun sa isa, Series

      Hii 7mos ago na pero baka makatulong sa iba hehe try mo po sa scical:
      For variable Vo, use X (press --> "Alpha" + *Button ')'* ).
      For = sign, press --> "Alpha" + *Button "CALC"*.
      Once done na po mag-input ng equation, press --> "Shift" + *Button "CALC"*.
      Then press "equals" lang po hanggang sa may lumabas po na "X = 30..... L-R=0" parang ganyan po^^
