Underrated 3 piece band. I love power trios. My favourite song of theirs. Epic mutton chops. Of course I found it through Hot Fuzz. The swans gone missing from the castle...

I disliked the whole Brit-pop era in music but Supergrass stood head and shoulders above the lot. They had such a punk vibe to their music and they frankly didn't care if they are ever going to be hailed as the greatest band on the planet. Meanwhile, rest of the phonies with half their talent got labelled with those monikers . Also and above all, they didn't take themselves too seriously which was a refreshing thing to see.

That CROWD should have stayed at home that night. Supergrass deserve the collective jumping and dancing more than most of the bands who claim they have garnered the such. Tis' a downright shallow pity indeed.
