Awesome interview! One of my favourite bands of all time. There's been lack of interviews in English with Sodom members in the last couple of years, therefore it's nice to see one. Tom's a cool, down to earth guy, and very talkative. I got to know a few interesting things I've been wondering about. Thanks!

This is so interesting! Tom says the key to their longevity is never changing, but Sodom is my favorite band exactly because they evolved a lot from album to album. They've gone from black, to death, to crossover/d-beat, to full-on punk, back to thrash again, even some melodeath

I think he meant in terms of intention, they've definitely changed over the years but the intention was pure, not solely commercially driven.

Sodom is my first exposure to thrash metal experience when I was a teenager in mid 90s and these guys are just legendary metal warriors that will remain my favorite since that love fro first sight ✨

The first Sodom song I ever heard was "Sepulchral Voice" off the "Speed Kills 2: The Mayhem Continues" compilation cassette in 1986. I'm telling ya', it sure scared me out of my pants! I've been a fan ever since.

Legendary. congratulations on talking to Angelripper! Witchhunter was my favorite Sodom drummer during his prime (for Persecution Mania and Agent Orange) faves. glad he still has Blackfire killer riffs and solos! Looking forward to hear the next record hopefully Harris Johns produces he definitely has the track record with Sodom and Kreator pleasure to kill

First Sodom I heard back in the mid 80s was Sepulchral voice .
That riff cuts through anything .

Totally agree with Tom! agent orange in not the best, (i am fed up of agent orange too) my favorites are Tapping the Vein, Code Red, M-16, In War and Pieces and Genesis XIX
