Those 5 in Five are really well thought, smart and fair. I really admire your sharp objectivity. For me personally I would say both MIXed are definitely PROs, so the game seems full PRO to me. So I just purchased the Deluxe edition. And just an important clarification concerning 5:08 - Actually the Deluxe edition have not 1, but 2 additional characters/classes. The Knight is obvious on the Deluxe screenshots, but there is also The Bard from a Kickstarter Stretch Goal. They definitely didn't marketing/explained everything well enough, but today I've send them an e-mail and actually Mike Gnade personally answered me (and really fast btw) that all the Stretch Goals are included in the Deluxe edition. I will try to remember and come back to edit my comment with a confirmation about the Bard being included when my copy comes. *EDIT* (January 13th, 2020): Yes, The Bard adventurer is included in the Deluxe Edition. So that's 2 additional adventures (+33% more than the base 6), also some new Creatures, new Unhollowed, new Locations and 2 more Final Locations (+200% more than the base 1), which is a hefty expansion.
I love your videos! Do you have any recommendations that are like Set A Watch where you control a number of characters and you can combo their actions?
I love the reviews. I know it takes more time, but it would be super helpful to have more pictures and video footage of the game while you talk. I have no idea what it looks like.
Kris Swett that’s why I released a full playthrough of the game at the exact same time ;) I’ve usually done pics and videos as I talk, and might still add them, but doing a play and review at the same time is already a lot of work! But we shall see...
Loved the quick format, per usual. Quick question: How do you feel about controlling multiple characters in general? I was super close to backing this one but ultimately I couldn't get over controlling a team versus just controlling one hero. For 2p, is it one controls 2 and the other controls 1 and a firewatcher? Regardless, going to keep an eye on this one, if they have a KS in the future I may just jump ;) Thanks!
Gutock it very much depends on the game. In more immersive games, where maybe the mechanics take a bit of a backseat and I’m getting into my character, I certainly like to play true solo, just one avatar. Same with very complex games where I just can’t HANDLE all those power :) But for any game with tactical puzzles and power interplays, I like to control 2 or 3, or I feel that I’m missing out on combo opportunities. So here it isn’t a problem. It’s fun to make the characters work together. And you’re really only controlling 3, not 4, in each round, so not too much overhead. And yeah 2 players each have two characters, but one of you will only control one in each battle round. In 3 players, you have a rotating NPC basically for whenever your main character is at the fire. Works just fine,
This was one of my early reviews. I’ve been doing that in all reviews for the last two years it now. Sorry this one is behind the times :) BUT we also have a playthrough if you want to see what the game looks like in action.

Perfect! I always hope that what are cons or mixes for me will be pros for others!
@@OneStopCoopShop your honesty is greatly appreciated..!

Hm, maybe Testament or Genshin Tarot. Also a lot of boss battlers have that "team" feeling but those tend to be huge games costing $100-300!
@@OneStopCoopShop wow thanks for the recommendations! I'll check them out.

@@OneStopCoopShop oh perect. Can you just grab some clips from that to add to the 5 minute review?
!!!!!!
That makes so much sense. I feel dumber now :)
@@OneStopCoopShop I think the comment above meant b-roll and not a playthrough lol
@@Dehalove no worries, it's been standard practice for quite a while now to include play footage in all of my reviews. This is a pretty old video :)

Cool looking box behind you with the VW bus on it. What game is that?
Ha, at first I didn't know which you meant. That is Maximum Apocalypse, from Rock Manor Games.
How is this game compare to Warhammer quest Adventure card game & heroes of Terranoth?
It does have similarities. I like both of those others a little better, but I think this one is a bit more streamlined to learn and play.
Nice review, thanks :)
Great Review! Buy deluxe edition :) Edit: Sell deluxe edition lol
I agree. The extra character goes a long way in adding more variance.
Thanks Mike! Link to the playthrough: th-cam.com/video/jbtWKCM6VG4/w-d-xo.html
