I am obsessed with Sabacc in game right now, have you had a chance to play it yet? Do you happen to have a Set in the works or one available that will look like the one from Star Wars Outlaws? If you already do, can I get a link to purchase please.
We do have a specialty deck in the works, but have a deck that accidentally works perfectly for for it here: hyperspaceprops.com/product/corellian-spike-sabacc-deck/ We've played quite a few games already, and it's super fun. We've got some live stream gameplay also on our TH-cam channel here: th-cam.com/video/SbASSunrgfI/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared We've also made a strategy guide that you might find really helpful, it's the first article on the learn more section: hyperspaceprops.com/sabacc/
@@hyperspaceprops Very very cool, can't wait to see what you all come up with for the Star Wars Outlaws version of Sabacc because from what I have been able to tell so far and please correct me if I am wrong but it seems like the SWOutlaws version of Sabacc is the most accessible version for brand new players. I actually can't wait to see how new players react to Sabacc when Outlaw launches next week and they get to learn and play it in game for the first time.
@@NalyoGaming I think you're right. Our 5, 8, 9 year old kids have been playing it and loving it. It took only a little explanation. I've also designed and added the Shift Tokens (that we know about) to our shop: hyperspaceprops.com/shop/
Now all I need is a robot Nix so I can cheat at the table! Kessel is so easy to learn and play. I'm definitely teaching all my friends on how to play it once my order arrives from you guys! Thank you so much!
Thank you for this - I was dreading the mini-game, it seemed (to me, not great at cards OR a fan of mini games) daunting, but now I can’t wait to play it. This makes the most sense to me of any of the other tutorials out there.
I'm amazed how well i've been playing this mini-game in Outlaws, have surprisingly won all the games and try to scout the next Sabacc table when i get to a new area of the game.
Where did you get these? I need this in my life, I am having so much fun playing Sabacc in Outlaws. I know I need to go do side quests but I see a table and cant pass it up.
The dice in SW: Outlaws seem to roll only 1 or 2, so the Imposter is always very strong. We don't know yet if that changes at higher-level play, though.
@@hyperspaceprops Yep, now that I've played the game, you're right. It's just at the "tutorial table" that it always rolls really good. I saw an NPC roll a 5, didn't help him.. hehe.
I have a project that consists of making Sabacc in Minecraft, but implementing this new varient seems quite tricky and I hade some questions : Can you chose the pile you draw from ?/Can the game be played with one pile of cards after the players are given their hands ? Can multiple players chose the same token from or is it a shared stock. I also had some problem understanding the Syllop and the Impostor Card Is the Impostor Card's value one of the values from the shift dices which the player choses ? If so, I don't understand 3:11 where you change the value of the Syllop ! Some other questions : Can players not have the same wager in game Is the chip/credit wager 1/25 ? The 200 credit example at 1:22 seems to indicate this Anyway, it's an amazing video as always !
At the end when you reveal an imposter, you roll the dice and choose one of the numbers that roll on the pair of dice. The Sylop just becomes a match to whatever other card you have in your hand. For right now, it looks like everyone must put in the same wager. There are just different tables that require higher or lower wagers to start a game.
Here is my big question: Are the shift tokens double sided? In the game it seems like the shift tokens are hidden information until they have been played. Not sure if that would change in a version of the game balanced for real people, since making it public information increases the skill ceiling, but making it hidden information makes the game more random.
Yes, each shift token has a backside. It's similar to just like a playing card where you have a face, and all the backsides are the same. You're able to choose which three shift tokens you want to play with, so no one will know your strategy before you start playing.
The Best Hand: Double Sylop = Pure Sabaac The Next Best: Double 1s = Prime Sabaac If you can't get either of those your best bet is trying to get a Sabacc hand
It would still be possible if we have a "Solo" deck. We just need to seperated the reds and Greens, take out the 7-10 cards, but keep 2 ( 1 Green and 1 red ) to be the imposter cards ?
do you know if there's available rules for centran sabacc? (think that's the spelling) all I know is that was the source of your code name as an imperial agent defector (legate)
@@conorosullivan1347 It's possible that at some point we'll make a set. Right now we are only committing to our design. Since, it takes a bunch of money and time to do a run of decks.
Wait, are you freakin kidding me, you all make n sell these? Oh my gosh, I need to get some asap to do an unboxing and video for the launch of Star Wars Outlaws...
Yup, this deck is an older deck of ours before the numbers of the dice symbols was canonized. We made educated guesses. Our new deck has the symbols correct :)
Outlaws doesn't look like it'll be a good game from what I've seen...maybe that will change, but at the very least I can say that this version of Sabacc seems a LOT more interesting.

I think Kessel Sabacc is the most elegant ruleset for the game that has come out so far.
I absolutely agree. Simplest to explain, yet it gets more strategic and complicated as you go!
Looks fun! Does it have to be that deck you used for this video, or can I use the other Sabacc deck I have?
Just subscribed! Love this video 😊
Yay! Thank you!

Great Vid, I hope they add Corellian Spike rules to the game in DLC

Yeah I won my first game learning on the go, it’s such fun little game to score some credits
I swear they made the main storyline just so they could make sabacc, it's so good!

You can discard any card. I've discarded an imposter many times to guarantee a win and not take a chance.
