    Thanks for the video! I kind of want to get crf300 as my first bike, got registered to take the MSF, completey agree with what you said on scratching it! Looking forward to hopefully getting this little bike.

      Sure thing! Awesome, if you’re starting with the MSF course you’re already doing things the right way! I’m glad you enjoyed it, I’ll be starting a beginner rider series soon!

    Dude, when you have your helmet on, your voice and cadence sounds like Chris Pratt from Parks and Recreation! It's uncanny!
    Enjoying your videos; the in-depth impressions from a typical rider are nice to have compared to all the pro/off-road crazy skilled people on TH-cam reviewing the bike. I think your comments will relate way more to the average person interested in the 300.

      Deep Respect Brendan, Chris Pratt is one of my favorite actors of all time! Parks and Recreations is a hilarious show!
      I’m especially glad these videos help, it’s been great riding and since my riding envelope has expanded to the off-road segment, it’s refreshing and fun. So many things to work on. Thanks again for the Chris Pratt remark. V/R Jimmy

      @@motormigo3204 I'm in a similar situation to you. Riding for 3 years after a long, long break. And I'm also transitioning to a much lighter bike, and want to do forest service roads and some trails. My 500+ pound bike is not something I want to pick up again. Anyway, greetings from the western coast of Canada!

    They should've just put the cb500x on a massive diet. They should put the crf300L on a diet still, too. The crf300rl doesn't seem to fit in well anywhere. The new dual sport crf300 and crf450 lineup was kinda disappointing.

    • @motormigo3204
      @motormigo3204  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      From the reviews of the cb500x, it’s a capable bike but at 434lbs it definitely need a diet.

      @@motormigo3204 If the cb500x was 350lbs the rally would have no place. The crf300l needs a diet, too.

      th-cam.com/video/oOD9NnTevH0/w-d-xo.html watch this video and tell me what you think. Seat height, sure an accommodation to lower the seat could be made but lowering the frame would not help off-road. Are you supposed to be flat footed? What are the limits?

      @@motormigo3204 It's not a dirt bike and shouldn't be set up like one. And yes, on the street you should be flat footed. If you ride like that on trails, slow technical stuff, you will at some point drop the bike...

    • @motormigo3204

      It’s not an mx dirt bike, but it is capable lightweight adv bike! The moniker of a rally bike is based on the premise of Dakar enduro rally events/setting. Now this bike isn’t of that high caliber but it’s certainly open to the rider to say whether you can press this thing off-road. As far as dropping the bike, you’ll really appreciate my channel 😂 I’ve dropped it many many times on video so you’ll enjoy that! I dropped the bike because I was testing my skills, I don’t care if it gets scratched, ride it like no tomorrow.
