its not really a shady quirk lol. keep in kind all for one and one for all are different. one for all begins with all for one (the person) giving a quirk to his "quirkless" younger brother. but it turned out that the brother was not quirkless. so on top of the quirk that the younger brother had not realised he had, all for one had given him one quirk too. the younger brother then had 2 quirks, the power to transfer quirks to another and a stockpiling ability, together those quirks were named One For All. the stockpiling ability builds up the power within One For All(which is why all might can create hurricanes because the power within one for all was built up w the stockpiling quirk) so after that, the younger brother knowing he couldnt beat his brother, he passed on the quirk to another hero who also built up and strengthened the quirk then passed it to another and the chain continued until now with deku being the NINTH holder of one for all
All might not having much time left is sort of true; it’s close enough to what is the actual problem to where it’s an adequate explanation for now; you’ll get a better explanation moving forward

Without being too spoilery, All Might isn’t saying he’s not gonna be by Midoriya’s side because he’s gonna die to his previous injuries from A41... he’s saying it because of what he knows from Sir Nighteye... “the immutable future.” Even though he fights it, we learn that he still believes what he’s been told.
