It’s hard to top the pure badass heaviness of SFTD but self titled, rated r, and Lullabies come rlly close. They still made great music after Lullabies but they lost that classic Qotsa edge.
Its like a work shop of what good modern song should sound like with a classic touch to it. Simultaneously vintage and new. No matter how long I've been hearing it or how many times Ive heard it back to back it never gets old. That's a good record.
"She said I'd throw myself away They're just photos after all" These lines are what convinced me that this band was truly awesome, and not just a fluke with 3's and 7's (I played Guitar Hero 3 then Rock Band and that was all I had heard from this band).
That is by far the most badass music video ever created. The creators should be ashamed of themselves for, not just setting the bar, but tearing it off and beating everyone’s head in with it

So... I think I'm okay now, she is happy, I'm happy, and we are friends, not like before, but still, friends.
I think that, If I would describe the whole situation, there's four musics that could give you an idea
The beginning would be Go With The Flow, the middle would be Don't Speak from No Doubt, the "end" would be Somebody That I Used To Know from Gotye and the stage we are now would be... Shiny Happy People
that intro riff is so awesome. I love technique

Had this on repeat from my 1st gen Zune all of 2006-2007.

One of the best rock songs of all time
Absolutely
yeah, really it's very hard to beat.
what a fucking band.
12 years later this is still this is the best music video for the best song off the best album.
You are right. Very right.
18 years later? Hello?
@@Kanondith Maybe look at when OP posted his comment LMAO
Definitely one of the hardest songs ever. The lyrics, instruments are amazing!
I can’t believe Dave grohl was in this band, foo fighters, and nirvana
And another 78 bands.
foo fighters and nirvana for sure....news to me that he was in Queens of the stone age
@@togonumber yh he filled in for a ehile
I think it was just a fill in for this song.
@@ethannavarro3755 a fill in for the whole album
Never get old ! Queens of the Stone Age is a iconic band - forever in my heart and my head
the best - my whole uni/college can be summed up with their songs
Happy 20th anniversary to the best album ever.
IM YOUNGER THAN THIS SONG?!?
Shut up. You just shut up. Nothing that came out when I was already an adult is 20 years old. You just shut your face. Lol
Heard this song plenty of times, yet the sudden intro still makes me jump a little lol also I am oddly obsessed with this video
why is this song just so good? the whole album is just 😩
This is the first ever Queens of the stone age song I've ever heard. Wow! Can't wait to hear what else they've done
You're gonna enjoy yourself kiddo! I'd recommend: Everything they've ever done ever including side projects and b-sides. It's all glorious :) have fun ahha
Carbons My first Queens of stone age album was back in 2002~3, loved it then, still loving it..
Aussie Mike I got my first only a few years ago, Rated R, listened to it on repeat for like a month haha
Mine was little sister when i was playing Midnight club. I actually never really noticed which band it was because I was so young, this was like 5-6 years probably. My brother got me into queens of the stone age and scrolled through some songs and I found the songs I heard as a kid. Amazing shit!
I'm in a QOTSA fever right now, I've heard this song many years ago but i've just found out Dave Grohl plays drums in this
My favorite music video of all time.
Indulgent to the apathy in heartbreak. The pretension of being expected to be 'okay'
Love it
Come on you know you love that line too " I want something good to die for, to make it beautiful to live." 👍
russell lamb I don’t love people copying other people’s liked comments because they are an uneducated Bitch
Russell Lamb my favorite part

These riffs are so good holy shit

Seek the TRUTH/WAY/LIFE - THAT is going with the Flow. I also love this song.
This album is a masterpiece. I wish Queens would make another one as rockin'
They did
i love lullabies to paralyze
and songs for the deaf
and rated r
and qotsa self titled debut
and i like ...like clockwork
5 out of 7 albums i really like
not big on era vulgaris or the newer villains
It’s hard to top the pure badass heaviness of SFTD but self titled, rated r, and Lullabies come rlly close. They still made great music after Lullabies but they lost that classic Qotsa edge.
@@Itzsfo0even Villains has its moments. The way you used to do, Feet don't fail me, Head like a haunted house, the evil has landed - great songs
I think this song is about the meaning of existence.

Trevor Belmond me too bro🤔
great memories
Omg you've reminded me why I love this song! :)
And Motorstorm for the PSP
exactly what I was gonna type
Its like a work shop of what good modern song should sound like with a classic touch to it. Simultaneously vintage and new. No matter how long I've been hearing it or how many times Ive heard it back to back it never gets old. That's a good record.
"She said I'd throw myself away
They're just photos after all"
These lines are what convinced me that this band was truly awesome, and not just a fluke with 3's and 7's (I played Guitar Hero 3 then Rock Band and that was all I had heard from this band).
"But I want something good to die for, to make it beautiful to live." Hits me right in the feels
That is by far the most badass music video ever created. The creators should be ashamed of themselves for, not just setting the bar, but tearing it off and beating everyone’s head in with it

Props to the keyboard player, playing such a difficult song.
Cannot stop listening to this song
One of my favourite videos. And the song ain't half bad, either.
Having a TH-cam evening tonight as I work.
Sometimes I listen to songs of them like Make it Wit chu, and I expected them to talk about like, I'll go through it with you, we're together, we can make it.
But he's actually talking about having sex, and how he can have it anytime, anywhere.

I am so sorry that I only discovered Queens of the Stone Age just now. This song, Go with the Flow, is fantastic. I think this song symbolizes everything great about American music.
Don’t be sorry. Discovering new music is half the fun. I’m excited for you to hear the rest of their works!
a suggestion; give "Little Sister" a listen. I'll bet you will love it!
Your point about American music is spot on. QOTSA is one of the last living icons of American rock bands.
Check out their whole catalogue! They have great tracks in all their eras
I first discovered it playing Asphalt 8 lol, good song btw.
You'0re gonna trip when you discover them crooked vultures my friend.
Still obsessed with the band and song after all these years! One of my favorite lines, "I want something good to die for to make it beautiful to live"
still searching.... :(
these visuals r insane
This is my favorite song by queen of the stone age and what got me into them
My entire childhood was splitted in two, watching and playing Star Wars, and listening to GorillaZ, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo fighters, Moby, Franz Ferdinand and a long etc. Such good old days
Sounds like a good childhood 👍🏻
Same...
It might seem split in retrospect, but the truth is, there’s nothing two ways about appreciating the art you love, whether that be music or movies
Good days indeed! That was my childhood too! Except I was playing Final Fantasy.
i’m 18 and i just discovered all these artists. it’s pretty sad but at least i now know whats good music👌

Nice!!! Best one I’ve read in ages dude!
Thank you
"I want something good to die for, to make it beautiful to live" so can relate ..
That lyric stands out majorly. Agreed.
It's like The Queens of the Stone Age took a sexy drive with some Juggalos through a White Stripes video and ended up in the 60's.
Ginger Elvis!
I laughed so hard at this
And yet it's greater than the sum of its parts.

The song is badass and the video is badass. All should appreciate the art of it.
