I also appreciate that deep intimacy in a relationship. It's hard to catch the big fish in shallow waters. Expectations can ruin lives. I expect a lot more from myself than from others, and I accept people without expecting them to change for me. Then, sometimes, I just run away for a bit.
I solo camp and hike, mostly around New England. Mother nature is my favorite therapist and she's always available. I see something of me in you.

My wife has your energy and love of life, but I had to learn very early on that she is a free spirit and cannot be caged, that’s why we are still best friends and still married at 42 years. My daughter on the other hand is 24 and she is a lighting designer for concerts ( I’m so jealous of her) she’s truly amazing and is very passionate but she still calls me when she’s had a rough night. Oh girl! Thank you for being so strong and standing up to the bullies in this world. It is so easy to have loose lips on a keyboard but I can guarantee that half of them wouldn’t have the same type of bravado in person. Which makes you so unique and why we love you so. You are the same through and throughout. You lead by example and set out to make your situation more relatable by your poetic nature. Sadly people want to tear others down with jealousy and insecurities but it takes one person to stand up and put them in place and sometimes that is all they need to see their errors and then there are the select few that never are reachable and they just have to be taken with a grain of salt. And I say that because nobody should be ignored. And there is always something that comes from the interaction. But I think you already know that. I have told you before that you are a natural writer and if I didn’t then I sure have thought it. I believe anything you write will be worth reading. You have such a way with words and connect with your audience. Looking forward to more of your free talk content but am always happy just to see anything from you. Sometimes all you need to do with these TH-cam creators is read the click bated headlines. Like this one. Of course she's in one or more relationships; look at her. She's not quitting TH-cam, why would she? Then proceeds to say she's not any time soon. Just attention based. TH-cam is a attention seekers new best friend, and funds them quite well. It amazes me that when somebody like you "puts yourself out there", with all your human vulnerabilities and whatever, then people verbally attack you with online comments. You are clearly a strong, self-aware, young lady. Don't let the haters get you down.
Also....... I found your comment real interesting when you said something like you're not sure about marriage because you want a partner to stay with you because he (or she) always wants to be with you -- not because you're locked-in. I've been married 37 years. There is a certain comfort to having "your other person" as part of your life long-term. It's not like a prison sentence; people can and do get divorced. But the threshold for divorcing should be a higher bar than when a casual couple breaks-up. Especially if you ever want kids then being married helps solidify the family definition.

Haven't seen one of your videos in a bit and it appears you have a lot more viewers now yeahhh 🎉! I always appreciated that your videos are mostly of you alone or with your pup and having a great time. Makes me feel not so bad always being alone with a dog or two or three 😁. I started watching your videos when I broke my spine after a car accident and was in bed for a year. I wished that I could've been doing what your were doing. I don't know if, after watching your vlogs for quite a while now, whether you realize how mature and well grounded in life you really are. I suspect that many of your long term viewers have the same opinion as I do. Build on the strengths about life, reality, and your dreams as you go forward on your life's journey. Life is to be lived, and sometimes that might get sort of messy. But, that is how we learn and grow. Stay strong, determined, forward searching, and committed to living your best personal life. For, that is as much as most of us are truly able to do.
I love your videos. It is so nice to see kindred spirit and their adventures. I have lived a life very similar to yours and have done some really good epic adventures and have lived an incredible life. I have looked for someone to dance with most of my life. Someone to dance on the beach with, someone to dance around the fire with and someone just to dance with but alas, I never found that person. I have been in some good, some great and some outrageous relationships and don't regret any of them but I feel that time has run out and I need to live my best life for just me. Don't ever quit, don't stop looking for a dance partner, but always live for yourself.

I absolutely love the way that you narrate your videos. Everything about you is so incredibly feminine and that is something really hard to find these days. Not only is it really hard to find for a man but it's also something that is the natural female state and is incredibly fulfilling and conducive to a woman being happy and without it many women are starving for fulfillment and happiness.
Especially as an independent woman .. I won't go into whether that's a good or bad thing. Everyone has the right to be however they wish, but the fact that you can remain so true to femininity being an independent woman is a very good thing.

Just a quick message to those who give Alyssa a bad time doing her youtube stuff. Who are you to judge? If you don't like what you see don't watch. It's like good old TV, switch channel. I think she is a stunning young woman living her life as she sees fit. She is beautiful, smart and has a good mix between humor an thoughtfulness. Very enjoyable to watch. She deserves nothing but love and support from all of us.
Lyss I love how you draw your audience in while still remaining private and the poetic side is really what I love, you are a master at telling a story and I feel a lot of us relate to those stories but got to say it takes guts to just be that free spirit while balancing a camera at the same time and by the way you do great sales pitches... Snap on that!
