There are pluses and minuses to wearing super shoes in sessions. Birnbaum kind of hits the mail right on the head with his take on this. One of my high school teammates who is still a good friend continues to do all of his college training in the brooks adrenaline. It is NCAA D3, but he’s the top distance guy on his team. I personally feel like I get a lot out of training in very fast shoes. It’s probably just a personal preference kind of thing rather than an end-all-be-all

Agree 100%. For me I think the best option would be something like the streakfly. Where you get the protection whilst not getting all the full benefits of super shoes
