For your trip, here are a few good bistro options:
1. Le Bon Georges- my favourite; pricier, but excellent food and an outstanding wine list
2. Bistro Paul Bert- famous now and a bit touristy, but still good; go for the offal dishes if you are ok with them and they’re available
3. Café des Ministères- popular spot with the political crowd
4. Les Arlots- similar to Le Bon Georges, more of an upscale take on classic bistro fare
5. Bistro Flaubert- chef left to open a new one Michelin starred restaurant, but when I spoke with him in Feb, he assured me that his predecessor is good so probably still worth a look
6. Chez Janou- touristy, but good food and very reasonable prices
7. Le Petite Pharamond- decent enough food, but the interior design is the real attraction
I’d recommend you make a reservation 2-4 weeks in advance (except Chez Janou, which doesn’t take reservations as far as I know), especially if you want to go on a Friday-Sunday. Enjoy

So many rollbacks watching this video it took me twice the run time to get through it. So many elements developed on the channel shining in this video. Combined with Paris this video was a knockout. "Wil-yums" tongue at 7:35 almost upstages everything else and right after Jesse said how he hates what he does with it. 🤣😋

I love it, same bartender I had at Cambridge Public House back in 2022, great spot!
Cambridge is cool, but you have so many great cocktail bars in that neighbourhood or within a reasonable walk. Next time, check out:
1. Little Red Door (they’ve gone through some major changes, but trust it’s still good)
2. Le Mary Celeste
3. Candelaria
4. Bisou.
5. Moonshiner
6. Sherry Butt
7. Bluebird
8. Fréquence
The second half is a bit of a walk, but a nice one

Paris is changing, for the better, in many aspects. Food, cafés, nice people (you read well NICE) people! Try to connect with the locals, all it takes is simple “bonjour“ and “merci“
It is very true. I am from London and have travelled to Paris in 2009, 2018, and 2023 (I will be going back this year as well). The idea that the Parisians hate the British or are really rude is very outdated at this point. As long as you are polite, you shouldn't have any problems at all.
@@Bragglord I can promise you that the Parisians, at least the recent generations, have no animosity against the Brits. They LOVE London and the British culture in general.

What's the name of the restaurant in Marché des enfants rouges?
The name of the restaurant is Les Enfants du Marché. I used to eat there all the time when I lived there in Paris and it was the first stop when I was back to visit in Feb. It’s fantastic. Definitely check it out. Try to go during the week though because it gets super busy on the weekends.
My question is, where did you get that blue jacket?

I struggle to rate many of these places. Paris just doesn’t doesn’t cut it on the culinary scene anymore. Yes, sounds crazy but I’m habitually disappointed by the sheer volume of rubbish restaurants in that beautiful city.
I loved you guys for so long. But something changed maybe a few months ago? It’s just so damn quick. Like I feel like I retained literally none of the video. By the end, I just feel like I wasted 15 minutes. Wish you guys would find your way back of true story telling. Something with depth. Man you guys are the best, sad to see..
