Deku has one for all, but it is not yet at it's full strength. It is still growing inside deku, which is why his 100% smashes aren't quite as strong as all might's despite all might being weakened by his injury.
In addition, Deku's body is less bulky than All Might's. If he had the same bulk All Might had, Deku would be able to throw punches as strong as All Might's. The quirk One For All literally only gets stronger (it stockpiles as described this episode), so while it's still growing inside Deku, it's actually getting stronger than what All Might had, it doesn't start off weaker than what he had.

Deku has fully inherited One For All, and All Might is using the remnants of his own power, which is slowly diminishing over time. Think of One For All like a battery, which somehow manages to gain charge when you transfer it between devices, but the previous device slowly runs down from lack of power. The battery is the constant, but the energy it outputs can only be in one place at a time.
One thing I like about the AFO vs OFA dynamic is that it's a bit of a subversion of the trope of the hero creating his greatest enemy by accident. This time, it's the unstoppable villain unintentionally giving rise to the only hero that can defeat him.
I mean... AFO did know exactly what he was doing. He allows OFA to be passed only to have fun. Heck he technically gave himself away to the prison, just for sake of entertaintment. You have to remember that he is immortal person who already once conquered world, and has access to any ability. His whole Shigaraki plot is only due to him being sulky at Nana Shimura and All Might, for busting his face. It's the same idea for being a hero - being a villain is also cool, and what's better than to fight your own brother, who is also your nemesis, that you buffed yourself, so you could have more fun.
It’s also interesting that both the greatest hero and the greatest villain had both crippled each other with Allmight losing his stomach and lungs and All for one losing his eyes and is forced to be stuck in medical machines.
basically, when all might fought all for one, he blew his head off, as you can see in the all might explanation, there is a body in front of him without a head and blood everywhere, that's why all for one looks like that now, he is basically healing his head from scratch, and if you remember S1 when all might said he fought a villain but requested it not to be public, that was it, all for one got his head blown off and all might got that stomach injury

Yeah 9 generations have passed since quirks first appeared which I believe happened in 2013. Basically the world plunge into chaos after quirks appeared and it took many decades before things stabilized again. 9 generations is approximately 180 years so the year at the time of the show is roughly 2193 CE give or take a few years

It is genetic. All quirks are, but one for all is not hereditary. OFA literally changed his Dna, so it is technically genetic. Kinda like the X gene from x-men.
“You have to consume some of my DNA. That’s how it works.” Transfer is such a ludicrous quirk that no one would presume it exists. Everyone knows quirks are hereditary. That’s why when people see All Might doting over Midoria, they assume at best that All Might is mentoring a kid with a similar or same power, and at worst assume Midoria is related to him. the 5% limit Gran Torino insists with Izuku using One For All is a good change to his usage of the quirk. when you take into account everything up till now with Izuku, 5% is honestly a good amount. the amount of damage that occurs with One For All is catastrophic. 5% isn't anywhere near that strong, but it's better than Izuku continuously being a one trick pony. you can either have Izuku always use One For All at 100%, and wreck his body instantly, or dial it back a whole lot and have him manage it for long periods of time. 8:47 All i can really say about the example from my perspective is it's cultural in Japan, the highschool girl giving a present to a student as a way of showing affection/care. can't say the same for other countries, but in the states it's kind of downplayed. but i'm not gonna lie, it is an odd/funny example for One For All. not as odd as the Midori-All Might-face, though.

all for one powerset is similar to apocolypse of the xmen franchise except even better as he dosent need to switch bodies to steal powers meaning throwout his life hes must have stolen countless thousands of abilties and even more powerful he can mix them together and use them in combinations it seems like his only weakness is if he takes enough damage he loses acces to some of his quirks such as when all might smashed his head into paste leaving him with only about 20 or so quirks and the fact he needs to master the powers he steals for himself

All Might's issue is two-fold. On one hand, he already was losing the ability to fight from his injury. Then on top of that, you gotta figure him giving the quirk to someone else means he shouldn't even have it anymore. If it did, wouldn't he just be able to go around giving the quirk out to many people instead of just one? He still seems to have some gas in the tank though, so he didn't outright lose it.
Actually it does work like this - it has to be called One for All for a reason. Problem is in the fact that OFA is hella dangerous and it is better to pass it to one individual you can train to be a good person, than give it away as much as you want.

When Deku said the thing about interstellar vacations, that was alluding to the fact that this world is centuries in the future, but it isn’t as technologically advanced as it would be because the appearance of quirks basically halted humanity’s progression for a long time as they struggled to find a way to accommodate superhumans in society.
It hasn’t completely halted though. Their is the existence of hologram technology, sentient robots, and for something minor there was a one off line of someone having a 8K TV when the most power we have right now are 4K TVs.
You unplug a yellow phone and put the charger in a green phone. The yellow phone still has charge but it starts to run down. The Green phone charges fully and remains plugged in so it's always at 100. All might is the yellow phone, Midoriya is the green phone, and One For All is the charger.
A lot of people hate Mineta but tbh, the fact that he always gets punished for his perviness makes him fine. If he was free to just be a creep it’d be a lot worse, but as is he’s a decent piece of comedic relief.
All for One is kind of a mix between Vader and Emperor, I mean Vader thing will come up later, but he is the Big Manipulative Old Olverlord who manipulates people and controls them like puppets and that's kind of more like Emperor Palpatine. I mean he is undoubtedly evil and always has been. Vader was evil for ages but he wasn't always. He used to be Anakin Skywalker and he used to be a good person and was capable of caring about other people. He had cared about his mother and Padme(she was the reason he became Vader in the first place. He wanted to protect her) Obi-Wam(in the past), Ashoka Tano and his son. He even betrayed his master for Luke. There WAS good inside him.
Consider this. All Might stated he would have defeated Nomu with five hits in his prime instead of 300+ blows from 1x12. 5/300 = All Might is only @1.7% of his original strength. All Might also stated in 1x5 as Deku's flame gets bigger (from the passing on of One For All), the ability to use his quirk will diminish until he eventually, "...fades away...". We also saw starting in 1x2, All Might was constantly bleeding from reaching or stretching his limit with One For All after his fight from "...five years ago..." that he didn't want made public, which caused his emaciation after repeated corrective surgeries. Additionally, his time shortened from three hours to about 90 minutes as he stated in 1x13. All Might was very strong and now he's getting weaker. In the end, All Might (One For All) and All For One (quirk and villain name) defeated each other in the long run.
the power is basically you get all the hard work of past generation of users like some kind of save file and add it by the new user training to improve. I think that was my take of the work.

Right, but those events are not literally connected. Like Nahid has been thinking, he's imagining that the remaining "Key" to Deku's power will come from the eventual fall/death of All Might. But like, One for All, like Mickey pointed out, isn't "Wireless". It's not like it's a spirit that connects to one another. Without going into manga spoilers of course, all OFA is a transfer of power. It's like transferring files off one old flash drive to a new one (weird analogy, I know, but I think it works). The data isn't still connected between the two drives, it's just that the old drive (previous true OFA user, All Might) starts to lose its power, and the new drive (new true OFA user, Deku) will have to unpack and use all that power accordingly. I think it could work METAPHORICALLY, in that something like All Might's death could make Deku unlock his potential as a hero, but people shouldn't literally think of it as AM's power transferring over. TLDR: OFA isn't wireless, it's a singular transfer of power. Only reason Deku'd get any better if All Might died would be because he would need to step up and be his own hero in order to make the power of OFA the best it could be.

In dekus generation the quirk one for all evolves and turns into another form. In the manga deku gets the quirk float and tentacles. these both are the quirks of the previous users and cause all might was also quirkless the float quirk came from nana shimura.
They're not sharing One for All, so to speak. It's more like they both have the same quirk. So if All Might wasn't injured he might be able to wield the power 24/7 and train Midoriya till he's ready to be on his own.
I mean All Might's transfer of power WAS a huge depletion of his quirk levels (how David Shield measures quirk levels, I have no idea), even more so than his injury to All For One. I think he'd be in a position to be like Nana was, still being a hero, while also having more control of his power for the most part. His injury really did screw him up, sadly. That's why he has to flex to maintain what IS his normal physique, he earned those muscles fair and square. It's just hard to maintain because he's putting work into his body to make up for muscle and tissue that was destroyed by AFO.

Yeah 9 generations have passed since quirks first appeared which I believe happened in 2013. Basically the world plunge into chaos after quirks appeared and it took many decades before things stabilized again. 9 generations is approximately 180 years so the year at the time of the show is roughly 2193 CE give or take a few years
It was basically the X-men universe when quirks first appeared.
Dell12 16 so they were technologically stunted and so even though it’s been over a century there technology has only progressed by about a decade

While All Might is at least in the same age as Deku when he got OFA from Nana, who most likely around 30-40 years old.

Transfer is such a ludicrous quirk that no one would presume it exists. Everyone knows quirks are hereditary. That’s why when people see All Might doting over Midoria, they assume at best that All Might is mentoring a kid with a similar or same power, and at worst assume Midoria is related to him. (“You’re not All Might’s love child, are you?”) It would be bad if people knew All Might’s power could be transferred.

the 5% limit Gran Torino insists with Izuku using One For All is a good change to his usage of the quirk. when you take into account everything up till now with Izuku, 5% is honestly a good amount. the amount of damage that occurs with One For All is catastrophic. 5% isn't anywhere near that strong, but it's better than Izuku continuously being a one trick pony. you can either have Izuku always use One For All at 100%, and wreck his body instantly, or dial it back a whole lot and have him manage it for long periods of time.

All i can really say about the example from my perspective is it's cultural in Japan, the highschool girl giving a present to a student as a way of showing affection/care. can't say the same for other countries, but in the states it's kind of downplayed. but i'm not gonna lie, it is an odd/funny example for One For All.

as for the comment about advanced technology and space travel thats more a case of the radical shift with the advent of quirks actually causing society and tech to go backwards for a while while the world plunged into chaos and the after that a lot of science and invention was focused primarily on dealing with nd understanding quirks for a long time

All Might's issue is two-fold. On one hand, he already was losing the ability to fight from his injury. Then on top of that, you gotta figure him giving the quirk to someone else means he shouldn't even have it anymore. If it did, wouldn't he just be able to go around giving the quirk out to many people instead of just one? He still seems to have some gas in the tank though, so he didn't outright lose it.

Actually it does work like this - it has to be called One for All for a reason. Problem is in the fact that OFA is hella dangerous and it is better to pass it to one individual you can train to be a good person, than give it away as much as you want.

When Deku said the thing about interstellar vacations, that was alluding to the fact that this world is centuries in the future, but it isn’t as technologically advanced as it would be because the appearance of quirks basically halted humanity’s progression for a long time as they struggled to find a way to accommodate superhumans in society.
It hasn’t completely halted though. Their is the existence of hologram technology, sentient robots, and for something minor there was a one off line of someone having a 8K TV when the most power we have right now are 4K TVs.

I think its been roughly a century since quirks started to show up. I know that Deku is the 9nth holder of One for All though.
All for One is kind of a mix between Vader and Emperor, I mean Vader thing will come up later, but he is the Big Manipulative Old Olverlord who manipulates people and controls them like puppets and that's kind of more like Emperor Palpatine. I mean he is undoubtedly evil and always has been. Vader was evil for ages but he wasn't always. He used to be Anakin Skywalker and he used to be a good person and was capable of caring about other people. He had cared about his mother and Padme(she was the reason he became Vader in the first place. He wanted to protect her) Obi-Wam(in the past), Ashoka Tano and his son. He even betrayed his master for Luke. There WAS good inside him.

Consider this. All Might stated he would have defeated Nomu with five hits in his prime instead of 300+ blows from 1x12. 5/300 = All Might is only @1.7% of his original strength. All Might also stated in 1x5 as Deku's flame gets bigger (from the passing on of One For All), the ability to use his quirk will diminish until he eventually, "...fades away...". We also saw starting in 1x2, All Might was constantly bleeding from reaching or stretching his limit with One For All after his fight from "...five years ago..." that he didn't want made public, which caused his emaciation after repeated corrective surgeries. Additionally, his time shortened from three hours to about 90 minutes as he stated in 1x13. All Might was very strong and now he's getting weaker. In the end, All Might (One For All) and All For One (quirk and villain name) defeated each other in the long run.

Right, but those events are not literally connected. Like Nahid has been thinking, he's imagining that the remaining "Key" to Deku's power will come from the eventual fall/death of All Might. But like, One for All, like Mickey pointed out, isn't "Wireless". It's not like it's a spirit that connects to one another. Without going into manga spoilers of course, all OFA is a transfer of power. It's like transferring files off one old flash drive to a new one (weird analogy, I know, but I think it works). The data isn't still connected between the two drives, it's just that the old drive (previous true OFA user, All Might) starts to lose its power, and the new drive (new true OFA user, Deku) will have to unpack and use all that power accordingly. I think it could work METAPHORICALLY, in that something like All Might's death could make Deku unlock his potential as a hero, but people shouldn't literally think of it as AM's power transferring over.
TLDR: OFA isn't wireless, it's a singular transfer of power. Only reason Deku'd get any better if All Might died would be because he would need to step up and be his own hero in order to make the power of OFA the best it could be.

In dekus generation the quirk one for all evolves and turns into another form. In the manga deku gets the quirk float and tentacles. these both are the quirks of the previous users and cause all might was also quirkless the float quirk came from nana shimura.

They're not sharing One for All, so to speak. It's more like they both have the same quirk. So if All Might wasn't injured he might be able to wield the power 24/7 and train Midoriya till he's ready to be on his own.
I mean All Might's transfer of power WAS a huge depletion of his quirk levels (how David Shield measures quirk levels, I have no idea), even more so than his injury to All For One. I think he'd be in a position to be like Nana was, still being a hero, while also having more control of his power for the most part. His injury really did screw him up, sadly. That's why he has to flex to maintain what IS his normal physique, he earned those muscles fair and square. It's just hard to maintain because he's putting work into his body to make up for muscle and tissue that was destroyed by AFO.
