One of my favorite albums of all time. There wasn't a single bad song on this entire record. Every single song could have been a single (and trust me, a lot of them where, they did *real* well off this one)
im 15 then and still defining what i want in music....walk to a record store...and ask a stone baked record seller....what tape should i buy? ...and handed me supergrass.....never look back then ....thank you supergrass....for guiding me....and of course thank you....stonerman.

fucking fave english rock track ever. hands down. this man is so talented, he wrote this song at 15 years old. i've been to countless supergrass shows, and gaz coombes solo shows, just the most rocking dude to come out the uk rock scene
Danny: Where's the trolley boy? Nicholas: In the freezer. Danny: Did you say "cool off?" Nicholas: No, I didn't say anything. Danny: Shame. Nicholas: Well, there was the bit that you missed where I distracted him with the cuddly monkey then I said "play time's over" and I hit him in the head with the peace lily. Danny: You're off the fuckin' chain!
It's 2020 and this 25+ year old song still kicks as every bit as much ass now as it did back when it was released - what an awesome song! Gaz was the King of Cool!!
And it ended a perfect satire film and one of the most best and complexity written films in history and all time Edgar Wright's 2ND Film and his best out of his Simon Pegg & Nick Frost Films known as 'The Cornetto Trilogy' Hot Fuzz From 2007
Danny: I never shot a man before. Sgt. Angel: It's not like it's something you get used to. Danny: Yeah... Want to go to the bouncy house to take our minds off it?
What makes this band stands out imo is the brilliant songwriting mixed with very interesting chord progressions. Like for real in some songs they go all over the place while still being catchy. Also number girl definitely got inspired by them
“Want anything from the shop?”
“Cornetto”
ALL HAILL CORNETO
😂😂
Ah yes Hot Fuzz
@@lapdmasta3331 Isn't that from Shaun of the dead.
@@David-ve5iq same thing also

Just discovered this band after watching Hot Fuzz in Sept 2020. I'm a new fan.
i’ve known about this band for a while but hot fuzz definitely made me appreciate them more
I`ve loved them since I first heard them in the 1990s!!
Yarp, me too! Came here right after i watched it
Edger Winter has a great music taste and brings awesome bands to light through soundtracks
Hot fuzz classic film Great soundtrack
Never gets old. Like Teenage Kicks for the 90s.
Ed O'Meara yes or Borstal Breakout
Yes! Heard this when I was 16
The undertones are the shit
I remembered having this track in a cassette tape rewinding over n over until the tape snapped!
Thank you Hot Fuzz for turning me on to this awesome song.
Great movie, great song :)
Tre' Jones That movie started my path to indie rock obsession😂
Hahaha, welcome to the party, Kirst :D

Sergeant: big hand says it's time to rock and roll.
Most underrated album in the history of britpop
Agreed 100% it’s one of my favourites
Except for In It For The Money.
How is it underrated if it was the best debut album since The Beatle´s Please, Please me
Agree
@@jporraseditwho says that???
I'm glad I bought their cassette when I was a teenager. All killer no filler. What an underrated band.
Sergeant Butterman, our little hand says it's time to rock and roll.

Insanely underrated, I like it just as much as Alright, if not more
This is my all time fav anthem of theirs.
If hit close
To be honest I don't like Alright, alright? They made much better sounds before
Like gaz said at the time, everyone's second favourite band
Let’s face it, there not underrated
Going out is my favourite but this is still a banger
I still listen to this when im driving. Absolutely brilliant
I don't listen to this while driving, cause I then speed and get caught on speed camera

Here comes my mum
Well she, she knows what I've done
Just tell them the truth
You know where it's from
You've blackened our name
Well you, you should be ashamed

What's wrong, you got brain freeze?
why in the hell can't anyone write catchy, rock songs like this anymore?
Car Radio by Spoon kinda feels like this. Wouldn't be surprised if it was inspired by it.
The lyrics and vocals aren't as fun though
The libertines can

I love songs like this, they are so damn cool, the 90’s on do the best decades for cool weird alternative music.
Oh my gosh! Just watch Hot Fuzz. Blast from the past, I haven’t heard Super Grass in forever. Such an awesome song.

Keep your Oasis reunion- these lads were the real deal!
Amen, man. It's a shame Supergrass were around at the same time as all the Oasis-Blur rivalry bollocks. That's all people were interested in.
Perfect Rock n Roll.
