Great, just had my first play through on easy and lost on the 8th round (fun game) watched this and there was a few things I’d not got quite right. Really useful video. Thankyou.
Fantastic tutorial mate, was struggling to work this all out until I watched this video. Finding I have to return every so often to clear up a few errors but that's np. This is such a good game and it's great to be able to play it properly. The expansion is on the cards for sure and hopefully you post a tutorial for that also. Cheers, Kozmo
@@DaletheCasualGamer Thanks! After sleeving the cards I was only able to get through half my locations, but wow I’m loving it! Can’t wait to finish tonight 👍 Keep up the great content!
This is the first Set a Watch playthrough I have watched in its entirety. Really good, thanks! Have you played One Deck Dungeon before? I am curious to hear your thoughts on how it compares to Set a Watch.
@Bruno Eduardo Thanks for watching! I enjoyed One Deck Dungeon, it's a lighter dice manipulation game ... I feel Set A Watch to me felt a bit more strategic. But it's been a while since I've played either.
@@teypan Spirit Island has gone well with my group. We are also huge fans of the Cthulhu mythos, so both the Arkham Horror card game and board game have done well and for dice chucking, Cthulhu Must Die. Gloomhaven is also a good choice for a strategy dungeon crawl. Hope this helps, and happy gaming!
@PrimordialRage Thanks for watching! When you take the "Check Map" action, you can look at the top card of map deck and unused deck, and swap if you'd like. So maybe one will work better for you than the other. Hope that helps, and good luck! :)
Hi the wording on zombies is weird because it seems like you're suppose add the zombies health to the top grave and not add top grave to zombies health. Where did you find the ruling for the wording?
@Brandon Kim The card is poorly worded, but the Horde's health should increase, not the defeated creature in the discard pile. I did find a forum on Board Game Geek for reference. boardgamegeek.com/thread/2230942/zombie-horde-card-confusion Hope this helps and happy gaming! :)
Just played this with a friend, we tried it on a hard and was a walk in the park. The 2nd round we had one enemy go through when we ran out of dice, but the rest of the game was super easy. Anyone else find it too easy?
Great video! I just bought the game and this explained it perfectly!
Wow! I rhought the set upbwas too much and felt disinterested, but seeing the combat i changed my mind. This game good!

@Greg Conyngham Thanks, and glad this helped! I did back the expansion, so will play it once it delivers. :)
Awesome video as always Dale, you have the best playthroughs! Thanks for the help and content here, can’t wait to try this game out tonight.
@Mark Nemergut Thanks for watching, and good luck with your game! :)

Great video!
I just got it yesterday and I’m ready to start playing. You sure clarified some rules! 👍😁
@The solitaire's Gambit Glad the video helped, and good luck keeping the camp fire lit!! :)
Thank you for explaining my game to me. Much obliged, great job!
Great tutorial! Question: @35:23 should the fire be reduced by 2, taking the location card effect into consideration?
@Ocedoc Good catch! :)

@Boarn2Fight B Thanks, and hope your games have been going well! :)
Thanks now I can play
Good luck in your game!!

Question maybe I missed it but what is the unused location deck used for?
