- The Teutonic Thrash Giants are back: with Genesis XIX German icons Sodom have released one of their absolute best albums!
The album marks the return of the legendary guitarist Frank Blackfire! Frank played on some of the band's greatest classics, before joining Kreator and starting his own band.
I sat down with Frank to discuss the new album, living in Sao Paulo, Knarrenheinz, and much more!

The other one I watched just before, was in Portuguese. Impressive.
And the 1st one I dug was weird, as the host spoke too fast for Frank, he couldn't let go of his " TH-cam created persona " and I felt a bit bad for Frank, who clearly missed out on most of the subtle jokes and cracks.
After each of Franks answers, he had a silence, then said . .... Cool, while looking at his screen for his next question. As if he wasn't paying enough attention to Frank's answers.
My point is really the discomfort I had on Frank's behalf, who obviously wasn't grasping all of it.
So Congratulations for the way you adapt to your guest, and the way you draw the spotlight on him, not on you. Have a Positive & Wonderful day.

A great video and interview. This is by far the best Sodom material I have heard in a long time. I had almost given up on Sodom with the last 3 albums as they are kind of tedious to get through but with this one I think it is safe to say SODOM is back and better. An amazing album! Thanks for the post!

Frank Blackfire return to Sodom is the best thing ever in Sodom plus the second guitarist York Segatz now developing becoming the best rthym guitar and his shredder not bad York really learn from Frank Blackfire and developed has guitarist plus the new drummer Tony Merkel was the best Sodom drummer since late Chris Witchunter with Frank return alongside Tom and with good new face York and Merkel Sodom are now on new level back to thier best like thier late 80s...Frank Blackfire is way better guitar than Berd Bernneman Kost Frank Blackfire is easy shredder playing Bernneman stuff unlike Bernneman only good on his own stuff but struggling playing Frank part and songs. Frank Blackfire is irreplaceable guitarist
