- A few quick tips on changing out the outside door handles. Almost a very easy job. The metal bosses in this one nearly all rusted up so severly that they broke free from the handle. I knocked the handles out from the inside. Then vice-grip'd the boss and unscrewed them.

It is insane how cheap and shitty these handles are on this vehicle. I just broke my third one, my driver door handle came off completely just ripped all the way off... Tysm for this video

Daniel Rivera good luck. wasn't a terrible job really. I suggest doing a back door first to get a better idea of the whole job.
yup i did back door first and was like "wow this is easy". Didn't have to undo the window... then I did the front door... had to take window bolts off. Got it off the track on the sides and was a huge pain to put back, but luckily there was a bolt you could undo to give the track some leeway.

I plan on doing this soon. Im very worried about taking out the window, is it hard to do? Also, would it be possible to do it without taking the window out?
Good video. Helped a lot thanks. Only feedback.... Show people the open up as well. In this case how to get the door panel off.... Easy to tear up the door panel if you don't know what you are doing our not used to DIY maintenance. The window was a great bit of advice.... This would have been a lot worse with the window in place. Thanks again.
There was already a few better videos showing that on youtube. I figured my video was already rambling enough. But yes a complete start to finish is helpful.

I have to do my driver's side front handle tomorrow. Do you have a suggestion on how far to have the window down before I start taking it apart? I'm trying to avoid hooking the switch back up in the middle of the job. I personally appreciate the way you talk is through the whole process. Thanks a bunch!

Hey thanks for the video, I needed to see how to take the door panel off. My drivers side window control panel doesn't work. The windows all work if you use their own switch. I was reading something about a bad ground? Do you know anything about the wiring of the window to the door through a "boot"?

Sorry..... but the "boot" is a rubber sleeve that goes from the door to the door jamb. It protects the wiring from the elements.
