The colorballs could either be like emotions or metamaterials or represent literal people and you’d have even less of a clue. The organballs is fine but given the stuff he drew would organballs would either be ball Cells at Work! or ball four humours, and there still is the chance to a non-obvious usage of organs. The one about political attitudes is also good but too neatly fits into polcompballs enough that he would eventually complain about his polattballs (political attitude balls) like he did polcompballs or Polandballs. Myers-Briggs-balls are basically like Polandballs and polcompballs but with personality types and possible stacking depending on if you accentuate the result of INFP, for example, or the constitutent parts of the type Si-Ne-Ti-Fe turns out as to highlight conscious vs unconscious processes that MBTI was based off of, and even worse can use both the outcome and its parts so it would be even more confusing than even normal balls comics are now. The problem with ball comics is that they have to be reductive, and them being shaped as balls ensures reductivity because the only way to differentiate yourself is a symbol and upholding what that symbol means in a stereotypical manner. They're essentially an interesting footnote in the history of the English Civil War and the development of socialism. So while they were a real movement it shouldn't be surprised only history buffs remember them (and political buffs, I suppose?).

I'm guessing here, but I'd bet they were so minor that they are only important in retrospective. In the sense that they seem like the kind of movement later Marxist historians rediscover while tracing the origins of socialism, like the various protosocialists of the Peasant's War. In contrast to, say, Baffuf's failed Conspiracy of Equals, which while also something of a footnote on the French Revolution it did have an important influence on contemporary political discourse.
The truth is JJ was kinda right, most people don’t know, won’t know or won’t care about the diggers, because it’s such a hyperspecific thing to focus on

Not to “well actually” you, JJ, but the Diggers were a poor choice of hill to die on. The Diggers and Levellers were extremely important, at least partially for being a major precursor to the politics of American Puritans. Check out Atun-Shei’s video “In Defense of Puritanism” from about a month ago if you’re curious. It’s very good.

I mean everything has an origin point, but if we were able to make a technology to know the name of the first caveman with socialist ideals, should we? I mean everything that ever happened in history is *technically* important because had it not happened, something something butterfly effect. I can’t fault you for finding it interesting as finding lesser known parts of history often is, but I think JJ thinking they don’t matter that much in the grand scheme of things would be something most of the public would probably agree on

JJ’s analysis that by stripping the balls of their inherent abstraction and allocating the balls to representing more basic less expressive items they lose the opinions and beliefs that make them easily sociable. To the common individual it is much harder to create interesting social dynamics without these intangible characteristics. To say that color balls are more accessible is absurd.

I think color balls are viable they have enough symbolism and associations to work, the organ balls on the other hand do not. Although they are like the chromeballs in that they represent a specific thing rather than an abstract concept they don’t have the necessary associations
